Notes on Leibniz $n$-algebras

We analyze behaviors of generalized forgetful and Daletskii-Takhtajan's functors on perfect objects and crossed modules of Leibniz $n$-algebras. Then we give applications to homology and universal central extensions of Leibniz $n$-algebras.

A non-abelian tensor product of algebras with bracket

We introduce and study a non-abelian tensor product of two algebras with bracket with compatible actions on each other. We investigate its applications to the universal central extensions and the low-dimensional homology of perfect algebras with bracket.

Wells type exact sequence and crossed extensions of algebras with bracket

We study the extensibility problem of a pair of derivations associated with an abelian extension of algebras with bracket, and derive an exact sequence of the Wells type. We introduce crossed modules for algebras with bracket and prove their equivalence with internal categories in the category of algebras with bracket. We interpret the set of equivalence classes of crossed extensions as the second cohomology. Finally, we construct an eight term exact sequence in the cohomology of algebras with bracket.

$q$-crossed modules and $q$-capability of Lie algebras

Given a non-negative integer $q$, we study two different notions of the $q$-capability of Lie algebras via the non-abelian $q$-exterior product of Lie algebras. The first is related to the $q$-crossed modules and inner $q$-derivations, and the second is the Lie algebra version of the $q$-capability of groups proposed by Ellis in 1995.

Actor of a crossed module of dialgebras via tetramultipliers

We study the representability of actions in the category of crossed modules of dialgebras via tetramultipliers. We deduce a pair of dialgebras in order to construct an object which, under certain circumstances, is the actor (also known as the split extension classifier). Moreover, we give give a full description of actions in terms of equations. Finally, we check that under the aforementioned circumstances, the center coincides with the kernel of the canonical map from a crossed module to its actor.

A non-abelian exterior product and homology of Leibniz algebras

We introduce a non-abelian exterior product of two crossed modules of Leibniz algebra and investigate its relation to the low dimensional Leibniz homology. Later this non-abelian exterior product is applied to the construction of eight term exact sequence in Leibniz homology. Also its relationship to the universal quadratic functor is established, which is applied to the comparison of the second Lie and Leibniz homologies of a Lie algebra.

Actor of a crossed module of Leibniz algebras

We extend to the category of crossed modules of Leibniz algebras the notion of biderivation via the action of a Leibniz algebra. This results into a pair of Leibniz algebras which allow us to construct an object which is the actor under certain circumstances. Additionally, we give a description of an action in the category of crossed modules of Leibniz algebras in terms of equations. Finally, we check that, under the aforementioned conditions, the kernel of the canonical map from a crossed module to its actor coincides with the center and we introduce the notions of crossed module of inner and outer biderivations.

Non-abelian tensor product and homology of Lie Superalgebras

We introduce the non-abelian tensor product of Lie superalgebras, study some of its properties including nilpotency, solvability and Engel, and we use it to describe the universal central extensions of Lie superalgebras. We present the low-dimensional non-abelian homology of Lie superalgebras and establish its relationship with the cyclic homology of associative superalgebras. We also define the non-abelian exterior product and give an analogue of Miller's theorem, Hopf formula and a six-term exact sequence for the homology of Lie superalgebras.

Some results on homology of Leibniz and Lie n-algebras

From the viewpoint of semi-abelian homology, some recent results on homology of Leibniz n-algebras can be explained categorically. In parallel with these results, we develop an analogous theory for Lie n-algebras. We also consider the relative case: homology of Leibniz n-algebras relative to the subvariety of Lie n-algebras.

Cyclic Homologies of Crossed Modules of Algebras

The Hochschild and (cotriple) cyclic homologies of crossed modules of (not-necessarily-unital) associative algebras are investigated. Wodzicki's excision theorem is extended for inclusion crossed modules in the category of crossed modules of algebras. The cyclic and cotriple cyclic homologies of crossed modules are compared in terms of long exact homology sequence, generalising the relative cyclic homology exact sequence.
