Analysis of Fully-Heavy and Hidden-Heavy Tetraquarks in Anisotropic Plasma Using the Generalized Fractional Derivatives

Investigating the spectroscopy and thermal stability of exotic multiquark states provides crucial insights into the fundamental confinement mechanisms of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) under extreme regimes. This work presents an innovative study of the spectroscopy and dissociation of fully-heavy tetraquarks in an anisotropic plasma via the generalized fractional derivative (GFD) structure. The radial Schrödinger equation (SE) with an extended Cornell potential that includes Debye screening and plasma anisotropy into account is solved by applying the parametric generalised fractional Nikiforov-Uvarov (PGFNU) technique. The analysis of systems consisting of $cc\bar c\bar c$ and $bb\bar{b}\bar{b}$ shows that the binding potential of the systems and the dissociation energy increase with the anisotropy parameter and decrease with temperature. The fractional paradigm also shows that when the fractional orders are lower, the systems will be more strongly bound than in classical quantum mechanics. Furthermore, the mass spectra for all considered tetraquark configurations, including the $cc\bar{c}\bar{c}$, $bb\bar{b}\bar{b}$, $c\bar{q}c\bar{q}$, and $b\bar{q}b\bar{q}$ systems, are calculated for both ground and excited states. These calculations were performed across both the fractional and classical regimes. The findings indicate that the GFD framework provides an effective mathematical basis for modelling hadronic systems in complex contexts, and they demonstrate significant agreement with earlier theoretical studies.

Approximate mass spectra of the heavy mesons under a Coulomb plus logarithmic spin-dependent potential function

In this paper, we presented an approximate analytical treatment of the Coulomb plus logarithmic potential using perturbation theory to investigate the mass spectra of bottomonium and charmonium mesons for the low-order quantum states. The derived energy equation, to first-order corrections, was employed to model the free potential parameters through fitting to experimental data of the Particle Data Group. The proposed potential successfully reproduces asymptotic freedom at short distances through one-gluon exchange interactions and quark confinement at large distances, which are the essential features of the strong interactions in Quantum chromodynamics theory. The calculated bottomonium masses exhibited excellent agreement with experimental values, yielding an absolute percentage average deviation (APAD) of 0.24%, which improves upon several previously reported theoretical results. Similarly, the vector and pseudoscalar charmonium masses were obtained with an APAD of 1.65%, demonstrating improved and comparable accuracy relative to existing competing theoretical calculations. Although our results were limited to first-order corrections to the energy spectra within the perturbation theory, the reliability of the approximation was validated by comparison with exact numerical solutions obtained using the matrix Numerov method. The small percentage errors obtained confirm the effectiveness of the phenomenological potential and perturbation approximation in describing quarkonia systems. The results suggest that the approach can be reliably extended to higher excited states.

The Effect of Topological Defects and Magnetic Flux on Tetraquarks Using the Analytical Exact Iteration Method

Investigating the non-perturbative behavior of QCD and the dynamics of strong interaction is crucial for the study of heavy quarkonia and the understanding of exotic fully-heavy tetraquarks. In this work, using the analytical exact iteration method (AEIM), the analytical eigenvalue solutions of the non-relativistic Schrödinger equation are obtained in the presence of topological defects and external magnetic flux. The interactions are modelled using a modified Cornell potential supplemented by harmonic and inverse quadratic terms. We demonstrate that the energy levels are distinctly shifted by the topological defect parameter ($α$). The mass spectra of heavy quarkonia ($c\bar{c}$ and $b\bar{b}$) and fully-heavy tetraquarks ($cc\bar{c}\bar{c}$ and $bb\bar{b}\bar{b}$) across several radial and orbital excitation states are successfully calculated using this approach. The computed masses of bottomonium and charmonium accord well with current theoretical predictions and experimental findings. Our findings for the heavy tetraquarks are in line with previous theoretical investigations that consider tetraquarks as configurations of diquarks and antidiquarks. The numerical results demonstrate that a nontrivial interaction between the confining potential and the background space-time geometry governs the mass hierarchy of these exotic hadronic states, providing high-precision data with excellent agreement with established theoretical models and experimental benchmarks.

The Generalized Fractional NU Method for the Diatomic Molecules in the Deng-Fan Model

A solution of the fractional N-dimensional radial Schrodinger equation with the Deng-Fan potential is investigated by the generalized fractional NU method. The analytical formulas of energy eigenvalues and corresponding eigen functions for the Deng-Fan potential are generated. Furthermore, the current results are applied to several diatomic molecules for the Deng-Fan potential as well as the shifted Deng Fan potential. For both the Deng-Fan potential and its shifted potential, the effect of the fractional parameter on the energy levels of various diatomic molecules is examined numerically and graphically. We found that the energy eigenvalues are gradually improved when the fractional parameter increases. The energy spectra of various diatomic molecules are also evaluated in three-dimensional space and higher dimensions. It is worthy to note that the energy spectrum raises as the number of dimensions increases. In addition, the dependence of the energy spectra of the Deng-Fan potential and its shifted potential on the reduced mass, screening parameter, equilibrium bond length, rotational and vibrational quantum numbers is illustrated. To validate our findings, we estimate the energy levels of the Deng-Fan potential and shifted Deng-Fan potential at the classical case for various diatomic molecules and found that they are entirely compatible with earlier studies.

Heavy-Light Mesons in the Non-Relativistic Quark Model Using Laplace Transformation Method

An analytic solution of the N-dimensional radial Schrödinger equation with the mixture of vector and scalar potentials via the Laplace transformation method (LTM) is studied. The present potential is extended to include the spin hyperfine, spin-orbit and tensor interactions. The energy eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenfunctions have been determined in the N-dimensional space. The present results are employed to study the different properties of the heavy-light mesons. The masses of the scalar, vector, pseudoscalar and pseudovector of B, Bs, D and Ds mesons have been calculated in the three dimensional space. The effect of the dimensional number space is studied on the masses of the heavy-light mesons. We find that the meson mass increases with increasing dimensional space. The decay constants of the pseudoscalar and vector mesons have been computed. In addition, the leptonic decay widths and branching ratio for the B+, D+ and Ds+ mesons have been studied. Therefore, the present method with the present potential gives good results which are in good agreement with experimental data and are improved in comparison with recently theoretical works.

Exact Solution of the N-dimensional Radial Schrödinger Equation via Laplace Transformation Method with the Generalized Cornell Potential

The exact solution of N- dimensional radial Schrödinger equation with the generalized Cornell potential has been obtained using the Laplace transformation (LT) method. The energy eigenvalues and the corresponding wave functions for any state have been determined. The eigenvalues for some special cases of the generalized Cornell potential are obtained. The present results are applied to calculate the mass spectra of heavy quarkonium systems such as charmonium and bottomonium and the bc meson. A comparison is discussed with the experimental data and recent works. The present results are improved in comparison with other recent studies and are in a good agreement with the experimental data. The effect of the dimensional number (N) on the meson masses has been studied. We note that the meson masses increase in higher dimensions.

Binding Energies and Dissociation Temperatures of Heavy Quarkonia at Finite Temperature and Chemical Potential in the N-dimensional space

The N-dimensional radial Schrödinger equation has been solved using the analytical exact iteration method (AEIM), in which the Cornell potential is generalized to finite temperature and chemical potential. The energy eigenvalues have been calculated in the N-dimensional space for any state (n, l). The present results have been applied for studying quarkonium properties such as charmonium and bottomonium masses. The binding energies and the mass spectra of heavy quarkonia are studied in the N-dimensional space. The dissociation temperatures for different states of heavy quarkonia are calculated in the three dimensional space. The influence of dimensionality number (N) has been discussed on the dissociation temperatures. A comparison is studied with other recent works. We conclude that the AEIM successes to predict the heavy-quarkonium properties at finite temperature and chemical potential.
