Représentations de réflexion de groupes de Coxeter Cinquième partie: La représentation $R$ est réductible. Cas particulier du rang $3$

In this fith part, (with the notations of the preceding parts) we make the following hypothesis: $(W,S)$ is a Coxeter system, irreducible, $2$-spherical and $S$ is of cardinality $3$. Let $R:W\to GL(M)$ be a reducible reflection representation of $W$. Let $G:= Im\,R$. Each sub-space of $M$ $(\neq M)$ stabilize by $G$ is contained in $C_{M}(G)$. Let $M':=M/C_{M}(G)$ and $N(G):=\{g|g\in G,g\, \text{acts trivially on}\,M'\}$. We call $N(G)$ the translation sub-group of $G$. One of the goals of this part is to study $M'$ and $N(G)$. In particular it is shown that $N(G)$ is an $\mathcal{O}G-module$.

Représentations de réflexion de groupes de Coxeter -- Quatrième partie: La représentation $R$ est réductible. Généralités

In this fourth part, (with the notations of the preceding parts) we make the following hypothesis: $(W,S)$ is a Coxeter system, irreducible, $2$-spherical and $S$ is finite. Let $R:W\to GL(M)$ be a reducible reflection representation of $W$. Let $G:= Im\,R$. Each sub-space of $M$ $(\neq M)$ stabilize by $G$ is contained in $C_{M}(G)$. Let $M':=M/C_{M}(G)$ and $N(G):=\{g|g\in G,g\, \text{acts trivially on}\,M'$. We call $N(G)$ the translation sub-group of $G$. One of the goals of this part is to study $M'$ and $N(G)$.

Représentations de réflexion de groupes de Coxeter -- Troisième partie: les groupes diédraux affines

In this third part, we make the following hypothesis: representation $R=R(α,β,γ;l)$ of $W(p,q,r)$ is reducible and there exist a $G$-invariant non-nulle bilinear form where $G=Im R$. With those conditions, we know the structure of $G$: $G'=G/N(G)$ is isomorphic to a finite dihedral group and $N(G)$ is given explicitly as well as the action of $G$ on $N(G)$. We begin by giving conditions on $p,q,r$ as well on $α,β,γ$ and we proove them in the appendix. The general case will be studied in the next part.

Représentations de réflexion de groupes de Coxeter Deuxième partie: outils pour des exemples

This part is made of three sections. In the first section we study the family of polynomials whose roots are 4cos2 kπ, (n \geqslant 3,1 \leqslant k < \frac{n}{2}). We obtain n2 in this manner a family of orthogonal polynomials. This will permit us to study in details all the examples which follow. In the second section, we give technical formulae in order noto repeat calculations. In the third section,we give applications, first when the field K is a sub-field of R (presentations of W(H3) and W(H4)) then in the complex case (study of the complex reflection group G(p, p, n), G24 and G27).
