Poincaré series and Coxeter functors for Fuchsian singularities

We consider Fuchsian singularities of arbitrary genus and prove, in a conceptual manner, a formula for their Poincaré series. This uses Coxeter elements involving Eichler-Siegel transformations. We give geometrical interpretations for the lattices and isometries involved, lifting them to triangulated categories.

Postnikov-Stability versus Semistability of Sheaves

We present a novel notion of stable objects in a triangulated category. This Postnikov-stability is preserved by equivalences. We show that for the derived category of a projective variety this notion includes the case of semistable sheaves. As one application we compactify a moduli space of stable bundles using genuine complexes via Fourier-Mukai transforms.

McKay correspondence for the Poincaré series of Kleinian and Fuchsian singularities

We give a conceptual proof that the Poincaré series of the coordinate algebra of a Kleinian singularity and of a Fuchsian singularity of genus 0 is the quotient of the characteristic polynomials of two Coxeter elements. These Coxeter elements are interpreted geometrically, using triangulated categories and spherical twist functors.

Postnikov-Stability for Complexes

We present a novel notion of stable objects in the derived category of coherent sheaves on a smooth projective variety. As one application we compactify a moduli space of stable bundles using genuine complexes.

Equivariant autoequivalences for finite group actions

The familiar Fourier-Mukai technique can be extended to an equivariant setting where a finite group $G$ acts on a smooth projective variety $X$. In this paper we compare the group of invariant autoequivalences $\Aut(D(X))^G$ with the group of autoequivalences of $D^G(X)$. We apply this method in three cases: Hilbert schemes on K3 surfaces, Kummer surfaces and canonical quotients.
