Quantum Mixing for Schrödinger eigenfunctions in Benjamini-Schramm limit

Let $\{X_n\}_{n\in\mathbb{N}}$ be a sequence of compact hyperbolic surfaces which is uniformly discrete and Benjamini-Schramm converges to $\mathbb{H}$ and let $\{V_n\}_{n\in\mathbb{N}}$ be a sequence of potentials such that the $L^2$-norm of $V_n$ is $o(1)$ with respect to the volume of $X_n$. We prove quantum mixing for the eigenfunctions of $-Δ_{X_n}+V_n$ in any sufficiently large spectral window $I$ for bounded observables which are polynomial mixing with respect to the geodesic flow. Examples of such sequences of potentials include point-cloud potentials just below the thermodynamic limit, Hartree potentials for dilute Bose gases in hyperbolic space, and sequences induced by bounded potentials in $L^p(\mathbb{H})$ for some $p>0$. This is the first result of this kind beyond the locally symmetric setting. The proof combines classical geodesic flow mixing on $T^1X_n$, replacing Nevo's ergodic theorem, with the Duhamel formula and recently developed geometric wave-kernel estimates by the first author.

Quantitative Fourier decay for Patterson-Sullivan measures of dimension larger than $1/2$

We give an elementary proof of power Fourier decay for Patterson-Sullivan measures associated to convex co-compact Schottky groups of dimension $δ>\frac12$, obtaining the explicit decay exponent $\frac{δ(2δ- 1)}{(2δ+ 1)(3 - δ)}$. The proof replaces the technical machinery used in previous works, such as sum-product estimates, renewal theory, Dolgopyat methods, and $L^2$ flattening, by elementary oscillatory integral estimates, hyperbolic geometry, and a duality argument based on the transpose Schottky group.

Unique ergodicity for singular holomorphic foliations of $\mathbb{P}^3(\mathbb{C})$ with an invariant plane

We prove a unique ergodicity theorem for singular holomorphic foliations of $\mathbb{P}^3(\mathbb{C})$ with hyperbolic singularities and with an invariant plane with no foliation cycle, in analogy with a result of Dinh-Sibony concerning unique ergodicity for foliations of $\mathbb{P}^2(\mathbb{C})$ with an invariant line. The proof is dynamical in nature and adapts the work of Deroin-Kleptsyn to a singular context, using the fundamental integrability estimate of Nguyên.

Absolutely continuous Furstenberg measures for finitely-supported random walks

In this note, we generalise a Bourgain's construction of finitely-supported symmetric measures whose Furstenberg measure has a smooth density from the case of $\mathrm{SL}_2(\mathbb{R})$ to that of a general simple Lie group. The proof is the same as Bourgain's, except that the use of Fourier series is replaced by harmonic analysis on a maximal compact subgroup.

Inexistence de pavages mesurables invariants par un réseau dans un espace homogène d'un groupe de Lie simple

We prove that an homogeneous space of an almost simple Lie group does not have any measurable tiling invariant by a lattice of the Lie group. This refines the Howe-Moore ergodicity theorem.

We investigate the construction of real analytic Levi-flat hypersurfaces in K3 surfaces. By taking images of real hyperplanes, one can construct such hypersurfaces in two-dimensional complex tori. We show that "almost every" K3 surfaces contains infinitely many Levi-flat hypersurfaces of this type. The proof relies mainly on a recent construction of Koike and Uehara, ideas of Verbitsky on ergodic complex structures, as well as an argument due to Ghys in the context of the study of the topology of generic leaves.
