The manifestation of the band structure in the photon emission spectrum of the fast above-barrier oriented particle

The probability of emission of photons in non-dipole case by channeled particle is calculated. The emission of hard photons with an energy comparable to the energy of the incident channeled particle is examined. The calculation of the quasi-Bloch energy spectrum of the oriented fast charged particle entering the crystal at an angle substantially greater than the Lindhard angle is performed. The initial and final spectra of the channeled particle belonging to a different set of band wave functions corresponding to different energies are used. The processes of the photon generation by the quantum crystal-oriented particle entering into the crystal at an angle both greater and smaller than the Lindhard angle are considered on the equal footing. It is shown that the spectrum of hard photon emission consists of a set of the well-observed emission lines. The probability of the nondipole photon radiation by the channeled particle with the energy within a small solid angle oriented along the propagation direction of the channeling particle is shown to be equal to It has been shown that the nondipole processes of the radiation of hard photons by the channeled particles are well observed experimentally.

Metal hydrogen sulfide superconducting temperature

Éliashberg theory generalized to the case of the electron-phonon (EP) systems with the not constant density of electronic states, as well as to the case of the frequency dependent renormalization of both the electron mass and the chemical potential, is used to study hydrogen sulphide phase under pressure. The frequency and the temperature dependences of the electron mass renormalization ReZ , the density of electronic states , renormalized by the EP interaction , the spectral function of the electron-phonon interaction, obtained by calculation are used to calculate the electronic abnormal GF. The generalized Éliashberg equations with the variable density of electronic states are resolved for the hydrogen sulphide phase under pressure. The dependence of both the real and the imaginary part of the order parameter on the frequency in the phase is obtained. The results of the solution of the Eliashberg equations for the Im-3m (170 GPa), Im-3m (200 GPa), Im-3m (225 GPa) and R3m (120 GPa) hydrogen sulphide phases are presented. The value in the hydrogen sulfide phase at the pressure P = 225 GPa has been defined. The value for the hydrogen sulfide phase at the pressure P = 170 GPa has been predicted.

Metal hydrogen critical temperature at the pressure 500 GPa

Éliashberg theory, being generalized to the case of the electron-phonon (EP) systems with the not constant density of electronic states, as well as to the frequency behavior of the renormalization of both the electron mass and the chemical potential, is used to study the normal properties and of the metal hydrogen phase under pressure of P = 500 GPa. The phonon contribution to the anomalous electron Green's function (GF) is considered. The pairing is considered within the overall width of the electron band, and not only in a narrow layer at the Fermi surface. The frequency dependence of the electron mass renormalization ReZ , the density of electronic states , the spectral function of the electron-phonon interaction, obtained by calculation are used to calculate the electronic abnormal GF. The Éliashberg generalized equations with the variable density of electronic states are resolved. The dependence of both the real and the imaginary parts of the order parameter on the frequency in the phase is obtained. The value for the metal hydrogen phase at the pressure P = 500 GPa has been defined.

Metallic phase of hydrogen at the pressure 500GPa

The first-principle method of mathematical modeling was used to calculate the structural, electronic, phonon, and other characteristics of the normal metallic phase of hydrogen at a pressure of 500 GPa. It has been shown that metal hydrogen having a lattice symmetry I41 / AMD cell is a stable phase under a high pressure hydrostatic compression. The resulting structure is a locally stable one with respect to the phonon spectrum.

Quasi-two-dimensional metallic hydrogen inside di-phosphide at high pressure

The method of mathematical modeling was used for the calculation of the structural, electronic, phonon, and other characteristics of various normal phases of phosphorus hydrides with stoichiometry PHk. It was shown that the di-phosphine may form 2D lattice of the metallic hydrogen, stabilized by phosphorus atoms under high hydrostatic compressive pressure. The resulting structure with the elements of H-P-H is a locally stable one in the phonon spectrum (or metastable). The properties of di-phosphine with the properties of similar structures such as thesulphur hydrides were compared.

Causes of high-temperature superconductivity in the hydrogen sulfide electron-phonon system

The electron and phonon spectra, as well as the density of electron and phonon states of the stable orthorhombic structure of hydrogen sulfide (SH2) at pressures 100-180 GPa have been calculated. It is found that the set of parallel planes of hydrogen atoms is formed at pressure ~175 GPa as a result of structural changes in the unit cell of the crystal under pressure. There should be complete concentration of hydrogen atoms in these planes. As a result the electron properties of the system acquire a quasi-two-dimensional character. The features of in phase and antiphase oscillations of hydrogen atoms in these planes leading to two narrow high-energy peaks in the phonon density of states are investigated.

Annihilation of Relativistic Positrons in Single Crystal with production of One Photon

The energy and momentum conservation laws prohibit positron-electron annihilation in vacuum producing the single photon only. It can produce two photons in vacuum, or the process is possible with a participation of the third body. The situation is different in a single crystal with one of the leptons (e.g. positron) moving in the channeling (or in the quasi-channeling) mode when the transverse motion of a particle is bound or sufficiently uneven. It may increase sharply the probability of the single photon annihilation process.

Crystal excitations features in the photon emission spectrum of the quantum channeled particle

The processes of generation of phonons and electron excitations with quantum oriented particle in crystal are considered. Expressions are obtained for the probability of emission of phonons and plasmons with channeled particle. The theory of the processes of the crystal excitation with the channeled particle, accompanied by the simultaneous emission of a photon is developed. It is proved that all the specific features of the electron and phonon crystal excitation structure appear as components of radiation of the oriented fast charged particle. The photon emission of a quantum channeled particle, accompanied by a plasmon excitation in a crystal target is considered. It is taken into account that the plasmon energy in the crystal is of the same order with the depth of the potential well in which the channeled particle moves. A weak dispersion of the plasmons in the crystal is taken into account, which leads to the selection of the fixed plasmon energy. It is shown that fast charged particle in the rest frame emits photons with an energy equal to the energy difference between two quantized levels of transverse motion with the deduction of the net plasmon energy. The characteristics of photon-plasmon radiation are investigated.

How interband pairing increases the superconductive transition temperature

The possible strong electron-phonon coupling and the pairing within the full width of the electron band and not only in a narrow sheet near the Fermi surface are taken into account. It is found that the effect of pairing of electrons belonging to different bands is crucial to the appearance of high Tc in some two-band materials. The existence of another set of the two-band high temperature materials with transition temperature Tc, not yielding Tc in cuprates, is predicted.
