On equicontinuity of mappings with inverse moduli inequalities by prime ends of variable domains

The paper is devoted to the study of the boundary behavior of mappings. We consider mappings that satisfy inverse moduli inequalities of Poletskii type, under which the images of the domain under the mappings may change. It is proved that a classes of such mappings are equicontinuous with respect to prime ends of some domain if the majorant in the indicated modulus inequality is integrable.

On Montel theorem for mappings with inverse moduli inequalities

This paper is devoted to the study of mappings with finite distortion, in particular, mappings satisfying the inverse Poletskii inequality. We study the problem of equicontinuity of families of such mappings in a given domain. We establish that a family of open discrete mappings with the inverse Poletskii inequality, omitting at least one point, is equicontinuous if the majorant responsible for the distortion of the modulus of families of paths under the mapping is integrable over almost all concentric spheres centered at the given point. Since analytic functions with finite multiplicity satisfy the inverse Poletskii inequality, this result generalizes the well-known Montel theorem on the normality of families.

On Caratheodory prime ends extension for unclosed Orlicz-Sobolev classes

We study problems related to continuous boundary extension of mappings of Orlicz-Sobolev classes in terms of prime ends. The results we obtain concern the case when the mappings are open, discrete, but not closed (not preserving the boundary of a domain). These results generalize the well-known results of Caratheodory on boundary extension of conformal mappings.

An analogue of Koebe's theorem in metric spaces

This paper is devoted to the study of mappings in metric spaces. We investigate mappings satisfying inverse moduli inequalities. We show that under certain conditions on these mappings, their definition domains and the spaces in which they act, the image of a ball under the mappings contains a ball of fixed radius, which corresponds to the statement of the Koebe theorem on one quarter. As consequences, we obtain corresponding results in the Sobolev and Orlicz-Sobolev classes defined in a certain domain of a Riemannian surface or factor space by the group of fractional-linear mappings of the unit ball. We also give consequences for manifolds.

Carathéodory boundary extensions for generalized quasiregular mappings

The manuscript is devoted to the boundary behavior of mappings with bounded and finite distortion, which has been actively studied recently. We consider mappings of domains of the Euclidean space that satisfy the inverse Poletsky inequality with an integrable majorant, are open, and discrete. Assume that the image of the boundary of the original domain is finitely connected relative to the mapped domain, and the preimage of the boundary of the latter is nowhere a dense set. Then, under certain conditions on the geometry of these domains, it is proved that the specified mappings have a continuous boundary extension. The result is valid even in a more general form, when the majorant in the inverse Poletsky inequality is integrable over almost all concentric spheres centered at each point. In particular, the obtained results are valid for homeomorphisms as well as for open discrete closed mappings with the appropriate modulus condition.

On Caratheodory theorem for open discrete unclosed mappings

We study mappings satisfying the inverse Poletsky-type inequality in a domain of the Euclidean space. Such inequalities are well known and play an important role in the study of quasiconformal and quasiregular mappings. We consider the case when the mapped domain, generally speaking, is not locally connected on its boundary. At the same time, we consider the situation when the mapping is open and discrete, but may not preserve the boundary of the domain. In terms of prime ends, we obtain results on the equicontinuity of families of such mappings in the closure of the definition domain. As a consequence, we also obtain the corresponding statement for Orlicz-Sobolev classes.

On Koebe's theorem for mappings with integral constraints

We study mappings that satisfy the inverse modulus inequality of Poletsky type with respect to $p$-modulus. Given $n-1<p\leqslant n,$ we show that, the image of some ball contains a fixed ball under mappings mentioned above. This statement can be interpreted as the well-known analogue of Koebe's theorem for analytic functions. As a consequence, we obtain the openness and discreteness of the limit mapping in the class under study. The paper also studies mappings of the Orlicz-Sobolev classes, for which an analogue of the Koebe one-quarter theorem is obtained as a consequence of the main results

On boundary Hölder continuity of Sobolev and Orlicz-Sobolev classes

We investigate distortion estimates for mappings at boundary points of a domain. We consider mappings of the Sobolev and Orlicz-Sobolev classes and some other classes of mappings that do not preserve the boundary of a domain. For above mappings, we establish distortion estimates at boundary points. In particular, under certain conditions on the characteristics of the mappings, we show that they are Hölder continuous. In the manuscript we consider both the case of ``good'' boundaries and ``domains with prime ends''. We have obtained not only Hölder-type estimates, but also some more general ones under appropriate (more general) conditions on the characteristic.

On boundary non-preserving mappings with integral constraints

This manuscript is devoted to the study of mappings, satisfying the upper weighted Poletsky inequality. We study the case where the boundary of the domain may not be preserved under the mapping and, besides that, the majorant from the above inequality satisfies constraints of the integral-type. Under certain additional conditions on the definition domain and the corresponding cluster sets, we prove that families of above mappings are equicontinuous in the closure of this domain.

On boundary extension of unclosed Orlicz-Sobolev mappings

This paper is devoted to the study of the boundary behavior of Orlicz-Sobolev classes that may not preserve the boundary under mapping. Under certain conditions, we show that these mappings have a continuous extension to the boundary of definition domain.

On singularities of mappings with a finite length distortion

We study the possibility of a continuous extension of a class of mappings to an isolated point on the boundary of a domain. We show that if some characteristic of this mapping is integrable on almost all spheres in the neighborhood of at least one point of the corresponding cluster set, then this mapping has a continuous extension to the specified point. In particular, this assertion is true if the specified characteristic is simply Lebesgue integrable in the neighborhood of at least one limit point.

On uniformly lightness of ring mappings and convergence to a homeomorphism

A family of mappings is called uniformly light if the image of the continuum under these mappings cannot be contracted to a point under the sequence of mappings of the family. In this paper, we are interested in the problem of the uniform lightness of a family of homeomorphisms satisfying upper moduli inequalities. We have shown that a family of such homeomorphisms satisfies the above-mentioned condition of uniform lightness if the majorant participating in the modulus estimate defining the family is integrable over almost all spheres. Under the same conditions, we show that this family of homeomorphisms is uniformly open, i.e., their image contains a ball of fixed radius, independent of each mapping separately. As an application of the results obtained, we have proved the assertion about the uniform convergence of homeomorphisms to a homeomorphism.

On the lower bounds of $p$-modulus of families of paths and a finite connectedness

We study the problem of the lower bounds of the modulus of families of paths of order $p,$ $p>n-1,$ and their connection with the geometry of domains containing the specified families. Among other things, we have proved an analogue of Näkki's theorem on the positivity of the $p$-module of families of paths joining a pair of continua in the given domain. The geometry of domains with a strongly accessible boundary in the sense of the $p$-modulus of families of paths was also studied. We show that domains with a $p$-strongly accessible boundary with respect to a $p$-modulus, $p>n-1,$ are are finitely connected at their boundary. The mentioned result generalizes Näkki's result, which was proved for uniform domains in the case of a conformal modulus.

On lower distance estimates of mappings in metric spaces

We consider mappings satisfying an upper bound for the distortion of families of curves. We establish lower bounds for the distortion of distances under such mappings. As applications, we obtain theorems on the discreteness of the limit mapping of a sequence of mappings converging locally uniformly. We separately consider cases when mappings are defined in Euclidean $n$-dimensional space and in a metric space.

On the prime ends extension of unclosed inverse mappings

We consider mappings that distort the modulus of families of paths in the opposite direction in the manner of Poletsky's inequality. Here we study the case when the mappings are not closed, in particular, they do not preserve the boundary of the domain under the mapping. Under certain conditions, we obtain results on the continuous boundary extension of such mappings in the sense of prime ends. In addition, we obtain corresponding results on the equicontinuity of families of such mappings in terms of prime ends.

On convergence of homeomorphisms with inverse modulus inequality

We have studied homeomorphisms that satisfy the Poletsky-type inverse inequality in the domain of the Euclidean space. It is proved that the uniform limit of the family of such homeomorphisms is either a homeomorphism into the Euclidean space, or a constant in the extended Euclidean space.

An analogue of Koebe's theorem and the openness of a limit map in one class

We study mappings that satisfy the inverse modulus inequality of Poletsky type in a fixed domain. It is shown that, under some additional restrictions, the image of a ball under such mappings contains a fixed ball uniformly over the class. This statement can be interpreted as the well-known analogue of Koebe's theorem for analytic functions. As an application of the obtained result, we show that, if a sequence of mappings belonging to the specified class converges locally uniformly, then the limit mapping is open.

On unclosed mappings with Poletsky inequality

The manuscript is devoted to the boundary behavior of mappings with bounded and finite distortion. We consider mappings of domains of the Euclidean space that satisfy weighted Poletsky inequality. Assume that, the definition domain is finitely connected on its boundary and, in addition, on the set of all points which are pre-images of the cluster set of this boundary. Then the specified mappings have a continuous boundary extension provided that the majorant in the Poletsky inequality satisfies some integral divergence condition, or has a finite mean oscillation at every boundary point.
