In this study, we investigate the traces and solutions of inverse nodal problems of discontinuous Sturm-Liouville operators with retarded argument and with a finite number of transmission conditions.
In this study, a formula for regularized sums of eigenvalues of a Sturm-Liouville problem with retarded argument at the point of discontinuity is obtained. Moreover, oscillation properties of the related problem is investigated.
In this work, using the well-known mean-value theorem (Lagrange's theorem) we obtain an inequality for n-th order differential equations with retarded argument. If the retarded argument vanishes then the inequality turns to an inequality for n-th order ordinary differential equations which plays a vital role in the proof of existence theorem for n-th order ordinary differential equations.
In this work, we consider not only a discontinuous boundary-value problem with retarded argument and four supplementary transmission conditions at the two points of discontinuities but also, eigenparameter-dependent boundary conditions and obtain asymptotic formulas for the eigenvalues and corresponding eigenfunctions.
In the present paper, we investigate some interesting properties including several special polynomials arising from Caputo-fractional derivative. From our investigation, we derive a lot of interesting identities of several special polynomials.
In this work we investigate the resolvent operator and completeness of eigenfunctions of a Sturm-Liouville problem with discontinuities at two points. The problem contains an eigenparameter in the one of boundary conditions. For operator-theoretic formulation of the considered problem we define an equivalent inner product in the Hilbert space and suitable self-adjoint lineer operator in it.
In this paper following the same methods in [M. Kadakal, O. Sh. Mukhtarov, Sturm-Liouville problems with discontinuities at two points, Comput. Math. Appl., 54 (2007) 1367-1379] we investigate discontinuous two-point boundary value problems with eigenparameter in the boundary conditions and with transmission conditions at the finitely many points of discontinuity. A self-adjoint linear operator A is defined in a suitable Hilbert space H such that the eigenvalues of such a problem coincide with those of A. We obtain asymptotic formulas for the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions. Also we show that the eigenfunctions of A are complete in H.
In this paper, by using the similar methods of [O. Sh. Mukhtarov and M. Kadakal, Some spectral properties of one Sturm-Liouville type problem with discontinuous weight, Siberian Mathematical Journal, 46 (2005) 681-694] we extend some spectral properties of regular Sturm-Liouville problems to those which consist of a Sturm-Liouville equation with discontinuous weight at two interior points together with spectral parameter-dependent boundary conditions. We give an operator-theoretic formulation for the considered problem and obtain asymptotic formulas for the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions.
In this work a Sturm-Liouville type problem with retarded argument which contains spectral parameter in the boundary conditions and with transmission conditions at the point of discontinuity are investigated. We obtained asymptotic formulas for the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions.
In this work a discontinuous boundary-value problem with retarded argument which contains spectral parameter in the transmission conditions at the point of discontinuity are investigated. We obtained asymptotic formulas for the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions.
In the present paper, we deal with a fourth-order boundary value problem problem with eigenparameter dependent boundary conditions and transmission conditions at a interior point. A self-adjoint linear operator A is defined in a suitable Hilbert space H such that the eigenvalues of such a problem coincide with those of A. Following Mukhtarov and his students methods [2,4,6] we obtain asymptotic formulae for its eigenvalues and fundamental solutions. Our applications possess a number of interesting properties for studying in boundary value problems which we state in this paper.
In this article, we consider the boundary-value problem of nonlinear fractional differential equation with p-Laplacian operator. By the properties of Green function and Schauder fixed point theorem, several existence and nonexistence results for positive solutions, in terms of two parameters are obtained. The uniqueness of positive solution on these parameters is also studied.
The aim of this study is to find asymptotic expressions of eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of a discontinuous boundary-value problem with retarded argument which contains a spectral parameter in the boundary condition. Applications of differential equations with retarded argument can be encountered in the theory of selfoscillatory systems, in the study of problems connected with combustion in rocket engines, in a number of problems in economics, biophysics, and many other fields. The problems in these areas can be solved reducing differential equations with retarded argument. In this study discontinuous boundary-value problem with retarded argument which contains a spectral parameter in the boundary condition were investigated and asymptotic formulas were obtained for eigenvalues and eigenfunctions for using areas which mentioned above
In this work, we derive numerous identities for multivariate q-Euler polynomials by using umbral calculus.
The purpose of this paper is to derive some applications of umbral calculus by using extended fermionic p-adic q-integral on Zp. From those applications, we derive some new interesting properties on the new family of Euler numbers and polynomials. That is, a systemic study of the class of Sheffer sequences in connection with generating function of the weighted Euler polynomials are given in the present paper.
In the present paper, the fundamental aim is to consider a p-adic continuous function for an odd prime to inside a p-adic q-analogue of the higher order modified Dedekind-type sums related to q-Genocchi polynomials with weight alpha by using fermionic p-adic invariant q-integral on Zp.
In this paper, we will deal with some new formulae for two product Genocchi polynomials together with both Euler polynomials and Bernoulli polynomials. We get some applications for Genocchi polynomials. Our applications possess a number of interesting properties to study in Theory of Analytic numbers which we express in the present paper.
