Allocation des ressources radio en LTE

In this paper we investigate several approaches and algorithms that have been proposed in the literature to address the need (allocate resources efficiently), this diversity and multitude of algorithms is related the factors considered for the optimal management of requested radio traffic type resource, specifically the requested QoS by the EU.

Survey On Scheduling And Radio Resources Allocation In Lte

This paper focuses on an essential task of the enhanced NodeB eNodeB element in LTE architecture, the Radio Resource Manager RRM, which aims to accept or reject requests for connection to the network based on some constraints and ensuring optimal distribution of radio resources between Users Equipments UEs. Its main functionalities include Admission Control AC and Packet Scheduling PS. This paper will center mainly on the PS part of the RRM task, which performs the radio resource allocation in both uplink and downlink directions. Several approaches and algorithms have been proposed in the literature to address this need ie : allocate resources efficiently, the diversity and multitude of algorithms is related to the factors considered for the optimal management of radio resource, specifically, the traffic type and the QoS Quality of Service requested by the UE. In this article, an art's state of the radio resource allocation strategies and a detailed study of several scheduling algorithms proposed for LTE (uplink and downlink) are made. Therefore, we offer our evaluation and criticism.

A survey on energy efficiency for wireless mesh network

Reducing CO2 emissions is an important global environmental issue. Over the recent years, wireless and mobile communications have increasingly become popular with consumers. An increasingly popular type of wireless access is the so-called Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) that provide wireless connectivity through much cheaper and more flexible backhaul infrastructure compared with wired solutions. Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) is an emerging new technology which is being adopted as the wireless internetworking solution for the near future. Due to increased energy consumption in the information and communication technology (ICT) industries, and its consequent environmental effects, energy efficiency has become a key factor to evaluate the performance of a communication network. This paper mainly focuses on classification layer of the largest existing approaches dedicated to energy conservation. It is also discussing the most interesting works on energy saving in WMNs networks.
