Investigation of Dark Matter in the 3-2-3-1 Model

We prove that the $SU(3)_C\otimes SU(2)_L \otimes SU(3)_R\otimes U(1)_X$ (3-2-3-1) gauge model always contains a matter parity $W_P=(-1)^{3(B-L)+2s}$ as conserved residual gauge symmetry, where $B-L=2(βT_{8R}+X)$ is a $SU(3)_R\otimes U(1)_X$ charge. Due to the non-Abelian nature of $B-L$, the $W$-odd and $W$-even fields are actually unified in gauge multiplets. We investigate two viable versions for dark matter according to $β=\pm1/\sqrt{3}$, where the dark matter candidates can be fermion, scalar, or vector fields. We figure out the parameter spaces in the allowed regions of the relic density and direct detection cross-sections. Additionally, we examine the neutrino masses induced by the seesaw mechanism along with associated lepton flavor violation processes. The new gauge boson searches at the LEPII and LHC are discussed.

Asymmetric Dark Matter, Inflation and Leptogenesis from B-L Symmetry Breaking

We propose a unified setup for dark matter, inflation and baryon asymmetry generation through the neutrino mass seesaw mechanism. Our scenario emerges naturally from an extended gauge group containing $B-L$ as a non-commutative symmetry, broken by a singlet scalar that also drives inflation. Its decays reheat the universe, producing the lightest right-handed neutrino. Automatic matter parity conservation leads to the stability of an asymmetric dark matter candidate, directly linked to the matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe.

The Dark Side of Flipped Trinification

We propose a model which unifies the Left-Right symmetry with the $SU(3)_L$ gauge group, called flipped trinification, and based on the $SU(3)_C\otimes SU(3)_L\otimes SU(3)_R\otimes U(1)_X$ gauge group. The model inherits the interesting features of both symmetries while elegantly explaining the origin of the matter parity, $W_P=(-1)^{3(B-L)+2s}$, and dark matter stability. We develop the details of the spontaneous symmetry breaking mechanism in the model, determining the relevant mass eigenstates, and showing how neutrino masses are easily generated via the seesaw mechanism. Viable dark matter candidates can either be a fermion, a scalar or a vector, leading to potentially different dark matter phenomenology.

Phenomenology of the SU(3)_C \otimes SU(2)_L \otimes SU(3)_R \otimes U(1)_X gauge model

We study the left-right asymmetric model based on SU(3)_C \otimes SU(2)_L \otimes SU(3)_R \otimes U(1)_X gauge group, which improves the theoretical and phenomenological aspects of the known left-right symmetric model. This new gauge symmetry yields that the fermion generation number is three, and the tree-level flavor-changing neutral currents arise in both gauge and scalar sectors. Also, it can provide the observed neutrino masses as well as dark matter automatically. Further, we investigate the mass spectrum of the gauge and scalar fields. All the gauge interactions of the fermions and scalars are derived. We examine the tree-level contributions of the new neutral vector, Z'_R, and new neutral scalar, H_2, to flavor-violating neutral meson mixings, say K-\bar{K}, B_d-\bar{B}_d, and B_s-\bar{B}_s, which strongly constrain the new physics scale as well as the elements of the right-handed quark mixing matrices. The bounds for the new physics scale are in agreement with those coming from the ρ-parameter as well as the mixing parameters between W, Z bosons and new gauge bosons.

Neutrino masses and superheavy dark matter in the 3-3-1-1 model

In this work, we interpret the 3-3-1-1 model when the B-L and 3-3-1 breaking scales behave simultaneously as the inflation scale. This setup not only realizes the previously-achieved consequences of inflation and leptogenesis, but also provides new insights in superheavy dark matter and neutrino masses. We argue that the 3-3-1-1 model can incorporate a scalar sextet, which induces both small masses for the neutrinos via a combined type I and II seesaw and large masses for the new neutral fermions. Additionally, all the new particles have the large masses in the inflation scale. The lightest particle among the W-particles that have abnormal (i.e., wrong) B-L number in comparison to those of the standard model particles may be a superheavy dark matter as it is stabilized by the W-parity. The dark matter candidate may be a Majorana fermion, a neutral scalar, or a neutral gauge boson, which was properly created in the early universe due to the gravitational effects on the vacuum or the thermal production after cosmic inflation.

Left-right model for dark matter

We argue that dark matter can automatically arise from a gauge theory that possesses a non-minimal left-right gauge symmetry, SU(3)_C \otimes SU(M)_L \otimes SU(N)_R \otimes U(1)_X, for (M,N) = (2,3), (3,2), (3,3), \cdots, and (5,5).

Left-right asymmetry and 750 GeV diphoton excess

We propose the left-right models based on SU(3)_C\otimes SU(M)_L \otimes SU(N)_R \otimes U(1)_X gauge symmetry for (M,N)=(3,3), (2,3), and (3,2) that address the 750 GeV diphoton excess recently reported by the LHC. The fermion contents are minimally introduced, and the generation number must match the fundamental color number to cancel anomalies and ensure QCD asymptotic freedom. The diphoton excess arises from the field that breaks the left-right symmetry spontaneously in the first model, while for the last models it emerges as an explicit violation of the left-right symmetry. The neutrino masses, flavor-changing neutral currents, and new boson searches are also discussed.

The muon anomalous magnetic moment in the supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 model

We investigate the muon anomalous magnetic moment in the context of the supersymmetric version of the economical 3-3-1 model. We compute the 1-loop contribution of super-partner particles. We show that contribution of superparticle loop becomes significant when \tan γis large. We investigate for both small and large values of $\tan γ$. We find the region of the parameter space where the slepton masses are of a few hundreds GeV is favour by the muon g-2 for small \tan γ(\tan γ\sim 5 ). Numerical estimation gives the mass of supersymmetric particle, the mass of gauginos m_G \sim 700 GeV and light slepton mass m_{\tilde{L}} is of order O (100) GeV. When \tanγ is large (\tanγ \sim 60), the mass of charged slepton m_{\tilde{L}} and the mass of gauginos m_G\sim O(1) TeV while the mass of sneutrino \sim 450 GeV is in the reach of LHC.

Signal of doubly charged Higgs at $e^+e^-$ colliders

Masses and signals of the production of Doubly charged Higgses(DCH) in the framework of the supersymmetric reduced minimal 3-3-1 model(SUSYRM331) are investigated. In the DCH sector, weprove that there always exists a region of the parameter space where the mass of the lightest DCH is in order of $\mathcal{O}(100)$ GeV even when all other new particles are very heavy. The lightest DCH mainly decays to two same-sign leptons while the dominated decay channels of the heavy DCHs are those decay to heavy particles. We analyze each production cross section for $e^+e^- \rightarrow H^{++} H^{--}$ as a function of a few kinematic variables, which are useful to discuss the creation of the DCHs in the $e^+e^-$ colliders as a signal of new physics beyond the Standard Model. The numerical study shows that the cross sections for creating the lightest DCH can reach values of few pbs. The two other DCHs are too heavy, beyond the observable range of experiments. The lightest DCH may be detected by the International Linear Collider (ILC) or the Compact LInear Collider (CLIC) by searching its decay to a same-sign charged lepton pair.

Inflation and leptogenesis in the 3-3-1-1 model

We consider the SU(3)_C \otimes SU(3)_L \otimes U(1)_X \otimes U(1)_N (3-3-1-1) model at the GUT scale with implication for inflation and leptogenesis. The mass spectra of the neutral Higgs bosons and neutral gauge bosons are reconsidered when the scale of the 3-3-1-1 breaking is much larger than that of the ordinary SU(3)_C \otimes SU(3)_L \otimes U(1)_X (3-3-1) breaking. We investigate how the 3-3-1-1 model generates an inflation by identifying the scalar field that spontaneously breaks the U(1)_N symmetry to inflaton as well as including radiative corrections for the inflaton potential. We figure out the parameter spaces appeared in the inflaton potential that satisfy the conditions for an inflation model and obtain the inflaton mass an order of 10^{13} GeV. The inflaton can dominantly decay into a pair of light Higgs bosons or a pair of heavy Majorana neutrinos which lead, respectively, to a reheating temperature of 10^9 GeV order appropriate to a thermal leptogenesis scenario or to a reduced reheating temperature corresponding to a non-thermal leptogenesis scenario. We calculate the lepton asymmetry which yields baryon asymmetry successfully for both the thermal and non-thermal cases.

Phenomenology of the 3-3-1-1 model

We discuss a new SU(3)_C X SU(3)_L X U(1)_X X U(1)_N (3-3-1-1) gauge model that overhauls the theoretical and phenomenological aspects of the known 3-3-1 models. Additionally, we sift the outcome of the 3-3-1-1 model from precise electroweak bounds to dark matter observables. The mass spectra of the scalar and gauge sectors are diagonalized when the scale of the 3-3-1-1 breaking is compatible to that of the ordinary 3-3-1 breaking. All the interactions of the gauge bosons with the fermions and scalars are obtained. The 3-3-1-1 model provides two dark matters which are stabilized by the W-parity conservation: one fermion which may be either a Majorana or Dirac fermion and one complex scalar. We conclude that in the fermion dark matter setup the Z_2 gauge boson resonance sets the dark matter observables, whereas in the scalar one the Higgs portal dictates them. The standard model GIM mechanism works in the model because of the W-parity conservation. Hence, the dangerous flavor changing neutral currents due to the ordinary and exotic quark mixing are suppressed, while those coming from the non-universal couplings of the Z_2 and Z_N gauge bosons are easily evaded. Indeed, the K^0-\bar{K}^0 and B^0_s-\bar{B}^0_s mixings limit m_{Z_{2,N}}>2.037 TeV and m_{Z_{2,N}}>2.291 TeV, respectively, while the LEPII searches provide a quite close bound m_{Z_{2,N}}>2.737 TeV. The violation of the CKM unitarity due to the loop effects of the Z_2 and Z_N gauge bosons is negligible. [Full abstract is given in the text.]

Higgs revised in Supersymmetric Economical 3-3-1 model with B/μ-type terms

We re-investigate the scalar potential and the Higgs sector of the supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 model (SUSYE331) in the presence of the B/μtype terms which has many important consequences. First, the model contains no massless Higgs fields. Second, we prove that the soft mass parameters of Higgses must be at the SU(3)_L scale. As a result, the masses of the Higgses drift toward this scale except one light real neutral Higgs with the mass of m_Z|cos(2γ)| at the tree level. We also show that there are some Higgses containing many properties of the Higgses in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM), especially in the neutral Higgs sector. One exact relation in the MSSM, m^2_H^{+/-}=m^2_A+m^2_W, is still true in the SUSYE331. Based on this result we make some comments on the lepton flavor violating decays of these Higgses as one of signatures of new physics in the SUSYE331 model which may be detected by present colliders.

Lepton flavor violating processes τ->μγ$, $τ-> 3μ$ and $Z-> μτ$ in the Supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 model

In this work, we study the charged lepton flavor violating (cLFV) decays $τ-> μγ$, $τ-> 3μ$ and $Z->μτ$ in the framework of the Supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 model. Analytic formulas for branching ratios (BR) of these decays are presented. We assume that there exist lepton flavor violation (LFV) sources in both right- and left-handed slepton sectors. This leads to the strong enhancement of cLFV decay rates. We also show that the effects of the LFV source to the cLFV decay rates in the left-handed slepton sector are greater than those in the right- handed slepton sector. By numerical investigation, we show that the model under consideration contains the relative light mass spectrum of sleptons which satisfies the current experimental bounds on LFV processes in the limit of small $\tan γ$. The interplay between monopole and dipole operators also was studied.

Supersymmetric reduced minimal 3-3-1 model

We build an supersymmetric version of the minimal 3-3-1 model with just two Higgs triplets using the superfield formalism. We study the mass spectrum of all particles in concordance with the experimental bounds. At the tree level, the masses of charged gauge bosons are the same as those of charged Higgs bosons. We also show that the electron, muon and their neutrinos as well as down and strange quarks gain mass through the loop correction. The narrow constraint on the ratio t_w = \frac{w}{w^\prime} is given by studying the new invisible decay mode of the Z boson.

Lepton-flavor violating decays of neutral Higgs to muon and tauon in supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 model

We investigate Lepton-Flavor Violating (LFV) decays of Higgs to muon-tau in the supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 (SUSYE331) model. In the presence of flavor mixing in sleptons {mu,tau} and large values of v/v', the ratio of Br(H -->tau^+mu^-)/Br(H -->tau^+tau^-) can reach to non-negligible values O(10^{-3}), as in many known SUSY models. We predict that for the Standard Model Higgs boson, the LHC may detect its decay to muon and tauon. We also investigate the asymmetry between left and right LFV values of corrections and prove that the LFV effects are dominated by the left FLV term, which is O(10^3) times larger than the right LFV term in the limit of small values of |μ_ρ|/m_SUSY. The contributions of Higgs-mediated effects to the decay tau --> mu mu mu are also discussed.

Probing Dark Matter in the Economical 3-3-1 Model

We show that the economical 3-3-1 model has a dark mater candidate. It is a real scalar H_1^0 in which main part is bilepton (with lepton number 2) and its mass is in the range of some TeVs. We calculate the relic abundance of H_1^0 dark matter by using micrOMEGAs 2.4 and figure out parameter space satisfying the WMAP constraints. Direct and indirect searches are studied for a special choice of parameters in the WMAP - allowed region.

Neutrino Masses in Supersymmetric Economical SU(3)_C X SU(3)_L X U(1)_X Model

The R-symmetry formalism is applied for the supersymmetric economical SU(3)_C X SU(3)_L X U(1)_X (3-3-1) model. The generalization of the minimal supersymmetric standard model relation among R-parity, spin and matter parity is derived, and discrete symmetries for the proton stability in this model are imposed. We show that in such a case it is able to give leptons masses at just the tree level. A simple mechanism for the mass generation of the neutrinos is explored. With the new R-parity, the neutral fermions get mass matrix with two distinct sectors: one light which is identified with neutrino mass matrix, another heavy one which is identified with neutralinos one. The similar situation exists in the charged fermion sector. Some phenomenological consequences such as proton stability, neutrinoless double beta decays are discussed.

Non-thermal leptogenesis in supersymmetric 3-3-1 model with inflationary scenario

We study a leptogenesis scenario in which the heavy Majorana neutrinos are produced non-thermally in inflaton decays in the supersymmetric economical SU(3)_C X SU(3)_L X U(1)_X model with inflationary scenario, and for this purpose neutrino masses play the key role. Due to the inflaton with mass in the GUT scale, the model under consideration provides successful neutrino masses, which is different from ones without inflationary scenario. The lepton-number-violating interactions among the inflaton and right-handed neutrinos appear at the one-loop level, and this is a reason for non-thermal leptogenesis scenario. The bound followed from the gravitino abundance and the cosmological constraint on neutrino mass/the neutrino oscillation data is m_ν3 \simeq \frac{0.05}{δ_{eff}} eV. By taking the reheating temperature as low as T_R= 10^6 GeV, we get a limit on the ratio of masses of the light heavies neutrino to those of the inflaton to be \fr{M_{R1}}{M_ϕ} = 0.87.
