Topological moduli space for germs of holomorphic foliations

This work deals with the topological classification of germs of singular foliations on $(\mathbb C^{2},0)$. Working in a suitable class of foliations we fix the topological invariants given by the separatrix set, the Camacho-Sad indices and the projective holonomy representations and we compute the moduli space of topological classes in terms of the cohomology of a new algebraic object that we call group-graph. This moduli space may be an infinite dimensional functional space but under generic conditions we prove that it has finite dimension and we describe its algebraic and topological structures.

Tissus plats et feuilletages homogènes sur le plan projectif

The aim of this work is to study the foliations on the complex projective plane with flat \textsc{Legendre} transform (dual web). We establish some effective criteria for the flatness of the dual $d$-web of a homogeneous foliation of degree $d$ and we describe some explicit examples. These results allow us to show that up to automorphism of $\mathbb{P}^2$ there are $11$ homogeneous foliations of degree $3$ with flat dual web. We will see also that it is possible, under certain assumptions, to bring the study of flatness of the dual web of a general foliation to the homogeneous framework. We get some classification results about foliations with non-degenerate singularities and flat \textsc{Legendre} transform.

Foliations and webs inducing Galois coverings

We introduce the notion of Galois holomorphic foliation on the complex projective space as that of foliations whose Gauss map is a Galois covering when restricted to an appropriate Zariski open subset. First, we establish general criteria assuring that a rational map between projective manifolds of the same dimension defines a Galois covering. Then, these criteria are used to give a geometric characterization of Galois foliations in terms of their inflection divisor and their singularities. We also characterize Galois foliations on $\mathbb P^2$ admitting continuous symmetries, obtaining a complete classification of Galois homogeneous foliations.

Unfoldings of saddle-nodes and their Dulac time

In this paper we study unfoldings of saddle-nodes and their Dulac time. By unfolding a saddle-node, saddles and nodes appear. In the first result (Theorem A) we prove uniform regularity by which orbits and their derivatives arrive at a node. Uniformity is with respect to all parameters including the unfolding parameter bringing the node to a saddle-node and a parameter belonging to a space of functions. In the second part, we apply this first result for proving a regularity result (Theorem B) on the Dulac time (time of Dulac map) of an unfolding of a saddle-node. This result is a building block in the study of bifurcations of critical periods in a neighbourhood of a polycycle. Finally, we apply Theorems A and B to the study of critical periods of the Loud family of quadratic centers and we prove that no bifurcation occurs for certain values of the parameters (Theorem C).

Monodromy and topological classification of germs of holomorphic foliations

We give a complete topological classification of germs of holomorphic foliations in the plane under rather generic conditions. The key point is the introduction of a new topological invariant called monodromy representation. This monodromy contains all the relevant dynamical information, in particular the projective holonomy representation whose topological invariance was conjectured in the eighties by Cerveau and Sad and proved here under mild hypotheses.

Topology of singular holomorphic foliations along a compact divisor

We consider a singular holomorphic foliation $\uF$ defined near a compact curve $\uC$ of a complex surface. Under some hypothesis on $(\uF,\uC)$ we prove that there exists a system of tubular neighborhoods $U$ of a curve $\underline{\mc D}$ containing $\uC$ such that every leaf $L$ of $\uF_{|(U\setminus \underline{\mc D})}$ is incompressible in $U\setminus \underline{\mc D}$. We also construct a representation of the fundamental group of the complementary of $\underline{\mc D}$ into a suitable automorphism group, which allows to state the topological classification of the germ of $(\uF,\uD)$, under the additional but generic dynamical hypothesis of transverse rigidity. In particular, we show that every topological conjugation between such germs of holomorphic foliations can be deformed to extend to the exceptional divisor of their reductions of singularities.

Rigid Flat Webs on the Projective Plane

This paper studies global webs on the projective plane with vanishing curvature. The study is based on an interplay of local and global arguments. The main local ingredient is a criterium for the regularity of the curvature at the neighborhood of a generic point of the discriminant. The main global ingredient, the Legendre transform, is an avatar of classical projective duality in the realm of differential equations. We show that the Legendre transform of what we call reduced convex foliations are webs with zero curvature, and we exhibit a countable infinity family of convex foliations which give rise to a family of webs with zero curvature not admitting non-trivial deformations with zero curvature.

Mapping Class Group d'un germe de courbe plane singulière

We prove that every topological conjugation between two germs of singular holomorphic curves in the complex plane is homotopic to another conjugation which extends homeomorphically to the exceptional divisors of their minimal desingularizations. As an application we give an explicit presentation of a finite index subgroup of the mapping class group of the germ of such a singularity.
