Central limit theorems for multiple Skorohod integrals

In this paper, we prove a central limit theorem for a sequence of iterated Shorohod integrals using the techniques of Malliavin calculus. The convergence is stable, and the limit is a conditionally Gaussian random variable. Some applications to sequences of multiple stochastic integrals, and renormalized weighted Hermite variations of the fractional Brownian motion are discussed.

Gaussian density estimates for solutions to quasi-linear stochastic partial differential equations

In this paper we establish lower and upper Gaussian bounds for the solutions to the heat and wave equations driven by an additive Gaussian noise, using the techniques of Malliavin calculus and recent density estimates obtained by Nourdin and Viens. In particular, we deal with the one-dimensional stochastic heat equation in $[0,1]$ driven by the space-time white noise, and the stochastic heat and wave equations in $\mathbb{R}^d$ ($d\geq 1$ and $d\leq 3$, respectively) driven by a Gaussian noise which is white in time and has a general spatially homogeneous correlation.

Parameter estimation for fractional Ornstein-Uhlenbeck processes

We study a least squares estimator $\hat θ_T$ for the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process, $dX_t=θX_t dt+σdB^H_t$, driven by fractional Brownian motion $B^H$ with Hurst parameter $H\ge \frac12$. We prove the strong consistence of $\hat θ_T$ (the almost surely convergence of $\hat θ_T$ to the true parameter ${% θ}$). We also obtain the rate of this convergence when $1/2\le H<3/4$, applying a central limit theorem for multiple Wiener integrals. This least squares estimator can be used to study other more simulation friendly estimators such as the estimator $\tilde θ_T$ defined by (4.1).

Integral representation of renormalized self-intersection local times

In this paper we apply Clark-Ocone formula to deduce an explicit integral representation for the renormalized self-intersection local time of the $d$% -dimensional fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter $H\in (0,1)$. As a consequence, we derive the existence of some exponential moments for this random variable.

Stochastic Differential Equations Driven by Fractional Brownian Motion and Standard Brownian Motion

We prove an existence and uniqueness theorem for solutions of multidimensional, time dependent, stochastic differential equations driven simultaneously by a multidimensional fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter H>1/2 and a multidimensional standard Brownian motion. The proof relies on some a priori estimates, which are obtained using the methods of fractional integration, and the classical Ito stochastic calculus. The existence result is based on the Yamada-Watanabe theorem.

Occupation densities for certain processes related to fractional Brownian motion

In this paper we establish the existence of a square integrable occupation density for two classes of stochastic processes. First we consider a Gaussian process with an absolutely continuous random drift, and secondly we handle the case of a (Skorohod) integral with respect to the fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter $H>\frac 12$. The proof of these results uses a general criterion for the existence of a square integrable local time, which is based on the techniques of Malliavin calculus.

Hitting times for Gaussian processes

We establish a general formula for the Laplace transform of the hitting times of a Gaussian process. Some consequences are derived, and particular cases like the fractional Brownian motion are discussed.

A singular stochastic differential equation driven by fractional Brownian motion

In this paper we study a singular stochastic differential equation driven by an additive fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter $H>\frac 12$. Under some assumptions on the drift, we show that there is a unique solution, which has moments of all orders. We also apply the techniques of Malliavin calculus to prove that the solution has an absolutely continuous law at any time $t>0$.

Regularity of the density for the stochastic heat equation

We study the smoothness of the density of a semilinear heat equation with multiplicative spacetime white noise. Using Malliavin calculus, we reduce the problem to a question of negative moments of solutions of a linear heat equation with multiplicative white noise. Then we settle this question by proving that solutions to the linear equation have negative moments of all orders.

Stochastic Heat Equation Driven by Fractional Noise and Local Time

The aim of this paper is to study the $d$-dimensional stochastic heat equation with a multiplicative Gaussian noise which is white in space and it has the covariance of a fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter $% H\in (0,1)$ in time. Two types of equations are considered. First we consider the equation in the Itô-Skorohod sense, and later in the Stratonovich sense. An explicit chaos development for the solution is obtained. On the other hand, the moments of the solution are expressed in terms of the exponential moments of some weighted intersection local time of the Brownian motion.

Central limit theorems for multiple stochastic integrals and Malliavin calculus

We give a new characterization for the convergence in distribution to a standard normal law of a sequence of multiple stochastic integrals of a fixed order with variance one, in terms of the Malliavin derivatives of the sequence. We extend our result to the multidimensional case and prove a weak convergence result for a sequence of square integrable random variables.

Existence and smoothness of the density for spatially homogeneous SPDEs

In this paper, we extend Walsh's stochastic integral with respect to a Gaussian noise, white in time and with some homogeneous spatial correlation, in order to be able to integrate some random measure-valued processes. This extension turns out to be equivalent to Dalang's one. Then we study existence and regularity of the density of the probability law for the real-valued mild solution to a general second order stochastic partial differential equation driven by such a noise. For this, we apply the techniques of the Malliavin calculus. Our results apply to the case of the stochastic heat equation in any space dimension and the stochastic wave equation in space dimension $d=1,2,3$. Moreover, for these particular examples, known results in the literature have been improved.

Notes on the two-dimensional fractional Brownian motion

We study the two-dimensional fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter $H>{1/2}$. In particular, we show, using stochastic calculus, that this process admits a skew-product decomposition and deduce from this representation some asymptotic properties of the motion.

Rough Path Analysis Via Fractional Calculus

Using fractional calculus we define integrals of the form $% \int_{a}^{b}f(x_{t})dy_{t}$, where $x$ and $y$ are vector-valued Hölder continuous functions of order $\displaystyle β\in (\frac13, \frac12)$ and $f$ is a continuously differentiable function such that $f'$ is $λ$-Höldr continuous for some $λ>\frac1β-2$. Under some further smooth conditions on $f$ the integral is a continuous functional of $x$, $y$, and the tensor product $x\otimes y$ with respect to the Hölder norms. We derive some estimates for these integrals and we solve differential equations driven by the function $y$. We discuss some applications to stochastic integrals and stochastic differential equations.
