A Cauchy--Riemann-Type CK Extension for Monogenic Functions

We introduce a generalized Cauchy--Kowalevski extension associated with a biaxial decomposition of $\mathbb{R}^{m+1}$, allowing monogenic functions to be reconstructed from data prescribed on the subspace $\{X\in\mathbb{R}^{m+1}: z=0\}$ where $z=x_0+x_1e_1$. The extension admits a natural decomposition into monogenic layers, leading to operators $\mathrm{CK}_{z,k}$. Classes of biaxial monogenic functions generated by these operators are characterized by systems of partial differential equations, and explicit power series solutions are obtained. The action of the operators $\mathrm{CK}_{z,k}$ on homogeneous polynomials is then investigated, leading to a class of biaxial monogenic plane waves and the associated system of partial differential equations.

Constructing steering-type solutions for higher order Cauchy-Riemann equations in $\mathbb{R}^{m+1}$

The multidimensional Cauchy-Riemann operator provides a framework for studying higher order partial differential equations in $\mathbb{R}^{m+1}$, whose solutions include polymonogenic and polyharmonic functions, among others. In this work, we aim to explicitly construct solutions to such systems, generated from families of complex valued functions which are closed under conjugation and under the action of the complex Cauchy-Riemann operator. Moreover, we prove that precisely some of these solutions also satisfy homogeneous linear differential equations involving the so-called hypercomplex derivative.

Segal-Bargmann-Fock modules of monogenic functions

In this paper we introduce the classical Segal-Bargmann transform starting from the basis of Hermite polynomials and extend it to Clifford algebra-valued functions. Then we apply the results to monogenic functions and prove that the Segal-Bargmann kernel corresponds to the kernel of the Fourier-Borel transform for monogenic functionals. This kernel is also the reproducing kernel for the monogenic Bargmann module.

Fueter's theorem for monogenic functions in biaxial symmetric domains

In this paper we generalize the result on Fueter's theorem from [10] by Eelbode et al. to the case of monogenic functions in biaxially symmetric domains. To obtain this result, Eelbode et al. used representation theory methods but their result also follows from a direct calculus we established in our paper [21]. In this paper we first generalize [21] to the biaxial case and derive the main result from that.

On two-sided monogenic functions of axial type

In this paper we study two-sided (left and right) axially symmetric solutions of a generalized Cauchy-Riemann operator. We present three methods to obtain special solutions: via the Cauchy-Kowalevski extension theorem, via plane wave integrals and Funk-Hecke's formula and via primitivation. Each of these methods is effective enough to generate all the polynomial solutions.

A Cauchy kernel for the Hermitian submonogenic system

Hermitian monogenic functions are the null solutions of two complex Dirac type operators. The system of these complex Dirac operators is overdetermined and may be reduced to constraints for the Cauchy datum together with what we called the Hermitian submonogenic system (see [8],[9]). This last system is no longer overdetermined and it has properties that are similar to those of the standard Dirac operator in Euclidean space, such as a Cauchy-Kowalevski extension theorem and Vekua type solutions. In this paper, we investigate plane wave solutions of the Hermitian submonogenic system, leading to the construction of a Cauchy kernel. We also establish a Stokes type formula that, when applied to the Cauchy kernel provides an integral representation formula for Hermitian submonogenic functions.

Biaxial monogenic functions from Funk-Hecke's formula combined with Fueter's theorem

Funk-Hecke's formula allows a passage from plane waves to radially invariant functions. It may be adapted to transform axial monogenics into biaxial monogenics that are monogenic functions invariant under the product group SO(p)xSO(q). Fueter's theorem transforms holomorphic functions in the plane into axial monogenics, so that by combining both results, we obtain a method to construct biaxial monogenics from holomorphic functions.

Generating functions of orthogonal polynomials in higher dimensions

In this paper two important classes of orthogonal polynomials in higher dimensions using the framework of Clifford analysis are considered, namely the Clifford-Hermite and the Clifford-Gegenbauer polynomials. For both classes an explicit generating function is obtained.

A new integral formula for the inverse Fueter mapping theorem

In this paper we provide an alternative method to construct the Fueter primitive of an axial monogenic function of degree $k$, which is complementary to the one used in [F. Colombo, I. Sabadini and F. Sommen, The inverse Fueter mapping theorem in integral form using spherical monogenics, Israel Journal of Mathematics, 2012]. As a byproduct, we obtain an explicit description of the kernel of the Fueter mapping. We also apply our method to obtain the Fueter primitives of the Cauchy kernels with singularities on the unit sphere.

Special functions and systems in Hermitian Clifford analysis

In this paper we study some new special functions that arise naturally within the framework of Hermitian Clifford analysis, which concerns the study of Dirac-like systems in several complex variables. In particular we focus on Hermite polynomials, Bessel functions and generalized powers. We also derive a Vekua system for solutions of Hermitian systems in axially symmetric domains.

Shifted Appell sequences in Clifford analysis

This paper is a continuation of [D. Peña Peña, On a sequence of monogenic polynomials satisfying the Appell condition whose first term is a non-constant function, arXiv:1102.1833], in which we prove that for every monogenic polynomial $\mathbf{P}_k(x)$ of degree $k$ in $\mathbb R^{m+1}$ there exists a sequence of monogenic polynomials $\{M_n(x)\}_{n\ge0}$ satisfying the Appell condition such that $M_0(x)=\mathbf{P}_k(x)$.

On a sequence of monogenic polynomials satisfying the Appell condition whose first term is a non-constant function

In this paper we aim at constructing a sequence $\{\mathsf{M}_n^k(x)\}_{n\ge0}$ of $\mathbb R_{0,m}$-valued polynomials which are monogenic in $\mathbb R^{m+1}$ satisfying the Appell condition (i.e. the hypercomplex derivative of each polynomial in the sequence equals, up to a multiplicative constant, its preceding term) but whose first term $\mathsf{M}_0^k(x)=\mathbf{P}_k(\underline x)$ is a $\mathbb R_{0,m}$-valued homogeneous monogenic polynomial in $\mathbb R^m$ of degree $k$ and not a constant like in the classical case. The connection of this sequence with the so-called Fueter's theorem will also be discussed.

Vekua-type systems related to two-sided monogenic functions

Solutions to the Dirac equation are obtained by considering functions of axial type. This indeed gives rise to Vekua systems that can be solved in terms of special functions. In this paper we investigate axial symmetry for the solutions of the two-sided monogenic system and we give examples involving Bessel functions.

Fueter's theorem: the saga continues

In this paper is extended the original theorem by Fueter-Sce (assigning an $\mathbb R_{0,m}$-valued monogenic function to a $\mathbb C$-valued holomorphic function) to the higher order case. We use this result to prove Fueter's theorem with an extra monogenic factor $P_k(x_0,\underline x)$.
