Difference Nullstellensatz

We prove different forms of the Nullstellensatz for difference fields and absolutely flat simple difference rings, called pseudofields. A difference ring is a ring on which an arbitrary group is acting by means of ring automorphisms.

Inheritance of Properties of Spectra

A mechanism for the inheritance of properties of spectra by differential spectra is developed and applied to prove geometric properties of morphisms of differential algebraic varieties.

Splitting fields and general differential Galois theory

An algebraic technique is presented that does not use results of model theory and makes it possible to construct a general Galois theory of arbitrary nonlinear systems of partial differential equations. The algebraic technique is based on the search for prime differential ideals of special form in tensor products of differential rings. The main results demonstrating the work of the technique obtained are the theorem on the constructedness of the differential closure and the general theorem on the Galois correspondence for normal extensions..

Global sections of structure sheaves of Keigher rings

Answering a question of J.~Kovacic, we show that, for any Keigher ring, its differential spectrum coincides with the differential spectrum of the ring of global sections of the structure sheaf. In particular, we obtain the answer for Ritt algebras, that is, differential rings containing the rational numbers.

Difference Nullstellensatz in the case of finite group

We develop a geometric theory for difference equations with a given group of automorphisms. To solve this problem we extend the class of difference fields to the class of absolutely flat simple difference rings called pseudofields. We prove the Nullstellensatz over pseudofields and investigate geometric properties of pseudovarieties.

Local dimension of differential algebraic variety

We consider a relation between local and global characteristics of a differential algebraic variety. We prove that dimension of tangent space for every regular point of an irreducible differential algebraic variety coincides with dimension of the variety. Additionally, we classify tangent spaces at regular points in the case of one derivation.

Nullstellensatz over quasifields

We investigate the least studied class of differential rings -- the class of differential rings of nonzero characteristic. We present the notion of differentially closed quasifield and develop geometrical theory of differential equations in nonzero characteristic. The notions of quasivarieties and their morphisms are scrutinized. Presented machinery is a basis for reduction modulo p for differential equations.
