In this paper, we find the necessary and sufficient conditions under which two classes of (q, a, b)-metrics are projectively related to a Kropina metric.
In this paper, we prove that evry 3-dimensional manifold M is a ?- recurrent N(k)-contact metric manifold if and only if it is flat. Then we classify the ?-recurrent contact metric manifolds of constant curvature. This implies that there exists no ?-recurrent N(k)-contact metric manifold, which is neither symmetric nor locally ?-symmetric.
In this paper, we show that there is no phi-recurrent Sasakian manifold. Then we prove that the only flat 3-dimensional manifolds are phi-recurrent (k, m)-contact metric manifolds.
In this paper, we construct a new class of Finsler manifolds called generalized isotropic Berwald manifolds which is an extension of the class of isotropic Berwald manifolds. We prove that every generalized isotropic Berwald manifold is a generalized Douglas-Weyl manifold. On a compact generalized isotropic Berwald manifold, we show that the notions of stretch and Landsberg curvatures are equivalent. Then we prove that on these manifolds, a Finsler metric is R-quadratic if and only if it is a stretch metric with vanishing E -curvature. Finally, we determine the flag curvature of generalized isotropic Berwald manifold with scalar flag curvature.
In this paper, we define some non-Riemannian curvature properties for Cartan spaces. We consider Cartan space with the m-th root metric. We prove that every m-th root Cartan space of isotropic Landsberg curvature, or isotropic mean Landsberg curvature, or isotropic mean Berwald curvature reduces to a Landsberg, weakly Landsberg and weakly Berwald space, respectively. Then we show that m-th root Cartan space of almost vanishing H-curvature satisfies H = 0.
The norm of Cartan torsion plays an important role for studying of immersion theory in Finsler geometry. Indeed, Finsler manifold with unbounded Cartan torsion can not be isometrically imbedded into any Minkowski space. In this paper, we find two subclasses of (?, ?)-metrics which have bounded Cartan torsion. Then, we give two subclasses of (?, ?)-metrics whose bound on the Cartan torsions are independent of the norm of ?.
In this paper, we characterize locally dually flat generalized m-th root Finsler metrics. Then we find a condition under which a generalized m-th root metric is projectively related to a m-th root metric. Finally, we prove that if a generalized m-th root metric is conformal to a m-th root metric, then both of them reduce to Riemannian metrics.
On the product of two Finsler manifolds M1 M2, we consider the twisted metric F which is construct by using Finsler metrics F1 and F2 on the manifolds M1 and M2, respectively. We introduce horizontal and vertical distributions on twisted product Finsler manifold and study Creducible and semi-C-reducible properties of this manifold. Then we obtain the Riemannian curvature and some of non-Riemannian curvatures of the twisted product Finsler manifold such as Berwald curvature, mean Berwald curvature and we find the relations between these objects and their corresponding objects on M1 and M2. Finally, we study locally dually flat twisted product Finsler manifold.
In this paper, we define almost paracontact and normal almost paracontact Finsler structures on a vector bundle and find some conditions for integrability of these structures. We define paracontact metric, para- Sasakian and K-paracontact Finsler structures and study some properties of these structures. For a K-paracontact Finsler structure, we find the vertical and horizontal flag curvatures. Then, we define vertical ?-flag curvature and prove that every locally symmetric para-Sasakian Finsler structure has negative vertical ?-flag curvature. Finally, we define the horizontal and vertical Ricci tensors of a para-Sasakian Finsler structure and study some curvature properties of them.
The soft topological spaces and some their related concepts have stud- ied in [7]. In this paper, we introduce and study the notions of soft connected topological spaces after a review of preliminary definitions.
In this paper, we consider doubly warped product (DWP) Finsler manifolds with some non-Riemannian curvature properties. First, we study Berwald and isotropic mean Berwald DWP-Finsler manifolds. Then we prove that every proper Douglas DWP-Finsler manifold is Riemannian. We show that a proper DWP-manifold is Landsbergian if and only it is Berwaldian. In continue, we prove that every relatively isotropic Landsberg DWP-manifold is a Landsberg manifold. We show that a relatively isotropic mean Landsberg warped product manifold is a weakly Landsberg manifold. Finally, we show that there is no any locally dually flat proper DWP-Finsler manifold.
In this paper, we introduce horizontal and vertical warped product Finsler manifold. We prove that every C-reducible or proper Berwaldian doubly warped product Finsler manifold is Riemannian. Then, we find the relation between Riemmanian curvatures of doubly warped product Finsler manifold and its components, and consider the cases that this manifold is flat or has scalar flag curvature. We define the doubly warped Sasaki-Matsumoto metric for warped product manifolds and find a condition under which the horizontal and vertical tangent bundles are totally geodesic. Also, we obtain some conditions under which a foliated manifold reduces to a Reinhart manifold. Finally, we study an almost complex structure on the slit tangent bundle of a doubly warped product Finsler manifold.
In this paper, we study the class of Finsler metrics, namely (α, β)- metrics, which satisfies the un-normal or normal Ricci flow equation.
In this paper, we study Randers metrics and find a condition on Ricci tensor of these metrics to be Berwaldian. This generalize Shen's Theorem which says: every R-°at complete Randers metric is locally Minkowskian. Then we find a necessary and sufficient condition on Ricci tensor under which a Randers metric of scalar °ag curvature is of zero °ag curvature.
A Cartan manifold is a smooth manifold M whose slit cotangent bundle T*M0 is endowed with a regular Hamiltonian K which is positively homogeneous of degree 2 in momenta. The Hamiltonian K defines a (pseudo)-Riemannian metric gij in the vertical bundle over T*M0 and using it a Sasaki type metric on T*M0 is constructed. A natural almost complex structure is also defined by K on T*M0 in such a way that pairing it with the Sasaki type metric an almost Kähler structure is obtained. In this paper we deform gij to a pseudo-Riemannian metric Gij and we define a corresponding almost complex Kähler structure. We determine the Levi-Civita connection of G and compute all the components of its curvature. Then we prove that if the structure (T*M0, G, J) is Kähler- Einstein, then the Cartan structure given by K reduce to a Riemannian one.
In this paper, we define a new metric on Cartan manifolds and obtain a Kähler structure on their cotangent bundles. We prove that on a Cartan manifold M of negative constant flag curvature, (T* M_0, G, J) has a Käahlerian structure. For Cartan manifolds of positive constant flag curvature, we show that the tube around the zero section has a Käahlerian structure. Finally by computing the Levi-Civita connection and components of curvature related to this metric, we show that there is no non- Riemannian Cartan structure such that (T* M_0, G, J) became a Einstein manifold or locally symmetric manifold.
Noting that the complete lift of a Rimannian metric defined on a differentiable manifold is not 0-homogeneous on the fibers of the tangent bundle . In this paper we introduce a new lift which is 0-homogeneous. It determines on slit tangent bundle a pseudo-Riemannian metric, which depends only on the metric . We study some of the geometrical properties of this pseudo-Riemannian space and define the natural almost complex structure and natural almost product structure which preserve the property of homogeneity and find some new results.
