Topological Effects With Inverse Quadratic Yukawa Plus Inverse Square Potential on Eigenvalue Solutions

In this analysis, we study the non-relativistic Schrodinger wave equation under the influence of quantum flux field with interactions potential in the background of a point-like global monopole (PGM). In fact, we consider an inverse quadratic Yukawa plus inverse square potential and derive the radial equation employing the Greene-Aldrich approximation scheme in the centrifugal term. We determine the approximate eigenvalue solution using the parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov method and analyze the result. Afterwards, we derive the radial wave equation using the same potential employing a power series expansion method in the exponential potential and solve it analytically. We show that the energy eigenvalues are shifted by the topological defects of a point-like global monopole compared to the flat space result. In addition, we see that the energy eigenvalues depend on the quantum flux field that shows an analogue to the Aharonov-Bohm effect

Point-like defect on Schrödinger particles under flux field with harmonic oscillator plus Mie-type potential: application to molecular potentials

In this analysis, we study the quantum motions of a non-relativistic particle confined by the Aharonov-Bohm (AB) flux field with harmonic oscillator plus Mie-type potential in a point-like defect. We determine the eigenvalue solution of the particles analytically and discuss the effects of the topological defect and flux field with this potential. This eigenvalue solution is then used in some diatomic molecular potential models (harmonic oscillator plus Kratzer, modified Kratzer and attractive Coulomb potentials) and presented as the eigenvalue solutions. Afterwards, we consider a general potential form (superposition of pseudoharmonic plus Cornell-type potential) in the quantum system and analyse the effects of various factors on the eigenvalue solution. It is shown that the eigenvalue solutions are modified by the topological defect of a point-like global monopole and flux field compared to the results obtained in the flat space

Topological Effects on Non-Relativistic Eigenvalue Solutions Under AB-Flux Field with Pseudoharmonic- and Mie-type Potentials

In this paper, we investigate the quantum dynamics of a non-relativistic particle confined by the Aharonov-Bohm quantum flux field with pseudoharmonic-type potential in the background of topological defect produced by a point-like global monopole. We solve the radial Schrödinger equation analytically and determine the exact eigenvalue solution of the quantum system. Afterwards, we consider a Mie-type potential in the quantum system and solve the radial equation analytically and obtain the eigenvalue solution. We analyze the effects of the topological defect and the quantum flux with these potentials on the energy eigenvalue and wave function of the non-relativistic particles. In fact, it is shown that the energy levels and wave functions are influenced by the topological defect shifted the result compared to the flat space results. In addition, the quantum flux field also shifted the eigenvalue solutions and an analogue of the Aharonov-Bohm effect for bound-states is observed. Finally, we utilize these eigenvalue solutions to some known diatomic molecular potential models and presented the energy eigenvalue and wave function

Effects of Lorentz Symmetry Breaking Environment on Generalized Relativistic Quantum Oscillator Field

In this paper, we study the generalized Klein-Gordon oscillator equation under the effects of the violation of Lorentz Symmetry defined by a tensor field $(K_F)_{μναβ}$ out of the Standard Model Extension (SME). We consider a possible scenario of the Lorentz-Violating effects with a Cornell-type electric field and a linear magnetic field that contributes a harmonic-type central potential in the relativistic quantum motions of scalar oscillator fields. The bound-states solutions of the wave equation using the parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov method by considering a Coulomb and Cornell-type potential form functions are obtained. We see that the eigenvalue solutions get modified by the Lorentz symmetry-breaking effects in comparison to the Landau levels (without Lorentz-Violation effects in flat space)

Klein-Gordon Oscillator with Scalar and Vector Potentials in Topologically Charged Ellis-Bronnikov type Wormhole

In this work, we study the Klein-Gordon oscillator with equal scalar and vector potentials in a topologically charged Ellis-Bronnikov wormhole space-time background. The behaviour of a relativistic oscillator field is studied with a position-dependent mass via transformation $M^{2}\rightarrow (M+S(x))^{2}$ and vector potential through a minimal substitution in the wave equation. Simplifying the Klein-Gordon oscillator equation for three different types of potential, such as linear confining, Coulomb-type, and Cornell-type potential and we arrive at a second-order differential equation known as the biconfluent Heun (BCH) equation and the corresponding confluent Heun function. Finally, we solve the wave equation by the Frobenius method as a power series expansion around the origin and obtain the energy levels and the wave function.

Non-Relativistic Particle under the Influence of Aharonov-Bohm Flux Field Subject to Physical Potentials and the Nikiforov-Uvarov Method

In this work, the non-relativistic wave equation via the Schrödinger wave equation under the influence of the Aharonov-Bohm flux field Subject to physical potentials of various kinds is investigated. These potentials are modified Coulomb potential, modified harmonic oscillator potential, the Kratzer-Feus potential, and the Mie-type potential which have wide applications in different branches of physics and chemistry. We solve the Schrodinger wave equation using the Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method and obtain the energy profiles and the wave function of the non-relativistic particle, and analyze the effects of potential and the quantum flux on them. We show that each non-relativistic energy level gets modified in comparison to the known results obtained in the literature.

Relativistic Motions of Spin-Zero Quantum Oscillator Field in a Global Monopole Space-Time with External Potential and AB-effect

In this paper, We analyze a spin-zero relativistic quantum oscillator in the presence of the Aharonov-Bohm (AB) magnetic flux in a space-time background produced by a point-like global monopole (PGM). Afterward, we introduce a static Coulomb-type scalar potential and subsequently with the same type of vector potential in the quantum system. We solve the generalized Klein-Gordon oscillator analytically for different functions (e.g. Coulomb- and Cornell-type functions) and obtain the bound-states solutions in each case. We discuss the effects of topological defects associated with the scalar curvature of the space-time and the Coulomb-type external potentials on the energy profiles and the wave function of these oscillator fields. Furthermore, we show that the obtained energy eigenvalues depend on the magnetic quantum flux which gives rise to the gravitational analog of the Aharonov-Bohm (AB) effect

Effects of linear Central potential induced by Lorentz symmetry breaking on a generalized Klein-Gordon Oscillator

We investigate the generalized Klein-Gordon oscillator under the Lorentz symmetry breaking effects where, a linear electric and constant magnetic field is considered and analyze its effects on the relativistic quantum oscillator. Furthermore, the behavior of the quantum oscillator in the presence of a Cornell-type scalar potential is analyzed and the solution of the bound state is obtained. We see that the analytical solution to the generalized Klein-Gordon oscillator can be achieved and the angular frequency of the oscillator depends on the quantum numbers of the system

Effects of Lorentz Symmetry Violation on a Relativistic Scalar Particle in Quantum Systems

In this paper, the relativistic quantum dynamics of a scalar particle under the effect of Lorentz symmetry violation determined by a tensor $(K_{F})_{μ\,ν\,α\,β}$ out of the Standard Model Extension is investigated. We see that the bound-state solution of the modified Klein-Gordon equation can be obtained, and the spectrum of energy and the wave function depends on the Lorentz symmetry breaking parameters

Type III Spacetime with Closed Timelike Curves

We present a cyclic symmetric space-time, admitting closed time-like curves (CTCs) which appear after a certain instant of time, i. e., a time-machine space-time. These closed time-like curves evolve from an initial spacelike hypersurface on the plane $z$=constant in a causally well-behaved manner. The space-time discussed here is free from curvature singularities and a 4D generalization of the Misner space in curved space-time. The matter field is of pure radiation with a negative cosmological constant

Comment on "An axially symmetric spacetime with causality violation [Phys. Scr. 96 (07), 075208 (2021)], arXiv:2004.13769[gr-qc]"

Recently, an axially symmetric spacetime with causality violation is appeared in Ref. [1]. There, author presented a type III metric with vanishing expansion, shear and twist. The matter-energy represents a pure radial field with a negative cosmological constant. The spacetime is asymptotically anti-de Sitter space in the radial direction. Actually, this work with different for the metric was already published in Ref. [4]. Therefore, the current paper Ref. [1] is a duplicate one of the previous work.

Linear confinement of generalized KG-oscillator with a uniform magnetic field in Kaluza-Klein theory and Aharonov-Bohm effect

In this paper, we solve generalized KG-oscillator interacts with a uniform magnetic field in five-dimensional space-time background produced by topological defects under a linear confining potential using the Kaluza-Klein theory. We solve this equation and analyze an analogue of the Aharonov-Bohm effect for bound states. We observe that the energy levels for each radial mode depends on the global parameters characterizing the space-time, the confining potential, and the magnetic field which shows a quantum effect

Spin-$0$ scalar particle interacts with scalar potential in the presence of magnetic field and quantum flux under the effects of KKT in $5D$ cosmic string space-time

In this paper, we study a relativistic quantum dynamics of spin-$0$ scalar particle interacts with scalar potential in the presence of a uniform magnetic field and quantum flux in the background of Kaluza-Klein theory (KKT). We solve Klein-Gordon equation in the considered framework and analyze the relativistic analogue of the Aharonov-Bohm effect for bound states. We show that the energy levels depend on the global parameters characterizing the space-time, the scalar potential and the magnetic field which break their degeneracy.

Axial symmetry cosmological constant vacuum solution of field equations with a curvature singularity, closed time-like curves and deviation of geodesics

In this paper, we present a type D, non-vanishing cosmological constant, vacuum solution of the Einstein's field equations, extension of an axially symmetric, asymptotically flat vacuum metric with a curvature singularity. The space-time admits closed time-like curves (CTCs) that appear after a certain instant of time from an initial spacelike hypersurface, indicating it represents a time-machine space-time. We wish to discuss the physical properties and show that this solution can be interpreted as gravitational waves of Coulomb-type propagate on anti-de Sitter space backgrounds. Our treatment focuses on the analysis of the equation of geodesic deviation.

Wave Fronts in a Causality Violating Godel-Type Metric

The light-rays and wave fronts in a flat class of Godel-type metric are examined to reveal the causality violating features of the space-time. Non-causal features demonstrated by the development of unusual wave front singularities are shown to be related to the non-monotonic advance of time along the light rays, as measured by a system of observers at rest with respect to one another with synchronized clocks.
