Threat assessment of a possible Vehicle-Born Improvised Explosive Device using DSmT

This paper presents the solution about the threat of a VBIED (Vehicle-Born Improvised Explosive Device) obtained with the DSmT (Dezert-Smarandache Theory). This problem has been proposed recently to the authors by Simon Maskell and John Lavery as a typical illustrative example to try to compare the different approaches for dealing with uncertainty for decision-making support. The purpose of this paper is to show in details how a solid justified solution can be obtained from DSmT approach and its fusion rules thanks to a proper modeling of the belief functions involved in this problem.

Neutrosophic Bilinear Algebras and their Generalizations

This book introduces the concept of neutrosophic bilinear algebras and their generalizations to n-linear algebras, n>2. This book has five chapters. The first chapter is introductory in nature and gives a few essential definitions and references for the reader to make use of the literature in case the reader is not thorough with the basics. The second chapter deals with different types of neutrosophic bilinear algebras and bivector spaces and proves several results analogous to linear bialgebra. In chapter three the authors introduce the notion of n-linear algebras and prove several theorems related to them. Many of the classical theorems for neutrosophic algebras are proved with appropriate modifications. Chapter four indicates the probable applications of these algebraic structures. The final chapter suggests about 80 innovative problems for the reader to solve.

Super Special Codes using Super Matrices

The new classes of super special codes are constructed in this book using the specially constructed super special vector spaces. These codes mainly use the super matrices. These codes can be realized as a special type of concatenated codes. This book has four chapters. In chapter one basic properties of codes and super matrices are given. A new type of super special vector space is constructed in chapter two of this book. Three new classes of super special codes namely, super special row code, super special column code and super special codes are introduced in chapter three. Applications of these codes are given in the final chapter.

Limits of Recursive Triangle and Polygon Tunnels

In this paper we present unsolved problems that involve infinite tunnels of recursive triangles or recursive polygons, either in a decreasing or in an increasing way. The "nedians or order i in a triangle" are generalized to "nedians of ratio r" and "nedians of angle α" or "nedians at angle β", and afterwards one considers their corresponding "nedian triangles" and "nedian polygons". This tunneling idea came from physics. Further research would be to construct similar tunnel of 3-D solids (and generally tunnels of n-D solids).

Generalization and Alternatives of Kaprekar's Routine

We extend Kaprekar's Routine for a large class of applications. We also give particular examples of this generalization as alternatives to Kaprekar's Routine and Number. Some open questions about the length of the iterations until reaching either zero or a constant or a cycle, and about the length of the cycles are asked at the end.

Rank Distance Bicodes and their Generalization

This book has four chapters. In chapter one we just recall the notion of RD codes, MRD codes, circulant rank codes and constant rank codes and describe their properties. In chapter two we introduce few new classes of codes and study some of their properties. In this chapter we introduce the notion of fuzzy RD codes and fuzzy RD bicodes. Rank distance m-codes are introduced in chapter three and the property of m-covering radius is analysed. Chapter four indicates some applications of these new classes of codes.

Nine Solved and Nine Open Problems in Elementary Geometry

In this paper we review nine previous proposed and solved problems of elementary 2D geometry, and we extend them either from triangles to polygons or polyhedrons, or from circles to spheres (from 2D-space to 3D-space) and make some comments, conjectures, and open questions about them.

A Theorem about Simultaneous Orthological and Homological Triangles

In this paper we prove that if $P_1, P_2$ are isogonal points in the triangle $ABC$, and if $A_1B_1C_1$ and $A_2B_2C_2$ are their corresponding pedal triangles such that the triangles $ABC$ and $A_1B_1C_1$ are homological (the lines $AA_1, BB_1, CC_1$ are concurrent), then the triangles $ABC$ and $A_2B_2C_2$ are also homological.

A Recurrence Method for Generalizing Known Scientific Results

A great number of articles widen a known scientific result $P(a)$ (such as: a theorem, an inequality, or a math/physics/chemical etc. proposition or formula) by a simple recurrence procedure and using, in the proof, the proposition $P(a)$ itself. We present, as examples, the generalizations of Hölder's inequality, of Minkovski's inequality, of Tchebychev's inequality, and of the Theorem of Menelaus respectively.

New classes of Neutrosophic Linear Algebras

This book is organized into seven chapters. Chapter one is introductory in content. The notion of neutrosophic set linear algebras and neutrosophic neutrosophic set linear algebras are introduced and their properties analysed in chapter two. Chapter three introduces the notion of neutrosophic semigroup linear algebras and neutrosophic group linear algebras. A study of their substructures are systematically carried out in this chapter. The fuzzy analogue of neutrosophic group linear algebras, neutrosophic semigroup linear algebras and neutrosophic set linear algebras are introduced in chapter four of this book. Chapter five introduces the concept of neutrosophic group bivector spaces, neutrosophic bigroup linear algebras, neutrosophic semigroup (bisemigroup) linear algebras and neutrosophic biset bivector spaces. The fuzzy analogue of these concepts are given in chapter six. An interesting feature of this book is it contains nearly 424 examples of these new notions. The final chapter suggests over 160 problems which is another interesting feature of this book.

Special set linear algebra and special set fuzzy linear algebra

The authors in this book introduce the notion of special set linear algebra and special set fuzzy Linear algebra, which is an extension of the notion set linear algebra and set fuzzy linear algebra. These concepts are best suited in the application of multi expert models and cryptology. This book has five chapters. In chapter one the basic concepts about set linear algebra is given in order to make this book a self contained one. The notion of special set linear algebra and their fuzzy analogue is introduced in chapter two. In chapter three the notion of special set semigroup linear algebra is introduced. The concept of special set n-vector spaces, n greater than or equal to three is defined and their fuzzy analogue is their fuzzy analogue is given in chapter four. The probable applications are also mentioned. The final chapter suggests 66 problems.

District Level Analysis of Urbanization from Rural-to-Urban Migration in the Rajasthan State

Migration has various dimensions; urbanization due to migration is one of them. In Rajasthan State, district level analysis of urbanization due to migrants shows trend invariably for all districts of the state, though the contribution in urbanization by migrants varies from district to district. In some districts the share of migrants moving to urban areas is very impressive, in others it is not that much high. The migrants' contribution is on the raising over the decades. In this paper, the district level migration in the Rajasthan State is examined in relation to total urbanization and urbanization due to migration.
