Information Operations Recognition: from Nonlinear Analysis to Decision-making

The book is dedicated to the issues of information operations recognition based on analysis of information space, particularly, web-resources, social networks, and blogs. In this context, open source intelligence technology (OSINT) solves the problem of initial analysis of modern-time information flows. The book provides a detailed description of mathematical principles of information operations recognition, based on mathematical statistics, nonlinear dynamics, complex networks theory, information and mathematical modeling, sociology. A separate chapter covers the applications of approaches from expert estimation theory and decision-making support to information operation recognition. The book is addressed to a broad circle of specialists from information technology and security domains.

The Algorithm of Accumulated Mutual Influence of The Vertices in Semantic Networks

In this article the algorithm for calculating a mutual influence of the vertices in cognitive maps is introduced. It has been shown, that in the proposed algorithm, there is no problem in comparing with a widely used method - the impulse method, as the proposed algorithm always gives a result regardless of whether impulse process, which corresponds to the weighted directed graph, is a stable or not. Also the result of calculation according to the proposed algorithm does not depend on the initial impulse, and vice versa the initial values of the weights of the vertices influence on the result of calculation. Unlike the impulse method, the proposed algorithm for calculating a mutual influence of the vertices does not violate the scale invariance after increasing the elements of the adjacent matrix, which corresponds to the cognitive map, in the same value. Also in this article the advantages of the proposed algorithm on numerous examples of analysis of cognitive maps are presented.

Computer modeling of exponential and logarithmic functions of generalized quaternions in symbolic computation system

The paper deals with the process of mathematical modeling representations of exponential and logarithmic functions hypercomplex number system of generalized quaternions via determining a linear differential equation with hypercomplex coefficients. Simulation is performed using symbolic computation system Maple. Some properties of these concepts and their relation to the exponential representations of specific non-commutative hypercomplex number systems of dimension four.

Computing Characteristics of One Class of Non-commutative Hypercomplex Number Systems of 4-dimension

The class of non-commutative hypercomplex number systems (HNS) of 4-dimension constructed by using of non-commutative procedure of Grassman-Clifford doubling of 2-dimensional systems is investigated in the article. All HNS of this class are constructed, algorithms of performance of operations and methods of algebraic characteristics calculation in them, such as conjugation, normalization, a type of zero dividers are investigated. Formulas of exponential functions representation in these systems are displayed.

Clifford Type Algebra Characteristics Investigation

The main properties of hypercomplex generalization of quaternion system as antiquaternion are presented in this article. Definitions and studied of antiquaternions conjugation are introduced, their norm and zero divisor, and how to perform operations on them.

Some isomorphic classes for noncanonical hypercomplex number systems of dimension 2

Building of some isomorphic classes for noncanonical hypercomplex number systems o dimension 2 is described. In general case, such systems with specific constraints to structural constants can be isomorphic to complex, dual or double number system. Isomorphic transition between noncanonical hypercomplex number systems of the general form and diagonal form is built.

Inifnite hypercomplex number system factorization methods

The method of obtaining the set of noncanonical hypercomplex number systems by conversion of infinite hypercomplex number system to finite hypercomplex number system depending on multiplication rules and factorization method is described. Systems obtained by this method starting from the 3rddimension are noncanonical. The obtained systems of even dimension can be re-factorized. As a result of it hypercomplex number system of two times less dimension are got.
