Bracket ideals and Hilbert polynomial of filiform Lie algebras

For a complex finite-dimensional filiform Lie algebra $\mathfrak g$, we first study the bifiltration given by the bracket ideals $[C^k\mathfrak g,C^\ell\mathfrak g]$ and then the behavior of its associated bivariate Hilbert polynomial. This behavior depends in particular on two numerical invariants that measure, on one hand, certain properties of the centralizers in $\mathfrak g$ of the ideals in the lower central sequence and, on the other hand, the dimension of the largest abelian ideal that appears in the lower central series. We give examples proving that the Hilbert polynomial can distinguish isomorphism classes of filiform Lie algebras that cannot be distinguished by the two aforementioned invariants.

Filiform Lie algebras with low derived length

We construct, for any integer n greater than or equal to 5, a family of complex filiform Lie algebras with derived length at most 3 and dimension n. We also give examples of n-dimensional filiform Lie algebras with derived length greater than 3.

Gröbner $δ$-bases and Gröbner bases for differential operators

This paper deals with the notion of Gröbner $δ$-base for some rings of linear differential operators by adapting the works of W. Trinks, A. Assi, M. Insa and F. Pauer. We compare this notion with the one of Gröbner base for such rings. As an application, and following a previous work of A. Assi, we give some results on finiteness and on flatness of finitely generated left modules over these rings.

On some $\cal D$-modules in dimension 2

We prove a duality formula for two ${\cal D}$-modules arising from logarithmic derivations w.r.t. a plane curve. As an application we give a differential proof of a logarithmic comparison theorem of Calderón-Mond-Narváez-Castro.
