Search for a Dark Gauge Boson Within Einstein-Cartan Theory at the ILC Using Multivariate Analysis

Multivariate analysis (MVA) is employed to probe the dark matter candidate A$^{\prime}$, a gauge boson of a model rooted within Einstein-Cartan Theory, at the International Linear Collider (ILC). \texttt{WHIZARD} package is used as the event generator to simulate electron-positron interactions at the ILC, at a 500 GeV center-of-mass energy ($\sqrt s$) and a 500 fb$^{-1}$ detector's integrated luminosity ($\mathcal{L}$), to produce the A$^{\prime}$ signal and the expected standard model background. The study focuses on the muonic decay channel of A$^{\prime}$, utilizing several MVA classifiers such as Fisher, Deep Neural Network (DNN), and the Boosted Decision Tree (BDT), aiming to discriminate between the signal of several benchmark points, within theoretical and experimental limits, and the standard model background, and to explore their discovery potential at the ILC. Most benchmark points were proved discoverable at the ILC within $\mathcal{L}= 500$ fb$^{-1}$.

Probing the dimuon channel of a Z' boson at the HL-LHC using multivariate analysis

The upcoming upgrade of the existing LHC facility at CERN is known as the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC). It is designed to extend its physics reach by substantially increasing the integrated luminosity. It will enable more precise measurements of the Standard Model (SM) and improve sensitivity to rare events and possible new physics signatures. This study adopts a multivariate analysis (MVA) approach to effectively discriminate the dark Higgs (DH) signal against the dominant SM background. The analysis targets the leptonic decay mode of the $Z'$ boson, focusing on the dimuon final state at $\sqrt{s} = 14,\text{TeV}$ and $3000,\text{fb}^{-1}$ integrated luminosity corresponding to the HL-LHC. The DH signal is examined using the Toolkit for Multivariate Analysis (TMVA), employing and comparing the performance of three classifiers: Boosted Decision Trees (BDT), Deep Neural Networks (DNN), and Likelihood estimators.

Search for dark matter in the framework of Einstein-Cartan gravity at the International Linear Collider (ILC)

This paper investigates the possibility of Dark Matter (DM) fermions production alongside a gauge boson (A$^{\prime}$) using a model based on Einstein-Cartan gravity in an electron-positron linear collider, such as the ILC, that operates at a center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} = 500$ GeV with a detector's integrated luminosity of 500 fb$^{-1}$. We used the WHIZARD package as the event generator to simulate the $ e^{+} e^{-}$ interactions that lead to the production of di-muon pairs and missing transverse energy. We specifically are performing this study on a low mass dark gauge boson, M$_{A^\prime}$= 10 GeV, that can subsequently decay into a muon pair (A$^\prime\rightarrow μ^{+}μ^{-})$ while aiming to set upper limits on the free parameters' masses of the model, such as the torsion field (ST), if evidence for physics beyond the standard model is not found.

Probing a novel neutral heavy gauge boson within the mono-Z$^{\prime}$ portal at the HL-LHC

This study examines the production of dark matter events alongside a Z$^{\prime}$ boson decaying through leptonic channels in simulated proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider. The analysis focuses on collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 14 TeV under high-luminosity conditions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1000 fb$^{-1}$. Using Monte Carlo simulations interpreted within the Effective Field Theory (EFT) framework, the work investigates potential signatures of new physics. In the absence of such phenomena, upper limits are placed on critical EFT parameters, including the theory's cutoff scale and the mass of the Z$^{\prime}$ boson.
