Study on the applicability of Varshni potential to predict the mass-spectra of the quark-antiquark systems in a non-relativistic framework

In this work, we obtain the Schrödinger equation solutions for the Varshni potential using the Nikiforov-Uvarov method. The energy eigenvalues are obtained in non-relativistic regime. The corresponding eigenfunction is obtained in terms of Laguerre polynomials. We applied the present results to calculate heavy-meson masses of charmonium and bottomonium .The mass spectra for charmonium and bottomonium multiplets have predicted numerically. The results are in good agreement with experimental data and the work of other researchers.

Analytical solutions of the Schrödinger equation with Kratzer-screened Coulomb potential to the Quarkonium systems

In this work, we obtain the Schrödinger equation solutions for the Kratzer potential plus screened Coulomb potential model using the series expansion method. The energy eigenvalues is obtained in non-relativistic regime and the corresponding unnormalized eigenfunction. Three special cases were obtained. We applied the present results to calculate heavy-meson masses of charmonium and bottomonium , and we got the numerical values for 1S, 2S, 1P,2P, 3S, 4S ,1D,2D and 1F states. The results are in good agreement with experimental data and the work of other researchers.

Analytical Investigation of Meson Spectrum via Exact Quantization Rule Approach

We solved the radial Schr"odinger equation analytically using the Exact Quantization Rule approach to obtain the energy eigenvalues with the Extended Cornell potential ECP. The present results are applied for calculating the mass spectra of heavy mesons such as charmonium cc and bottomonium bb, and heavylight mesons such as bottom-charm bc and charm-Strange cs for different quantum states. Two special cases were considered when some of the potential parameters were set to zero, resulting into Coulomb potential, and Cornell potential, respectively. The present potential provides excellent results in comparison with experimental data with a maximum error of 0.0065 GeV and work of other researchers.

New Generalized Morse-Like Potential for Studying the Atomic Interaction in Diatomic Molecules

In this study, we obtain the approximate analytical solutions of the radial Schrodinger equation for the New Generalized Morse-Like Potential in arbitrary dimensions by using the Nikiforov Uvarov Method. Energy eigenvalues and corresponding eigenfunction are obtain analytically. The rotational-vibrational energy eigenvalues for some diatomic molecules are computed with the aid of some spectroscopic parameters. The energy equation for some potentials such as Attarctive Radial and Deng-Fan potentials have also been obtained by varying some potential parameters. Our results excellently agree with the already existing literature.
