Perturbations and greybody bounds of Euler-Heisenberg black holes surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter

We investigate the propagation of massless fields with spins $s=0$, $s=1$, and $s=1/2$ in the spacetime of an Euler-Heisenberg (EH) black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter (PFDM). This background incorporates both the nonlinear electrodynamic correction associated with the EH effective theory and the logarithmic contribution induced by the surrounding dark matter distribution. After deriving the corresponding Schrödinger-like radial equations, we construct the effective potentials for scalar, electromagnetic, and Dirac perturbations and analyze how they are modified by the black hole charge, the EH parameter, and the PFDM parameter. The greybody factors are estimated through the rigorous Boonserm-Visser lower-bound method, and the associated partial absorption cross sections are obtained for different spin sectors using these bounds. Our results show that the nonlinear electrodynamic and dark matter parameters significantly deform the effective potential barrier, leading to potentially distinguishable changes in the transmission probabilities and absorption spectra within the model. In particular, the greybody lower bounds increase monotonically with the frequency and approach the high-frequency limit, while their low-frequency behavior is strongly affected by the geometry and by the spin of the perturbing field. Moreover, we utilize the greybody lower bound to calculate the energy emission rate. Finally, we make comparisons with the Schwarzschild, Reissner-Nordström, and pure EH limits, showing that the combined EH+PFDM background produces distinguishable corrections to black-hole scattering within the model. These results highlight greybody bounds as sensitive diagnostic probes of nonlinear electrodynamic effects and dark matter halos around compact objects.

Thermodynamic and Radiative Properties of Euler-Heisenberg AdS Black Holes Surrounded by Quintessence and Dark Matter with a Cloud of Strings

We investigate the thermodynamics, criticality, and selected radiative and optical properties of an Euler-Heisenberg AdS black hole surrounded by quintessence, perfect fluid dark matter, and a cloud of strings. Within the extended phase-space formalism, we derive the thermodynamic quantities, verify the modified first law and Smarr relation, and analyze the corresponding equation of state and critical behavior. We show that the Euler--Heisenberg coupling and the surrounding matter fields substantially modify the temperature profile, the stability structure, and the location of the critical point. We also examine the sparsity of Hawking radiation, together with the photon sphere, black hole shadow, and the associated geometric-optics emission rate.

Hawking Temperature, Sparsity and Energy Emission Rate of Dark Matter Halo Regular Black Holes

In this paper, we investigate the thermodynamic and radiative properties of a regular black hole sourced by a dark matter halo described by the Einasto density profile. The closed-form expressions for the Hawking temperature, specific heat capacity, sparsity parameter of Hawking flux, and the spectral energy emission rate were obtained. All these are examined as a function of the characteristic scale parameter $α$ of the dark matter distribution and compared with the standard Schwarzschild results. We show that the presence of a dark matter halo suppresses both the Hawking temperature and energy emission rate relative to the standard black hole result. Crucially, the specific heat capacity can be positive for a finite range of horizon radii, signaling a thermodynamically stable phase; the boundary of this stable region defines a Davies-type phase transition. The sparsity parameter is higher than in the standard black hole, indicating that the dark matter environment makes the Hawking flux even more intermittent.

Strong-field signatures of a regular black hole in an Einasto dark matter halo

We investigate the strong-field phenomenology of a static and spherically symmetric regular black hole supported by an Einasto dark matter (DM) distribution. For the exponential Einasto profile, the geometry is controlled by a single dimensionless halo parameter $a$, and we restrict the analysis to the black hole branch $0<a\leq a_{\rm crit}\simeq0.388$. We study both timelike and null geodesics, including the effective potential, circular orbits, ISCO radius, orbital period, periapsis advance, photon sphere, shadow radius, effective photon force, and representative photon trajectories. We also construct image-plane intensity profiles and face-on thin-disk images in a static-emitter approximation. The analysis reveals a hierarchy of strong-field sensitivity. Timelike observables remain largely degenerate with the Schwarzschild limit along most of the black hole branch, while the photon sphere scale, shadow diameter, and residual optical structures provide the most sensitive response to the Einasto halo near the critical black hole regime. A comparison with the EHT shadow-scale measurements shows that the full branch is consistent with Sgr A* at the $1σ$ level, whereas M87* mildly disfavors values very close to criticality. These results indicate that the most promising signatures of the Einasto halo are not expected from ordinary timelike orbital quantities, but from near-critical photon propagation and its imprint on the optical appearance.

Shadow, Quasinormal Modes, Sparsity, and Energy Emission Rate of Euler-Heisenberg Black Hole Surrounded by Perfect Fluid Dark Matter

In this work, we investigate the optical, dynamical, and radiative properties of an Euler--Heisenberg black hole immersed in a perfect fluid dark matter (PFDM) background. We analyze the photon sphere and shadow, the scalar quasinormal-mode spectrum in the eikonal regime, the grey-body factor through the eikonal QNM correspondence, the sparsity of Hawking radiation, and the corresponding energy emission rate. Our results show that both the black-hole charge and the PFDM parameter significantly affect the photon sphere, shadow size, quasinormal frequencies, Hawking temperature, and emission profile, whereas the Euler--Heisenberg correction is typically subleading in the parameter range explored, although it may become more visible in strong-charge regimes for selected observables. Overall, the dark-matter environment provides the dominant imprint on the phenomenology of the system, indicating that shadow and ringdown-related quantities may serve as useful probes of PFDM effects within the approximations considered.

Black holes in general relativity coupled with NEDs surrounded by PFDM: thermodynamics, epicyclic oscillations, QPOs, and shadow

In this work, we investigate the thermodynamics and motion of neutral test particles around a regular black hole immersed in a perfect fluid dark matter environment. We begin by examining the horizon structure and key thermodynamic properties, with particular emphasis on quantities such as the Hawking temperature and the specific heat capacity. These aspects provide important insight into the stability and physical behavior of the black hole system. We then proceed to analyze the dynamics of neutral test particles using the Hamiltonian formalism, through which we derive the effective potential governing particle motion. Using the effective potential, we further study quasiperiodic oscillations by determining the associated epicyclic frequencies and comparing them with available observational data. Using the observed QPO data of XTE J1550-564, GRO J1655-40, GRS 1915+105, and M82 X-1, we perform a Markov Chain Monte Carlo analysis to constrain the black hole mass, the magnetic charge parameter, the PFDM parameter, and the characteristic orbital radius. Finally, we investigate the black hole shadow and demonstrate how various geometric parameters influence its optical appearance. This analysis highlights the potential observational signatures of such black holes and their surrounding dark matter environment.

Charged Black Holes in KR-gravity Surrounded by Perfect Fluid Dark Matter

In this work, we systematically investigate the null geodesics of electrically charged black holes in a gravitational framework that incorporates Lorentz violation induced by a background Kalb-Ramond (KR) field, in the presence of perfect-fluid dark matter. The properties of the photon sphere, black hole shadow, and photon trajectories are analyzed in detail. Furthermore, to explore the combined effects of Lorentz violation and dark matter on the motion of neutral test particles, we examine the innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO) in this spacetime. In addition, the epicyclic frequencies of test particles are studied to gain further insight into the dynamical behavior of particle motion around these black holes. The main analytical results are complemented by a phenomenological QPO analysis, a thermodynamic investigation, and a discussion of the sparsity of Hawking radiation, allowing us to connect optical, dynamical, and thermodynamic signatures within a single framework.

Astrophysical Signatures of Einstein-Skyrme Anti-de Sitter Black Holes: Epicyclic Frequencies and QPO Constraints

We study the geodesic motion and epicyclic oscillations of massive test particles around a static, spherically symmetric black hole (BH) solution of the Einstein--Skyrme (ES) theory in Anti-de Sitter (AdS) spacetime. The lapse function of this BH depends on the Skyrme coupling $η$, a charge-like parameter $Q$ inherited from the Skyrme term, and the cosmological constant $Λ<0$. We first map out the horizon structure and identify three regimes-non-extremal BH (NEBH), extremal BH (EBH), and naked BH (NBH)-showing that the NEBH $\to$ EBH $\to$ NBH transition is governed by $Q$ rather than $η$, which enters $f(r)$ only as a constant shift. We then derive the effective potential (EP), locate the innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO), and compute the radiative efficiency, finding that $\mathcal{E}_{\rm ISCO}>1$ in AdS renders the standard Novikov-Thorne formula negative. The corrected radial epicyclic frequency $Ω_r$ reveals a distinctive AdS signature: $ν_r$ grows at large $r$ and overtakes the orbital frequency $ν_ϕ$, causing the periastron precession frequency $ν_p = ν_φ- ν_r$ to change sign-a feature absent in asymptotically flat geometries. Adopting the relativistic precession (RP) model for quasi-periodic oscillations (QPOs), we perform a Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) analysis using twin-peak QPO data from XTE~J1550-564, GRO~J1655-40, Sgr~A$^*$, and M82~X-1. The posteriors converge to $Q\approx 0.6$ across all sources, with orbital radii near $r\approx 4.2\,M$ and masses consistent with independent estimates, demonstrating that the ES-AdS BH accommodates the observed frequency pairs within physically motivated parameter ranges.

Spin-($0$, $1$, $\frac{1}{2}$) Field Perturbations, Quasinormal Modes, Overtones, Greybody Factors and Strong Cosmic Censorship of Einstein-Skyrme Black Holes

We carry out a multi-spin perturbation-theory study of the four-dimensional Einstein-Skyrme (ES) anti-de Sitter (AdS) black hole (BH), whose lapse $f(r)=1-8πK-2M/r+4πKλ/r^{2}$ inherits two couplings from the hadronic model -- the pion combination $K=F_π^{2}/4$ and the Skyrme coupling $e$ -- with $Kλ=1/e^{2}$ pinned by the theory rather than being a free integration constant. After deriving the Klein-Gordon, Maxwell and Dirac effective potentials on this background, we compute the quasinormal modes (QNMs) with the sixth-order WKB formula and cross-check them against the thirteenth-order Padé-improved expansion and the eikonal limit set by the unstable photon sphere. The first overtone $(n=1)$ of the scalar and electromagnetic channels reveals a mild Konoplya-Zhidenko anomaly: the ratio $|\mathrm{Im}\,ω_{1}|/|\mathrm{Im}\,ω_{0}|$ drifts monotonically from $2.42$ to $2.54$, sitting noticeably below the Schwarzschild value near $3$. The dominant scalar mode is independently reproduced to better than $0.2\%$ by a time-domain Prony fit. Greybody factors for all three spins follow the ordering $T_{\rm EM}<T_{\rm scalar}<T_{\rm Dirac}$. Testing strong cosmic censorship at the Cauchy horizon, we find the Christodoulou parameter $β\lesssim 4\times 10^{-3}$ across the admissible $(K,e)$ window -- more than two orders of magnitude below the threshold $1/2$ -- with the margin protected by the theory itself.

Thermodynamics and orbital structure of anti-de Sitter black holes in Palatini-inspired nonlinear electrodynamics

We construct a consistent anti-de Sitter completion of the static and spherically symmetric black-hole solution sourced by the Palatini-inspired nonlinear electrodynamics \(Y^n\) model. Starting from the Einstein--Hilbert action with a negative cosmological constant and the first-order PINLED sector, we derive the full set of field equations and show that the nonlinear electromagnetic solution preserves its original parametric structure, while the lapse function acquires the standard AdS contribution. We then analyze the horizon structure, Hawking temperature, extended phase-space thermodynamics, and the associated equation of state. In addition, we investigate null and timelike geodesics, with emphasis on the effective potentials, photon sphere, shadow radius for a static observer at finite distance, and innermost stable circular orbit. The resulting framework furnishes the exact AdS extension of the asymptotically flat PINLED black hole and provides a coherent basis for numerical and phenomenological studies of its thermodynamic, optical, and orbital properties.

Shadow, Sparsity of Radiation and Energy Emission Rate in Skyrmion Black Holes

We examine several observable optical properties of a Skyrmion black hole (BH), focusing on the photon sphere, BH shadow, and photon trajectories. The Skyrme term, along with other geometric parameters of the spacetime, determines the photon sphere location and shapes the resulting BH shadow. Parameter variations produce observable departures from standard BH geometries, offering potential signatures of nonlinear field effects. We also analyze the sparsity of Hawking radiation and the associated energy emission spectra, showing how these quantities respond to the Skyrme coupling and background parameters. Our findings illuminate the connection between nonlinear field contributions and BH optics, with implications for observational and theoretical studies of modified gravity scenarios.

Charged Black Holes in Bumblebee gravity with Global Monopole: Thermodynamics and Shadow

In this paper, we perform a detailed study of the thermodynamic properties of a charged black hole in bumblebee gravity in the presence of a global monopole. We also analyze the optical characteristics of this black hole solution, highlighting the influence of Lorentz symmetry violation and the global monopole on the black hole shadow. Furthermore, we examine the trajectories of both photons and test particles in this spacetime, showing how the geometric parameters alter their paths. Moreover, we study the dynamics of neutral test particles, with particular attention to the location of the innermost stable circular orbits (ISCOs). Finally, we investigate massless scalar perturbations and derive bounds on the greybody factors, illustrating how the black hole's geometric parameters affect field propagation, energy emission, and radiation sparsity in this background.

Plummer Dark Matter Black Hole with Topological Defects: Shadow, Greybody Factors, Quasinormal Modes, and Thermodynamics

We construct a static, spherically symmetric black hole (BH) solution embedded in a cored Plummer dark matter (DM) halo and a Letelier cloud of strings (CoS). Starting from the Plummer-Schwarzschild metric of Senjaya et al.~\cite{Senjaya2026}, we incorporate the string-cloud tension parameter $α$ into the lapse function, obtaining $A(r) = h_{\rm Plummer}(r) - α$. The resulting spacetime admits a single, non-degenerate event horizon (EH) for $α< 1$ and a naked singularity for $α\ge 1$. We determine the photon sphere (PS) and BH shadow radii, compute the weak deflection angle via the Gauss-Bonnet theorem (GBT), and analyze the innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO). Scalar perturbations are studied through the effective potential, greybody factor (GF) bounds obtained from the Boonserm-Visser method, the Hawking emission spectrum, and quasinormal mode (QNM) frequencies computed with the WKB approximation. The thermodynamic analysis covers the Hawking temperature, Bekenstein-Hawking entropy, heat capacity, and Gibbs free energy; the heat capacity is found to be strictly negative for all parameter values, confirming the absence of any Davies-type phase transition. A consistent hierarchy emerges across all six analyses: the CoS tension $α$ governs the leading-order modifications to every observable, while the Plummer halo density $ρ_0$ provides a subdominant, additive correction.

Thermodynamic Analysis of Charged AdS Black Holes with Cloud of Strings in Einstein-Bumblebee Gravity via Tsallis Entropy

We investigate the thermodynamic properties of charged anti-de Sitter black holes surrounded by a cloud of strings in bumblebee gravity. In this framework, the cloud-of-strings parameter $α$ and the Lorentz-violating parameter $\ell$ modify the horizon structure, the Hawking temperature, the free energies, the specific heat, and the critical behavior in the extended phase-space description. We derive the corresponding equation of state and show that the system exhibits a small--large black-hole phase transition of Van der Waals type. In particular, the critical quantities are deformed by both the cloud of strings and the bumblebee background, while the universal ratio is explicitly altered by Lorentz symmetry breaking. We also examine the Joule--Thomson expansion and analyze the associated inversion and isenthalpic curves, showing how the deformation parameters shift the boundary between heating and cooling regions. In addition, we extend the thermodynamic analysis to a Tsallis entropy-based framework and show that the non-extensive parameter $δ$ significantly changes the temperature profile, stability windows, critical volume, free energies, and sparsity of Hawking radiation. Our results reveal that the combined effects of the string cloud, Lorentz violation, and non-extensive entropy lead to a substantially richer thermodynamic structure than that of the standard Reissner--Nordström--AdS black hole.

Observational imprints and quasi-Periodic oscillations of magnetically charged anti-de Sitter black holes

In this work, we investigate observable signatures of a magnetically charged Anti-de Sitter black hole in string-inspired Euler-Heisenberg theory. We analyze photon trajectories, the photon sphere, and the resulting black hole shadow. We derive the photon sphere and shadow radii and show that both deviate from the Schwarzschild and Schwarzschild-AdS cases. In particular, the radii decrease monotonically as the magnetic charge parameter $Q_m$ increases, indicating that magnetic charge modifies light propagation near the black hole. We also study neutral and charged particle motion and compute the corresponding epicyclic frequencies. Using the effective potential method, we obtain the specific energy and angular momentum for stable circular orbits and determine the innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO). The presence of $Q_m$ shifts the ISCO radius and alters the orbital structure. The radial, vertical, and orbital frequencies show clear deviations from the Schwarzschild case. Finally, we confront the model with twin-peak quasi-periodic oscillation (QPO) data from stellar-mass, intermediate-mass, and supermassive black hole candidates. A two-dimensional Delta chi-square analysis in the ($r$, $Q_m$) space shows that the best fit corresponds to $Q_m=0$, although finite values remain allowed within confidence levels. At the 1 sigma level, we obtain an upper bound $Q_m/M$ less than about 0.2. These results indicate that while magnetic charge produces measurable theoretical deviations, current QPO data place only moderate constraints on its magnitude.

Screened Simpson-Visser Black Holes with Asymptotically de-Sitter Core

In this work, we introduce a screened Simpson-Visser regular solution and perform a comprehensive study of its physical and observational properties. We begin by analyzing the thermodynamic behavior of the black hole, including detailed investigations of the Hawking temperature, Gibbs free energy, and specific heat, which provide insights into its stability and phase structure. Next, we examine the geodesic structure of the spacetime, considering both massless (photon) and massive (timelike) particles. In particular, we study the photon sphere, the corresponding black hole shadow, and the innermost stable circular orbits (ISCO), which are crucial for understanding the motion of matter and light around the black hole. Furthermore, we explore the black hole's energy-emission rate radiation, highlighting the effects of the modified geometry on observational signatures. Finally, we investigate the topological aspects of the black hole, analyzing both the thermodynamic topology and the photon sphere's topological properties. Our analysis demonstrates the intricate interplay between the spacetime geometry, geodesic motion, and black hole thermodynamics, offering a deeper understanding of this class of regular black holes and their potential observational consequences.

Dyonic ModMax Black Holes in Kalb-Ramond gravity with a Cloud of Strings as Source

We investigate the geodesic structure, shadow, thermodynamics, and Hawking radiation from a dyonic ModMax black hole in Kalb-Ramond gravity with a cloud of strings. The combined presence of ModMax nonlinear electrodynamics, the Lorentz-violating Kalb-Ramond background, and the string cloud breaks asymptotic flatness and introduces a global conical deficit that modifies all observables through a single geometric prefactor. We derive analytic expressions for the photon sphere, critical impact parameter, and shadow radius, and show that the shadow size depends on both the non-flat asymptotics and the ModMax screening of the dyonic charge. For massive test particles, we determine the innermost stable circular orbit and the accretion efficiency as functions of all model parameters. We also establish the first law of black hole thermodynamics and the generalized Smarr relation for this solution, identify a Hawking-Page-type phase transition in the specific heat, and compute the spectral energy emission rate, which we show is directly governed by the shadow radius in the geometric-optics limit. Our results demonstrate that the interplay of these three ingredients produces a phenomenology observationally distinguishable from standard Reissner-Nordström black holes.

Thermodynamics and Optical Properties of Charged Black Holes in Bumblebee gravity Sourced by a Cloud of Strings

In theories where the Lorentz symmetry of gravity is spontaneously broken, a non-minimally coupled bumblebee vector field acquires a nonzero vacuum expectation value, leading to modifications of standard General Relativity (GR). In this work, we investigate exact solutions describing static and spherically symmetric charged black holes surrounded by a cloud of strings within the framework of bumblebee gravity. We begin by analyzing the thermodynamic properties of these black hole solutions, including their mass, temperature, and entropy, highlighting how Lorentz-violating effects alter standard results. Next, we examine the optical properties of the spacetime, focusing on the photon sphere, the resulting black hole shadow, and the deflection of light, thereby providing potential observational signatures of Lorentz violation. Finally, we explore the impact of Lorentz-violating parameters on classical gravitational tests within the Solar System, such as advance of perihelion precession, in order to set observational constraints. Our analysis provides a comprehensive investigation of the interplay between Lorentz violation, black hole physics, and cloud of strings, offering a framework to probe new physics beyond GR.
