MAGE: View-guided Point Cloud Completion with Efficient Modality Alignment and Adaptive Geometry Enhancement

View-based point cloud completion aims to recover a complete 3D shape from a partial point cloud, guided by a single-view image. However, existing approaches often suffer from limited performance due to weak modality alignment and limited self-geometry enhancement. To overcome these challenges, we propose a unified geometry-aware framework that integrates efficient modality alignment and adaptive geometry enhancement, mainly to address cross-modal geometric inconsistency of view-guided point cloud completion. Specifically, we propose a geometry-aware modality alignment by integrating a shared self-attention Transformer and cross-modality reconstruction supervision, which aims to bring features of the image and point cloud close to each other in a shared latent space describing the 3D object. To enhance the perception of global shape and local geometric details, we propose an adaptive geometry-aware self-attention module, which simultaneously considers local geometry-aware attention computation and the spatially-variant feature fusion. In addition, we apply a geometry-perceptive anchor refinement module to reorganize the anchor points (representing a local region of the shape) under appropriate supervision, further boosting the completion performance of our method. Extensive experiments on both synthetic and real-world datasets demonstrate that our method achieves superior performance over existing approaches. Our code will be available at https://github.com/weizequan/MAGE.

COMPASS: Grounding Composition-Intent Guidance in Unified Multimodal Models

Composition is a high-level visual intent that governs where subjects are placed and how a scene is organized, yet current unified multimodal models remain unreliable at fine-grained composition recognition and struggle to turn such intent into controllable generation. We present COMPASS, the first unified multimodal framework that grounds composition-intent control in a single system spanning both composition perception and composition-guided generation, with a shared expert token $\tau_c$ as the central intent anchor. On the perception side, COMPASS injects composition expertise into an MoE backbone in a minimally invasive manner and distills the inferred intent into $\tau_c$. On the generation side, COMPASS reuses $\tau_c$ as a global conditioning signal that steers the denoising trajectory, effectively converting passive composition analysis into explicit layout control. To support systematic instruction-following composition learning and evaluation at scale, we construct Comp-11, a large-scale dataset with an 11-class taxonomy and reasoning-augmented annotations. Extensive experiments show that COMPASS substantially improves category-level composition understanding and delivers more composition-consistent, prompt-faithful generation than strong baselines.

CasLayout: Cascaded 3D Layout Diffusion for Indoor Scene Synthesis with Implicit Relation Modeling

Synthesizing realistic 3D indoor scenes remains challenging due to data scarcity and the difficulty of simultaneously enforcing global architectural constraints and local semantic consistency. Existing approaches often overlook structural boundaries or rely on fully connected relation graphs that introduce redundant generation errors. Inspired by human design cognition, we present CasLayout, a cascaded diffusion framework that decomposes the joint scene generation task into four conditional sub-stages with explicit physical and semantic roles: (1) predicting furniture quantity and categories, (2) refining object sizes and feature embeddings, (3) modeling spatial relationships in a latent space, and (4) generating Oriented Bounding Boxes (OBBs). This decoupled architecture reduces data requirements and enables flexible integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision Language Models (VLMs) for zero-shot tasks such as image-to-scene generation. To maintain physical validity within complex floor plans, we explicitly model building elements (e.g., walls, doors, and windows) as conditional constraints. Furthermore, to address the high entropy of dense relation graphs, we introduce a sparse relation graph formulation aligned with human spatial descriptions. By encoding these sparse graphs into a compact latent space using a bidirectional Variational Autoencoder (VAE), the proposed framework provides enhanced relational controllability, allowing generated layouts to better respect functional organization. Experiments demonstrate that CasLayout achieves state-of-the-art performance in fidelity and diversity while enabling improved controllability in practical applications.

Ref-DGS: Reflective Dual Gaussian Splatting

The reflective appearance, especially strong and typically near-field specular reflections, poses a fundamental challenge for accurate surface reconstruction and novel view synthesis. Existing Gaussian splatting methods either fail to model near-field specular reflections or rely on explicit ray tracing at substantial computational cost. We present \textbf{Ref-DGS}, a reflective dual Gaussian splatting framework that addresses this trade-off by decoupling surface reconstruction from specular reflection within an efficient rasterization-based pipeline. Ref-DGS introduces a dual Gaussian scene representation consisting of geometry Gaussians and complementary local reflection Gaussians that capture near-field specular interactions without explicit ray tracing, along with a global environment reflection field for modeling far-field specular reflections. To predict specular radiance, we further propose a lightweight, physically-aware specular adaptive mixing shader that fuses global and local specular features. Experiments demonstrate that Ref-DGS achieves state-of-the-art performance on reflective scenes while training substantially faster than ray-based Gaussian methods.

FACE: A Face-based Autoregressive Representation for High-Fidelity and Efficient Mesh Generation

Autoregressive models for 3D mesh generation suffer from a fundamental limitation: they flatten meshes into long vertex-coordinate sequences. This results in prohibitive computational costs, hindering the efficient synthesis of high-fidelity geometry. We argue this bottleneck stems from operating at the wrong semantic level. We introduce FACE, a novel Autoregressive Autoencoder (ARAE) framework that reconceptualizes the task by generating meshes at the face level. Our one-face-one-token strategy treats each triangle face, the fundamental building block of a mesh, as a single, unified token. This simple yet powerful design reduces the sequence length by a factor of nine, leading to an unprecedented compression ratio of 0.11, halving the previous state-of-the-art. This dramatic efficiency gain does not compromise quality; by pairing our face-level decoder with a powerful VecSet encoder, FACE achieves state-of-the-art reconstruction quality on standard benchmarks. The versatility of the learned latent space is further demonstrated by training a latent diffusion model that achieves high-fidelity, single-image-to-mesh generation. FACE provides a simple, scalable, and powerful paradigm that lowers the barrier to high-quality structured 3D content creation.

BrepGPT: Autoregressive B-rep Generation with Voronoi Half-Patch

Boundary representation (B-rep) is the de facto standard for CAD model representation in modern industrial design. The intricate coupling between geometric and topological elements in B-rep structures has forced existing generative methods to rely on cascaded multi-stage networks, resulting in error accumulation and computational inefficiency. We present BrepGPT, a single-stage autoregressive framework for B-rep generation. Our key innovation lies in the Voronoi Half-Patch (VHP) representation, which decomposes B-reps into unified local units by assigning geometry to nearest half-edges and sampling their next pointers. Unlike hierarchical representations that require multiple distinct encodings for different structural levels, our VHP representation facilitates unifying geometric attributes and topological relations in a single, coherent format. We further leverage dual VQ-VAEs to encode both vertex topology and Voronoi Half-Patches into vertex-based tokens, achieving a more compact sequential encoding. A decoder-only Transformer is then trained to autoregressively predict these tokens, which are subsequently mapped to vertex-based features and decoded into complete B-rep models. Experiments demonstrate that BrepGPT achieves state-of-the-art performance in unconditional B-rep generation. The framework also exhibits versatility in various applications, including conditional generation from category labels, point clouds, text descriptions, and images, as well as B-rep autocompletion and interpolation.

CLIP-Flow: A Universal Discriminator for AI-Generated Images Inspired by Anomaly Detection

With the rapid advancement of AI generative models, the visual quality of AI-generated images (AIIs) has become increasingly close to natural images, which inevitably raises security concerns. Most AII detectors often employ the conventional image classification pipeline with natural images and AIIs (generated by a generative model), which can result in limited detection performance for AIIs from unseen generative models. To solve this, we proposed a universal AI-generated image detector from the perspective of anomaly detection. Our discriminator does not need to access any AIIs and learn a generalizable representation with unsupervised learning. Specifically, we use the pre-trained CLIP encoder as the feature extractor and design a normalizing flow-like unsupervised model. Instead of AIIs, proxy images, e.g., obtained by applying a spectral modification operation on natural images, are used for training. Our models are trained by minimizing the likelihood of proxy images, optionally combined with maximizing the likelihood of natural images. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our method on AIIs produced by various image generators.

iFlame: Interleaving Full and Linear Attention for Efficient Mesh Generation

This paper propose iFlame, a novel transformer-based network architecture for mesh generation. While attention-based models have demonstrated remarkable performance in mesh generation, their quadratic computational complexity limits scalability, particularly for high-resolution 3D data. Conversely, linear attention mechanisms offer lower computational costs but often struggle to capture long-range dependencies, resulting in suboptimal outcomes. To address this trade-off, we propose an interleaving autoregressive mesh generation framework that combines the efficiency of linear attention with the expressive power of full attention mechanisms. To further enhance efficiency and leverage the inherent structure of mesh representations, we integrate this interleaving approach into an hourglass architecture, which significantly boosts efficiency. Our approach reduces training time while achieving performance comparable to pure attention-based models. To improve inference efficiency, we implemented a caching algorithm that almost doubles the speed and reduces the KV cache size by seven-eighths compared to the original Transformer. We evaluate our framework on ShapeNet and Objaverse, demonstrating its ability to generate high-quality 3D meshes efficiently. Our results indicate that the proposed interleaving framework effectively balances computational efficiency and generative performance, making it a practical solution for mesh generation. The training takes only 2 days with 4 GPUs on 39k data with a maximum of 4k faces on Objaverse.

Revisiting CAD Model Generation by Learning Raster Sketch

The integration of deep generative networks into generating Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models has garnered increasing attention over recent years. Traditional methods often rely on discrete sequences of parametric line/curve segments to represent sketches. Differently, we introduce RECAD, a novel framework that generates Raster sketches and 3D Extrusions for CAD models. Representing sketches as raster images offers several advantages over discrete sequences: 1) it breaks the limitations on the types and numbers of lines/curves, providing enhanced geometric representation capabilities; 2) it enables interpolation within a continuous latent space; and 3) it allows for more intuitive user control over the output. Technically, RECAD employs two diffusion networks: the first network generates extrusion boxes conditioned on the number and types of extrusions, while the second network produces sketch images conditioned on these extrusion boxes. By combining these two networks, RECAD effectively generates sketch-and-extrude CAD models, offering a more robust and intuitive approach to CAD model generation. Experimental results indicate that RECAD achieves strong performance in unconditional generation, while also demonstrating effectiveness in conditional generation and output editing.

Occlusion-aware Non-Rigid Point Cloud Registration via Unsupervised Neural Deformation Correntropy

Non-rigid alignment of point clouds is crucial for scene understanding, reconstruction, and various computer vision and robotics tasks. Recent advancements in implicit deformation networks for non-rigid registration have significantly reduced the reliance on large amounts of annotated training data. However, existing state-of-the-art methods still face challenges in handling occlusion scenarios. To address this issue, this paper introduces an innovative unsupervised method called Occlusion-Aware Registration (OAR) for non-rigidly aligning point clouds. The key innovation of our method lies in the utilization of the adaptive correntropy function as a localized similarity measure, enabling us to treat individual points distinctly. In contrast to previous approaches that solely minimize overall deviations between two shapes, we combine unsupervised implicit neural representations with the maximum correntropy criterion to optimize the deformation of unoccluded regions. This effectively avoids collapsed, tearing, and other physically implausible results. Moreover, we present a theoretical analysis and establish the relationship between the maximum correntropy criterion and the commonly used Chamfer distance, highlighting that the correntropy-induced metric can be served as a more universal measure for point cloud analysis. Additionally, we introduce locally linear reconstruction to ensure that regions lacking correspondences between shapes still undergo physically natural deformations. Our method achieves superior or competitive performance compared to existing approaches, particularly when dealing with occluded geometries. We also demonstrate the versatility of our method in challenging tasks such as large deformations, shape interpolation, and shape completion under occlusion disturbances.

GoHD: Gaze-oriented and Highly Disentangled Portrait Animation with Rhythmic Poses and Realistic Expression

Audio-driven talking head generation necessitates seamless integration of audio and visual data amidst the challenges posed by diverse input portraits and intricate correlations between audio and facial motions. In response, we propose a robust framework GoHD designed to produce highly realistic, expressive, and controllable portrait videos from any reference identity with any motion. GoHD innovates with three key modules: Firstly, an animation module utilizing latent navigation is introduced to improve the generalization ability across unseen input styles. This module achieves high disentanglement of motion and identity, and it also incorporates gaze orientation to rectify unnatural eye movements that were previously overlooked. Secondly, a conformer-structured conditional diffusion model is designed to guarantee head poses that are aware of prosody. Thirdly, to estimate lip-synchronized and realistic expressions from the input audio within limited training data, a two-stage training strategy is devised to decouple frequent and frame-wise lip motion distillation from the generation of other more temporally dependent but less audio-related motions, e.g., blinks and frowns. Extensive experiments validate GoHD's advanced generalization capabilities, demonstrating its effectiveness in generating realistic talking face results on arbitrary subjects.

OCMG-Net: Neural Oriented Normal Refinement for Unstructured Point Clouds

We present a robust refinement method for estimating oriented normals from unstructured point clouds. In contrast to previous approaches that either suffer from high computational complexity or fail to achieve desirable accuracy, our novel framework incorporates sign orientation and data augmentation in the feature space to refine the initial oriented normals, striking a balance between efficiency and accuracy. To address the issue of noise-caused direction inconsistency existing in previous approaches, we introduce a new metric called the Chamfer Normal Distance, which faithfully minimizes the estimation error by correcting the annotated normal with the closest point found on the potentially clean point cloud. This metric not only tackles the challenge but also aids in network training and significantly enhances network robustness against noise. Moreover, we propose an innovative dual-parallel architecture that integrates Multi-scale Local Feature Aggregation and Hierarchical Geometric Information Fusion, which enables the network to capture intricate geometric details more effectively and notably reduces ambiguity in scale selection. Extensive experiments demonstrate the superiority and versatility of our method in both unoriented and oriented normal estimation tasks across synthetic and real-world datasets among indoor and outdoor scenarios. Correspondence-Free Non-Rigid Point Set Registration Using Unsupervised Clustering Analysis

This paper presents a novel non-rigid point set registration method that is inspired by unsupervised clustering analysis. Unlike previous approaches that treat the source and target point sets as separate entities, we develop a holistic framework where they are formulated as clustering centroids and clustering members, separately. We then adopt Tikhonov regularization with an $\ell_1$-induced Laplacian kernel instead of the commonly used Gaussian kernel to ensure smooth and more robust displacement fields. Our formulation delivers closed-form solutions, theoretical guarantees, independence from dimensions, and the ability to handle large deformations. Subsequently, we introduce a clustering-improved Nyström method to effectively reduce the computational complexity and storage of the Gram matrix to linear, while providing a rigorous bound for the low-rank approximation. Our method achieves high accuracy results across various scenarios and surpasses competitors by a significant margin, particularly on shapes with substantial deformations. Additionally, we demonstrate the versatility of our method in challenging tasks such as shape transfer and medical registration.

TCAN: Text-oriented Cross Attention Network for Multimodal Sentiment Analysis

Multimodal Sentiment Analysis (MSA) endeavors to understand human sentiment by leveraging language, visual, and acoustic modalities. Despite the remarkable performance exhibited by previous MSA approaches, the presence of inherent multimodal heterogeneities poses a challenge, with the contribution of different modalities varying considerably. Past research predominantly focused on improving representation learning techniques and feature fusion strategies. However, many of these efforts overlooked the variation in semantic richness among different modalities, treating each modality uniformly. This approach may lead to underestimating the significance of strong modalities while overemphasizing the importance of weak ones. Motivated by these insights, we introduce a Text-oriented Cross-Attention Network (TCAN), emphasizing the predominant role of the text modality in MSA. Specifically, for each multimodal sample, by taking unaligned sequences of the three modalities as inputs, we initially allocate the extracted unimodal features into a visual-text and an acoustic-text pair. Subsequently, we implement self-attention on the text modality and apply text-queried cross-attention to the visual and acoustic modalities. To mitigate the influence of noise signals and redundant features, we incorporate a gated control mechanism into the framework. Additionally, we introduce unimodal joint learning to gain a deeper understanding of homogeneous emotional tendencies across diverse modalities through backpropagation. Experimental results demonstrate that TCAN consistently outperforms state-of-the-art MSA methods on two datasets (CMU-MOSI and CMU-MOSEI).

CMG-Net: Robust Normal Estimation for Point Clouds via Chamfer Normal Distance and Multi-scale Geometry

This work presents an accurate and robust method for estimating normals from point clouds. In contrast to predecessor approaches that minimize the deviations between the annotated and the predicted normals directly, leading to direction inconsistency, we first propose a new metric termed Chamfer Normal Distance to address this issue. This not only mitigates the challenge but also facilitates network training and substantially enhances the network robustness against noise. Subsequently, we devise an innovative architecture that encompasses Multi-scale Local Feature Aggregation and Hierarchical Geometric Information Fusion. This design empowers the network to capture intricate geometric details more effectively and alleviate the ambiguity in scale selection. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method achieves the state-of-the-art performance on both synthetic and real-world datasets, particularly in scenarios contaminated by noise. SARNet: Semantic Augmented Registration of Large-Scale Urban Point Clouds

Registering urban point clouds is a quite challenging task due to the large-scale, noise and data incompleteness of LiDAR scanning data. In this paper, we propose SARNet, a novel semantic augmented registration network aimed at achieving efficient registration of urban point clouds at city scale. Different from previous methods that construct correspondences only in the point-level space, our approach fully exploits semantic features as assistance to improve registration accuracy. Specifically, we extract per-point semantic labels with advanced semantic segmentation networks and build a prior semantic part-to-part correspondence. Then we incorporate the semantic information into a learning-based registration pipeline, consisting of three core modules: a semantic-based farthest point sampling module to efficiently filter out outliers and dynamic objects; a semantic-augmented feature extraction module for learning more discriminative point descriptors; a semantic-refined transformation estimation module that utilizes prior semantic matching as a mask to refine point correspondences by reducing false matching for better convergence. We evaluate the proposed SARNet extensively by using real-world data from large regions of urban scenes and comparing it with alternative methods. The code is available at https://github.com/WinterCodeForEverything/SARNet.

Diffractive lensless imaging with optimized Voronoi-Fresnel phase

Lensless cameras are a class of imaging devices that shrink the physical dimensions to the very close vicinity of the image sensor by replacing conventional compound lenses with integrated flat optics and computational algorithms. Here we report a diffractive lensless camera with spatially-coded Voronoi-Fresnel phase to achieve superior image quality. We propose a design principle of maximizing the acquired information in optics to facilitate the computational reconstruction. By introducing an easy-to-optimize Fourier domain metric, Modulation Transfer Function volume (MTFv), which is related to the Strehl ratio, we devise an optimization framework to guide the optimization of the diffractive optical element. The resulting Voronoi-Fresnel phase features an irregular array of quasi-Centroidal Voronoi cells containing a base first-order Fresnel phase function. We demonstrate and verify the imaging performance for photography applications with a prototype Voronoi-Fresnel lensless camera on a 1.6-megapixel image sensor in various illumination conditions. Results show that the proposed design outperforms existing lensless cameras, and could benefit the development of compact imaging systems that work in extreme physical conditions.
