Current status of data center for cosmic rays based on KCDC

We present a current status of data center based on KCDC (KASCADE Cosmic Ray Data Centre), which was originally designed for providing an open access to the events measured and analyzed by KASCADE-Grande, a cosmic-ray experiment located in KIT, Karlsruhe. In the frame of the German- Russian Astroparticle Data Life Cycle Initiative we extend KCDC in order to provide an access to different cosmic-ray experiments and make possible aggregation and joint querying of heterogeneous air-shower data. In the present talk we discuss the description of data and metadata structures, implementation of data querying and merging, and first results on including data of experiments located in Tunka, Russia, in this common data center.

The decay $τ\rightarrow f_1 πν_τ$ in the Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model

The width of the decay $τ\rightarrow f_1 πν_τ$ has recently been measured by the BaBar experiment. The estimation of this width is given in the framework of the NJL model with the axial-vector mesons. Prediction is in agreement with the experimental data. It is shown that the $π-a_1$ transition contribution plays an important role and allows us to bring the NJL prediction to the data.

Processes of $e^+e^- \to (η, η', η(1295), η(1475))γ$ in the extended Nambu -- Jona-Lasinio model

In the extended NJL model the total cross sections of the processes $e^+e^- \to (η, η', η(1295), η(1405))γ$ at energies up to 2 GeV are calculated. The intermediate vector mesons $ρ(770)$, $ω(782)$, $ϕ(1020)$, $ρ' (1450)$, $ω' (1420)$ and $ϕ' (1680)$ are taken into account. The latter three mesons are treated as the first radial excited states. They are incorporated into the NJL model by means of polynomial form factors. The calculation results are in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data obtained with the SND detector at the VEPP-2M, Novosibirsk. The predictions given for the process $e^+e^- \to (η',η(1295), η(1405)) γ$ have not been experimentally tested yet.

The process $e^+e^- \to η(η')2π$ in the extended NJL model

Process of electron-positron annihilation into $η(η')2π$ is described within the extended NJL model in the energy range up to about 2 GeV. Contributions of intermediate vector mesons $ρ(770)$ and $ρ(1450)$ are taken into account. Results for the $\eta2π$ channel are found to be in a reasonable agreement with experimental data. Predictions for production of $η' 2π$ are given. The corresponding estimations for decays $τ\toη(η')2πν$ are given in Appendix.

The decays $ρ^{-}\toηπ^{-}$ and $τ^{-}\toη(η')π^{-}ν$ in the NJL model

The widths of the decays $ρ^{-}\toηπ^{-}$ and $τ^{-}\toη(η')π^{-}ν$ are calculated in the framework of the NJL model. It is shown that these decays are defined by the $u$ and $d$ quark mass difference. It leads to the suppression of these decays in comparison with the main decay modes. In the process $ρ^{-}\toηπ^{-}$ the intermediate scalar $a_0^{-}$ state is taken into account. For the $τ$ decays the intermediate states with $a_0^{-}$, $ρ^{-}(770)$ and $ρ^{-}(1450)$ mesons are used. Our estimates are compared with the results obtained in other works.

The decay $τ\to πων$ in the extended NJL model

The decay width $τ\toπων$ in the framework of the extended NJL model is calculated. The contributions of the intermediate vector mesons $ρ(770)$ and $ρ'(1450)$ are taken into account. The computed partial width and the spectral function of the decay $τ\toπων$ are in satisfactory agreement with experimental data.

The processes $e^{+}e^{-} \to ππ(π')$ in the extended NJL model

The process $e^{+}e^{-} \to π^{+}π^{-}$ is described in the framework of the extended NJL model. Intermediate vector mesons $ρ^0(770)$, $ω(782)$ and ρ'(1450)$ are taken into account. Our results are in satisfactory agreement with experimental data. The prediction for the process $e^{+}e^{-} \to ππ'(1300)$ is given. Here the main contribution is given by the diagram with intermediate $ρ'(1450)$ meson.

$τ^{-} \to π^{-} π^{0} ν_τ$ decay in the extended NJL model

The width of the decay $τ^{-} \to π^{-} π^{0} ν_τ$ was calculated in the extended NJL model. Contact interaction of $W$ boson with pion pair as well as the contribution of the $ρ$ mesons in ground and first radial-exited states are taken into account. The sum of the contact diagram and diagram with intermediate $ρ$ meson in the ground state leads to the result which coincides with the result of the vector-dominance model. Our results are in satisfactory agreement with experimental data.
