A current-voltage characteristic of photoresistance. A plane case

The formation of photo-electron current in the volume of semi-conductor material is investigated in this article. A plane case when a material is uniformly illuminated by light is considered. The current-voltage characteristic of a photo resistance is obtained in analytical form.

Kinematics of Electrons in the Volume of a Planar Vacuum Diode

The kinematics laws of electrons motion in the volume of planar vacuum diode are obtained. The physically acceptable initial and boundary conditions for the regime of changing of current are presented. A new solution allowing diode self-clogging is suggested.

Analytical solution to the Langmuir spherical problem

The current paper discusses and analytically solves the Langmuir spherical problem. A general solution has been obtained in a parametric representation and expressed in terms of the Airy function. A solution to the electric potential in a spherical vacuum diode with limited electron flow has also been reached.

Analytical form of current-voltage characteristic of parallel-plane, cylindrical and spherical ionization chambers with homogeneous ionization

The elementary processes taking place in the formation of charged particles and their flow in parallel-plane, cylindrical and spherical ionization chambers are considered. On the basis of particles and charges balance a differential equation describing the distribution of current densities in the ionization chamber volume is obtained. As a result of the differential equation solution an analytical form of the current-voltage characteristic of an ionization chamber with homogeneous ionization is obtained. For the parallel-plane case the comparison with experimental data is performed.

Analytical Form of Current-Voltage Characteristic of a Parallel-Plane Ionization Chamber

The elementary processes taking place in the formation of charged particles and their flow in the ionization chamber are considered. On the basic of particles and charges balance a differential equation describing the distribution of current densities in the ionization chamber volume is obtained. As a result of the differential equation solution an analytical form of the current-voltage characteristic of a parallel-plane ionization chamber is obtained.

A planar vacuum diode with electrons possessing velocity distribution function

The current-voltage characteristic of a planar vacuum diode with electrons possessing velocity distribution function during an emission from the cathode (electron beam) is theoretically considered in this article. The electron beam movement in the volume is examined. An integral-differential equation for the electric field potential is got in a correct form. A current-voltage characteristic of the diode for a model function of the velocity distribution of the emitted electrons is obtained.

Current-voltage characteristic of parallel-plane ionization chamber with inhomogeneous ionization

The balances of particles and charges in the volume of parallel-plane ionization chamber are considered. Differential equations describing the distribution of current densities in the chamber volume are obtained. As a result of the differential equations solution an analytical form of the current-voltage characteristic of parallel-plane ionization chamber with inhomogeneous ionization in the volume is got.

Planar Vacuum Diode With Monoenergetic Electrons

The paper analyses volt-ampere characteristics of a planar vacuum diode with mono-energetic electrons, emitted by the cathode (an electron beam). The movement of the electron beam in the volume of the diode is described. An analytic dependence of the volt-ampere characteristics in an unlimited and limited by the field mode of the electron beam is derived.
