Monge-Ampère measures of bounded potentials

Let $X$ be a compact Kähler manifold and let $μ$ be a non-pluripolar measure on $X$. We give a necessary and sufficient condition for $μ$ so that the complex Monge-Ampère equation (in a Kähler class in $X$) having $μ$ as the right-hand side admits a bounded solution. This implies in particular a well-known conjecture of Kolodziej that a complex Monge-Ampère equation on $X$ admits a bounded solution if it has a bounded subsolution.

Quantitative stability for the complex Monge-Ampere equations

We prove several quantitative stability estimates for solutions of complex Monge-Ampere equations when both the cohomology class and the prescribed singularity vary. In a broad sense, our results fit well into the study of degeneration of families of Kaehler-Einstein metrics. The key mechanism in our method is the pluripotential theory in the space of potentials of finite lower energy.

Bergman kernel functions associated to measures supported on totally real submanifolds

We prove that the Bergman kernel function associated to a smooth measure supported on a piecewise-smooth maximally totally real submanifold K in C^n is of polynomial growth (e.g, in dimension one, K is a finite union of transverse Jordan arcs in C). Our bounds are sharp when K is smooth. We give an application to equidistribution of zeros of random polynomials extending a result of Shiffman-Zelditch to the higher dimensional setting.

Lelong numbers of currents of full mass intersection

We study Lelong numbers of currents of full mass intersection on a compact Kaehler manifold in a mixed setting. Our main theorems cover some recent results due to Darvas-Di Nezza-Lu. One of the key ingredients in our approach is a new notion of products of pseudoeffective classes which captures some "pluripolar part" of the "total intersection" of given pseudoeffective classes.

Moser-Trudinger inequalities and complex Monge-Ampere equation

Our aim is to give a version of the Moser-Trudinger inequality in the setting of complex geometry. As a very particular case, our result already gives a new Moser-Trudinger inequality for functions in the Sobolev space $W^{1,2}$ of a domain in $R^2$. We also deduce a new necessary condition for the complex Monge-Ampere equation for a given measure on a compact Kahler manifold to admit a Holder continuous solution.

Intersection of (1,1)-currents and the domain of definition of the Monge-Ampere operator

We study the Monge-Amp\` ere operator within the framework of Dinh-Sibony's intersection theory defined via density currents. We show that if $u$ is a plurisubharmonic function belonging to the Blocki-Cegrell class, then the Dinh-Sibony $n$-fold self-product of $\text{dd}^c u$ exists and coincides with the classically defined Monge-Ampère measure $(\text{dd}^c u)^n$.

Loss of mass of non-pluripolar products

It is a well-known fact that the non-pluripolar self-products of a closed positive (1,1)-current in a big nef cohomology class on a compact Kahler manifold are not of full mass in the presence of positive Lelong numbers of the current in consideration. In this paper, we give a quantitative version of the last property. Our proof involves a generalization of Demailly's comparison of Lelong numbers to the setting of density currents, a reversed Alexandrov-Fenchel inequality, and the notion of relative non-pluripolar products.

On the set of divisors with zero geometric defect

Let $f: \mathbb{C} \to X$ be a transcendental holomorphic curve into a complex projective manifold $X$. Let $L$ be a very ample line bundle on $X$. Let $s$ be a very generic holomorphic section of $L$ and $D$ the zero divisor given by $s$. We prove that the \emph{geometric} defect of $D$ (defect of truncation $1$) with respect to $f$ is zero. We also prove that $f$ almost misses general enough analytic subsets on $X$ of codimension $2$.

Relative non-pluripolar products of currents

Given a closed positive current T on a compact Kahler manifold X, we introduce the notion of non-pluripolar product relative to T of closed positive (1,1)-currents. We recover the well-known non-pluripolar product when T is the current of integration along X. Our main results are a monotonicity property of relative non-pluripolar products, a necessary condition for currents to be of relative full mass intersection in terms of Lelong numbers, and the convexity of weighted classes of currents of relative full mass intersection. The former two results are new even when T is the current of integration along X.

Equilibrium measures of meromorphic self-maps on non-Kahler manifolds

Let $X$ be a compact complex non-Kähler manifold and $f$ a dominant meromorphic self-map of $X$. Examples of such maps are self-maps of Hopf manifolds, Calabi-Eckmann manifolds, non-tori nilmanifolds and their blowups. We prove that if $f$ has a dominant topological degree, then $f$ possesses an equilibrium measure $μ$ satisfying well-known properties as in the Kähler case. The key ingredients are the notion of weakly d.s.h. functions substituting d.s.h. functions in the Kähler case and the use of suitable test functions in Sobolev spaces. A large enough class of holomorphic self-maps with dominant topological degree on Hopf manifolds is also given.

Densities of currents and complex dynamics

We extend the Dinh-Sibony notion of densities of currents to the setting where the ambient manifold is not necessarily Kähler and study the intersection of analytic sets from the point of view of densities of currents. As an application, we introduce the notion of exotic periodic points of a meromorphic self-map. We then establish the expected asymptotic for the sum of the number of isolated periodic points and the number of exotic periodic points for holomorphic self-maps with a simple action on the cohomology groups on a compact Kähler manifold. We also show that the algebraic entropy of meromorphic self-maps of compact complex surfaces is a finite bi-meromorphic invariant.

Algebraic flows on commutative complex Lie groups

We recover results by Ullmo-Yafaev and Peterzil-Starchenko on the closure of the image of an algebraic variety in a compact complex torus. Our approach uses directed closed currents and allows us to extend the result for dimension 1 flows to the setting of commutative complex Lie groups which are not necessarily compact. A version of the classical Ax-Lindemann-Weierstrass theorem for commutative complex Lie groups is also given.

Density and intersection of (1,1)-currents

We study density currents associated with a collection of positive closed (1,1)-currents. We prove that the density current is unique and determined by the usual wedge product in some classical situations including the case where the currents have bounded potentials. As an application, we compare density currents with the non-pluripolar product and the Andersson-Wulcan product. We also analyse some situations where the wedge product is not well-defined but the density can be explicitly computed.

Entire holomorphic curves into projective plane intersecting few generic algebraic curves

For $q\leq 3$ smooth plane algebraic curves $\mathcal{C}_i$ having simple normal crossings, if the invariant logarithmic $2$-jet differential bundle associated to $(\mathbb{P}^2(\mathbb{C}), \sum_{i=1}^q \mathcal{C}_i)$ has a nonzero section vanishing on some ample divisor, then, for every algebraically nondegenerate entire holomorphic curve $f\colon\mathbb{C}\rightarrow\mathbb{P}^2(\mathbb{C})$, we have a Second Main Theorem type estimate: \[ T_f(r) \leq c\sum_{i=1}^q\,N_f^{[1]}(r,\mathcal{C}_i) + o\big(T_f(r) \big)\parallel, \] where $T_f(r)$ and $N_f^{[1]}(r,C_i)$ stand for the order function and the $1$--truncated counting functions in the Nevanlinna theory, and where the constant $c=c(q,d_i)>0$ can be computed explicitly. In particular, our result includes the case of $3$ conics in $\mathbb{P}^2(\mathbb{C})$. Moreover, we provide some new results concerning the algebraic degeneracy of certain complex surfaces, e.g., the complex hyperbolicity of a very generic surface of degree $\geq 15$ in $\mathbb{P}^3(\mathbb{C})$.
