Black holes and naked singularities in four dimensional (A)dS Chamseddine gravity

We analyze solutions of Chamseddine's topological gravity in four space-time dimensions and discover various black hole solutions with(out) torsion as well as those that describe naked singularities. Because all of the solutions belong to the sector with vanishing scalar fields, they share peculiar trait that all conserved charges are vanishing.

Near-horizon geometry with torsion

We investigate near-horizon geometry of the rotating Bañados Teiteilboim Zanelli (BTZ) black hole with torsion. Our main motivation is to gain insight into the role of torsion in the near-horizon geometry, which is well understood in the Riemannian case. We obtain that near-horizon geometry represents a generalization of AdS self-dual orbifold with non-trivial torsion. We analyze its asymptotic structure and derive the corresponding algebra of asymptotic symmetries, which consists of chiral Virasoro and centrally extended $u(1)$ Kac-Moody algebra.

Near horizon OTT black hole asymptotic symmetries and soft hair

We study the near horizon geometry of both static and stationary extremal Oliva Tempo Troncoso (OTT) black holes. For each of these cases, a set of consistent asymptotic conditions is introduced. The canonical generator for the static configuration is shown to be regular. For the rotating OTT black hole, the asymptotic symmetry is described by the time reparametrization, the chiral Virasoro and centrally extended $u(1)$ Kac-Moody algebras.

5D Lovelock gravity: new exact solutions with torsion

We investigate Lovelock gravity in five dimensions in first order formalism. We construct a new class of solutions: BTZ black ring with(out) torsion. We show that our solution with torsion exists in the different sector of the Lovelock gravity compared to Lovelock Chern-Simons and the sector investigated by Canfora et al. We compute conserved charges of the solutions by using Nester's formula, and confirm the results by canonical method. We show that the theory linearized around the background with torsion possesses additional degrees of freedom compared to general relativity.
