A 4R-supported circular product-service system for luxury branded events

Temporary luxury branded events run on short cycles and bespoke builds that accelerate material churn. We present a circular phygital product-service system that operationalises the circular economy (CE) through a 4R frame (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycling) across warehouse-to-event journeys. Developed via a multi-method design inquiry with a tier-1 contractor, the system couples physical touchpoints (reusable fold-flat transit boxes, adjustable racking, standard labels) with digital orchestration (a live digital warehouse, list-based outbound/inbound workflow, and a sustainable materials library). The architecture aligns roles and decisions, protects and identifies assets, and makes reuse the default under luxury brand constraints. By embedding traceable actions and CE-aligned rules into everyday handoffs, the PSS shifts procurement, storage, dispatch, return, and redeployment toward value retention. The contribution is a replicable, practice-ready route from circular intent to operational change in branded environments, advancing responsible retail without compromising speed or aesthetic standards.

BoRP: Bootstrapped Regression Probing for Scalable and Human-Aligned LLM Evaluation

Accurate evaluation of user satisfaction is critical for iterative development of conversational AI. However, for open-ended assistants, traditional A/B testing lacks reliable metrics: explicit feedback is sparse, while implicit metrics are ambiguous. To bridge this gap, we introduce BoRP (Bootstrapped Regression Probing), a scalable framework for high-fidelity satisfaction evaluation. Unlike generative approaches, BoRP leverages the geometric properties of LLM latent space. It employs a polarization-index-based bootstrapping mechanism to automate rubric generation and utilizes Partial Least Squares (PLS) to map hidden states to continuous scores. Experiments on industrial datasets show that BoRP (Qwen3-8B/14B) significantly outperforms generative baselines (even Qwen3-Max) in alignment with human judgments. Furthermore, BoRP reduces inference costs by orders of magnitude, enabling full-scale monitoring and highly sensitive A/B testing via CUPED.

The asymptotic behavior of solutions to a doubly degenerate chemotaxis-consumption system in the two-dimensional setting

The present work proceeds to consider the convergence of the solutions to the following doubly degenerate chemotaxis-consumption system \begin{align*} \left\{ \begin{array}{r@{\,}l@{\quad}l@{\,}c} &u_{t}=\nabla\cdot\big(u^{m-1}v\nabla v\big)-\nabla\cdot\big(f(u)v\nabla v\big)+\ell uv,\\ &v_{t}=\Delta v-uv, \end{array}\right.%} \end{align*} under no-flux boundary conditions in a smoothly bounded convex domain $\Omega\subset \R^2$, where the nonnegative function $f\in C^1([0,\infty))$ is asked to satisfy $f(s)\le C_fs^{\al}$ with $\al, C_f>0$ for all $s\ge 1$. The global existence of weak solutions or classical solutions to the above system has been established in both one- and two-dimensional bounded convex domains in previous works. However, the results concerning the large time behavior are still constrained to one dimension due to the lack of a Harnack-type inequality in the two-dimensional case. In this note, we complement this result by using the Moser iteration technique and building a new Harnack-type inequality.

Refined existence theorems for doubly degenerate chemotaxis-consumption systems with large initial data

This work considers the doubly degenerate nutrient model \begin{equation*}\label{AH1} \left\{ \begin{split} &u_t=\nabla\cdot\left(u^{m-1}v\nabla u\right)-\nabla\cdot\left(f(u)v\nabla v\right)+\ell uv,&&x\inΩ,\,t>0, &v_t=Δv-uv, &&x\inΩ,\,t>0, \end{split} \right. \end{equation*} under no-flux boundary conditions in a smoothly bounded convex domain $Ω\subset \mathbb{R}^n$ ($n\le 2$), where the nonnegative function $f\in C^1([0,\infty))$ is assumed to satisfy $f(s)\le C_fs^α$ with $α>0$ and $C_f>0$ for all $s\ge 1$. When $m=2$, it was shown that a global weak solution exists, either in one-dimensional setting with $α=2$, or in two-dimensional version with $α\in(1,\frac{3}{2})$. The main results in this paper assert the global existence of weak solutions for $1\le m<3$ and classical solutions for $3\le m<4$ to the above system under the assumption \begin{equation*} α\in \left\{ \begin{split} &\left[m-1,\min\left\{m,\frac{m}{2}+1\right\}\right]~~&&\textrm{if}~~n=1,\quad\quad\textrm{and} &\left(m-1,\min\left\{m,\frac{m}{2}+1\right\}\right)~~&&\textrm{if}~~n=2, \end{split} \right. \end{equation*} which extend the range $α\in(1,\frac{3}{2})$ to $α\in(1,2)$ in two dimensions for the case $m=2$. Our proof will be based on a new observation on the coupled energy-type functional and on an inequality with general form.

Pointwise Boundary Differentiability for Fully Nonlinear Elliptic Equations

In this paper, we prove the pointwise boundary differentiability for viscosity solutions of fully nonlinear elliptic equations. This generalizes the previous related results for linear equations. The geometrical conditions in this paper are pointwise and more general than before. Moreover, our proofs are relatively simple.
