Hall induction for cotangent representations and wheel conditions

In this short note we study the Hall induction of cotangent representations of reductive groups. We prove its torsion freeness in Borel-Moore homology. In K-theory we find an analog of wheel conditions verified by the image of restriction map to the fixed point and consider examples.

Genus~0 Gromov-Witten theory of even dimensional complete intersections of two quadrics: the final step

Even dimensional complete intersections $X$ of two quadrics in projective space are exceptional from the point of view of the Gromov-Witten theory: they are (together with qubic surfaces) the only complete intersections whose Gromov-Witten theory is not invariant under the full orthogonal or symplectic group acting on the primitive cohomology. The genus~0 Gromov-Witten theory of $X$ was studied by Xiaowen Hu. He used geometric arguments and the WDVV equation to compute all genus~0 correlators except one, which cannot be determined by his methods. In this paper we compute the remaining Gromov-Witten invariant of $X$ using Jun Li's degeneration formula.

Integrable systems of finite type from F-cohomological field theories without unit

One of many manifestations of a deep relation between the topology of the moduli spaces of algebraic curves and the theory of integrable systems is a recent construction of Arsie, Lorenzoni, Rossi, and the first author associating an integrable system of evolutionary PDEs to an F-cohomological field theory (F-CohFT), which is a collection of cohomology classes on the moduli spaces of curves satisfying certain natural splitting properties. Typically, these PDEs have an infinite expansion in the dispersive parameter, which happens because they involve contributions from the moduli spaces of curves of arbitrarily large genus. In this paper, for each rank $N\ge 2$, we present a family of F-CohFTs without unit, for which the equations of the associated integrable system have a finite expansion in the dispersive parameter. For $N=2$, we explicitly compute the primary flows of this integrable system.

A conjectural formula for $λ_g\mathrm{DR}_g(a,-a)$ is true in Gorenstein quotient

In this note we prove that a conjectural formula for the class $λ_g \mathrm{DR}_g(a,-a)\in R^{2g}(\overline{\mathcal{M}}_{g,2})$ proposed recently by Buryak-Iglesias-Shadrin is true in the Gorenstein quotient of the ring $R^*(\overline{\mathcal{M}}_{g,2})$. As a corollary we prove the strong $\mathrm{DR} \backslash \mathrm{DZ}$ equivalence conjecture for one-point correlators.
