Complexity Factor For Static Anisotropic Self-Gravitating Source in $f(R)$ Gravity

In a recent paper, Herrera \cite{2} (L. Herrera: Phys. Rev. D97, 044010(2018)) have proposed a new definition of complexity for static self-gravitating fluid in General Relativity. In the present article, we implement this definition of complexity for static self-gravitating fluid to case of $f(R)$ gravity. Here, we found that in the frame of $f(R)$ gravity the definition of complexity proposed by Herrera, entirely based on the quantity known as complexity factor which appears in the orthogonal splitting of the curvature tensor. It has been observed that fluid spheres possessing homogenous energy density profile and isotropic pressure are capable to diminish their the complexity factor. We are interested to see the effects of $f(R)$ term on complexity factor of the self-gravitating object. The gravitating source with inhomogeneous energy density and anisotropic pressure have maximum value of complexity. Further, such fluids may have zero complexity factor if the effects of inhomogeneity in energy density and anisotropic pressure cancel the effects of each other in the presence of $f(R)$ dark source term. Also, we have found some interior exact solutions of modified $f(R)$ field equations satisfying complexity criterium and some applications of this newly concept to the study of structure of compact objects are discussed in detail. It is interesting to note that previous results about the complexity for static self-gravitating fluid in General Relativity can be recovered from our analysis if $f(R)=R$, which General Relativistic limit of $f(R)$ gravity. Some future research directions have been mentioned in the end of the summary.

Dissipative Viscous Cylindrical Collapse in $f(R)$ Gravity With Full Causal Approach

The plan of this study is to inspect the effects of dynamics of dissipative gravitational collapse in cylindrical symmetric non-static spacetime by using Misner-Sharp concept in context of metric $f(R)$ theory of gravity. For more generic isotropic fluid distribution of cylindrical object by dissipative nature of dark source of the fluid due to energy matter tensor, the Misner-Sharp approach technique has been used to illustrate the heat flux with free radiating out flow, bulk and shear viscosity. Furthermore, dynamical equation have been associated with full casual heat transportation equations in framework of $M\ddot{u}ller$-Israel-Stewart formalism. The present study explain the effects of thermodynamics viscid/heat radiating coupling factors on gravitational collapse in $M\ddot{u}ller$-Israel-Stewart notion and matches with the consequences of prior astrophysicists by excluding such coefficients and viscosity variables.

Dynamics of Charged Viscous Dissipative Cylindrical Collapse With Full Causal Approach

The aim of this paper is to investigate the dynamical aspects of charged viscous cylindrical source by using Misner approach. To this end, we have considered the more general charged dissipative fluid enclosed by the cylindrical symmetric spacetime. The dissipative nature of the source is due to the presence of dissipative variables in the stress-energy tensor. The dynamical equations resulting from such charged cylindrical dissipative source have been coupled with the causal transport equations for heat flux, shear and bulk viscosity, in the context of Israel-Steward theory. In this case, we have the considered the Israel-Steward transportation equations without excluding the thermodynamics viscous/heat coupling coefficients. The results are compared with the previous works in which such coefficients were excluded and viscosity variables do not satisfy the casual transportation equations.

Modelling of a compact anisotropic star as an anisotropic fluid sphere in $f(T)$ gravity

In this paper, we have studied the new exact model of anisotropic star in $f(T)$ theory of gravity. The dynamical equations in $f(T)$ theory with the anisotropic fluid have been solved by using Krori-Barua solution. We have determined that all the obtained solutions are free from central singularity and potentially stable. The observed values of mass and radius of the different strange stars RX J 1856-37, Her X-1, and Vela X-12 have been used to calculate the values of unknown constants in Krori and Barua metric. The physical parameters like anisotropy, stability and redshift of the stars have been investigated in detail.

Thermodynamics and cosmological reconstruction in $f(T,B)$ gravity

Recently, it was formulated a teleparallel theory called $f(T,B)$ gravity which connects both $f(T)$ and $f(R)$ under suitable limits. In this theory, the function in the action is assumed to depend on the torsion scalar $T$ and also on a boundary term related with the divergence of torsion, $B=2\nabla_μT^μ$. In this work, we study different features of a flat Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) cosmology in this theory. First, we show that the FLRW equations can be transformed to the form of Clausius relation $\hat{T}_hS_{\rm eff}=-dE+WdV$, where $\hat{T}_h$ is the horizon temperature and $S_{\rm eff}$ is the entropy which contains contributions both from horizon entropy and an additional entropy term introduced due to the non-equilibrium. We also formulate the constraint for the validity of the generalised second law of thermodynamics (GSLT). Additionally, using a cosmological reconstruction technique, we show that both $f(T,B)$ and $-T+F(B)$ gravity can mimic power-law, de-Sitter and $Λ$CDM models. Finally, we formulate the perturbed evolution equations and analyse the stability of some important cosmological solutions.

Existence of stable wormholes on a noncommutative-geometric background in modified gravity

In this paper, we discuss spherically symmetric wormhole solutions in $f(R,T)$ modified theory of gravity by introducing well-known non-commutative geometry in terms of Gaussian and Lorentizian distributions of string theory. For some analytic discussion, we consider an interesting model of $f(R,T)$ gravity defined by $f(R,T)=f_{1}(R)+λT$. By taking two different choices for the function $f_{1}(R)$, that is, $f_{1}(R)=R$ and $f_{1}(R)=R+αR^{2}+γR^{n}$, we discuss the possible existence of wormhole solutions. In the presence of non-commutative Gaussian and Lorentizian distributions, we get exact and numerical solutions for both these models. By taking appropriate values of the free parameters, we discuss different properties of these wormhole models analytically and graphically. Further, using equilibrium condition, it is found that these solutions are stable. Also, we discuss the phenomenon of gravitational lensing for the exact wormhole model and it is found that the deflection angle diverges at wormhole throat.

Gravitational Perfect Fluid Collapse in Gauss-Bonnet Gravity

The Einstein Gauss-Bonnet theory of gravity is the low energy limit of heterotic super-symmetric string theory. This paper deals gravitational collapse of perfect fluid in Einstein Gauss-Bonnet gravity by considering the Lemaitre - Tolman - Bondi metric. For this purpose, the closed form of exact solution of equations of motion has been determined by using the conservation of stress-energy tensor and the condition of marginally bound shells. It has been investigated that the presence of Gauss-Bonnet coupling term $α>0$ and pressure of the fluid modifies the structure and time formation of singularity. In this analysis singularity form earlier than horizon, so end state of the collapse is a naked singularity depending on the initial data. But this singularity is weak and timelike that goes against the investigation of general relativity.

Models of Collapsing and Expanding Anisotropic Gravitating Source in $f(R,T)$ Theory of Gravity

In this paper, we have formulated the exact solutions of the non-static anisotropic gravitating source in $f(R,T)$ gravity which may lead to expansion and collapse. By assuming the no thermal conduction in gravitating source, we have determine parametric solutions in $f(R,T)$ gravity with non-static spherical geometry filled with anisotropic fluid. We have examined the range of parameter for which expansion scalar become negative and positive leading to collapse and expansion, respectively. Further, using the definition of mass function the condition for the trapped surface have been explored and it has been investigated there exists a single horizon in this case. The impact of coupling parameter $λ$ has been discussed in detail in both cases. For the various values of coupling parameter $λ$, we have plotted energy density, anisotropic pressure and anisotropic parameter in case of collapse and expansion. The physical significance of the graphs has been explained in detail.

Higher Dimensional Inhomogeneous Perfect Fluid Collapse in \emph{f(R)} Gravity

This paper is about the $n+2$-dimensional gravitational contraction of inhomogeneous fluid without heat flux in the framework of $f(R)$ metric theory of gravity. Matching conditions for two regions of a star has been derived by using the Darmois junction conditions. For the analytic solution of equations of motion in modified $f(R)$ theory of gravity, we have taken scalar curvature as constant. Hence final result of gravitational collapse in this frame work is the existence of black hole and cosmological horizons, both of these form earlier than singularity. It has been shown that constant curvature term $f(R_{0})$ ($R_0$ is constant scalar curvature) slows down the collapsing process.

Charged Vector Particles Tunneling From 5D Black Hole and Black Ring

In this paper, we investigate the Hawking radiation process as a semiclassical quantum tunneling phenomenon from black ring and Myers-Perry black holes in 5-dimensional (5D) spaces. Using Lagrangian of Glashow-Weinberg-Salam model with background electromagnetic field (for charged W-bosons) and the WKB approximation, we will evaluate the tunneling rate/probability of charged vector particles through horizons by taking into account the electromagnetic vector potential. Moreover, we investigate the corresponding Hawking temperature values by considering Boltzmann factor for both cases and analyze the whole spectrum generally.

The aim of this paper is to study the quantum tunneling process for charged vector particles through the horizons of black holes by using Proca equation. For this purpose, we have consider a pair of charged accelerating and rotating black holes with NUT parameter and a black hole in $5D$ gauged supergravity, respectively. Further, we have studied the tunneling probability and corresponding Hawking temperature for both black holes by using WKB approximation.

Dynamics of Charged Bulk Viscous Collapsing Cylindrical Source With Heat Flux

In this paper, we have explored the effects of dissipation on the dynamics of charged bulk viscous collapsing cylindrical source which allows the out follow of heat flux in the form of radiations. Misner-Sharp formulism has been implemented to drive the dynamical equation in term of proper time and radial derivatives. We have investigated the effects of charge and bulk viscosity on the dynamics of collapsing cylinder. To determine the effects of radial heat flux, we have formulated the heat transport equations in the context of M$\ddot{u}$ller-Israel-Stewart theory by assuming that thermodynamics viscous/heat coupling coefficients can be neglected within some approximations. In our discussion, we have introduced the viscosity by the standard (non-casual) thermodynamics approach. The dynamical equations have been coupled with the heat transport equation equation, the consequences of resulting coupled heat equation have been analyzed in detail.

Dynamics of Particles around Time Conformal Schwarzschild Black Hole

In this work, we present the new technique for discussing the dynamical motion of neutral as well as charged particles in the absence/presence of magnetic field around the time conformal Schwarzschild black hole. Initially, we find the numerical solutions of geodesics of Schwarzschild black hole and the time conformal Schwarzschild black hole. We observe that the Schwarzschild spacetime admits the time conformal factor $e^{εf(t)}$, where $f(t)$ is an arbitrary function and $ε$ is very small which causes the perturbation in the spacetimes. This technique also re-scale the energy content of spacetime. We also investigate the thermal stability, horizons and energy conditions corresponding time conformal Schwarzschild spacetime. Also, we examine the dynamics of neutral and charged particle around time conformal Schwarzschild black hole. We investigate the circumstances under which the particle can escape from vicinity of black hole after collision with another particle. We analyze the effective potential and effective force of particle in the presence of magnetic field with angular momentum graphically.

Interior Solutions of Fluid Sphere in f(R,T) Gravity Admitting Conformal Killing Vectors

We discuss the interior solutions of fluid Sphere in f(R,T) gravity admitting conformal killing vectors, where R is Ricci scalar and T is trace of energy momentum tensor. The solutions corresponding to isotropic and anisotropic configurations have been investigated explicitly. Further, the anisotropic case has been dealt by the utilization of linear equation of state. The results for both cases have been interpreted graphically. The equation of state parameter, integration constants and other parameters of the theory have been chosen to find the central density equal to standard value of central density of the compact objects. The energy conditions as well as stability of the solutions have been investigated in the background of f(R,T) gravity.

Study of Anisotropic Compact Stars in Starobinsky Model

The aim of this paper is to study the formation of anisotropic compact stars in modified $f(R)$ theory of gravity, which is the generalization of the Einstein's gravity. To this end, we have used the solution of Krori and Barua to the anisotropic distribution of matter in $f(R)$ gravity. Further, we have matched the interior solution with the exterior solution to determine the constants of Krori and Barua solution. Finally the constant have been determined by using the data of compact compact stars like 4$U1820-30, Her X-1, SAX J 1808-3658$. Using the evaluated form of the solutions, we have discussed the regularity of matter components at the center as well as on the boundary, energy conditions, anisotropy, stability analysis and mass-radius relation of the compact stars 4$U1820-30$, $Her X-1$, $SAX J 1808-3658.$

Top physics at high-energy lepton colliders

A summary is presented of the workshop "top physics at linear colliders" that was held at IFIC Valencia from the 30th of June to the 3rd July 2015. We present an up-to-date status report of studies into the potential for top quark physics of lepton colliders with an energy reach that exceeds the top quark pair production threshold, with a focus on the linear collider projects ILC and CLIC. This summary shows that such projects can offer very competitive determinations of top quark properties (mass, width) and its interactions with other Standard Model particles, in particular electroweak gauge bosons and the Higgs boson. In both areas the prospects exceed the LHC potential significantly - often by an order of magnitude.

Reconstructing QCD ghost $f(R,T)$ models

We reconstruct $f(R,T)$ theory (where $R$ is the scalar curvature and $T$ is the trace of energy-momentum tensor) in the framework of QCD ghost dark energy models. In this study, we concentrate on particular models of $f(R,T)$ gravity which permits the standard continuity equation in this theory. It is found that reconstructed function can represent phantom and quintessence regimes of the universe in the background of flat FRW universe. In addition, we explore the stability of ghost $f(R,T)$ models.

Possible Formation of Compact Stars in $f(R,T)$ Gravity

This paper constitutes the investigations regarding possible formation of compact stars in $f(R,T)$ theory of gravity, where $R$ is Ricci scalar and $T$ is trace of energy momentum tensor. In this connection, we use analytic solution of Krori and Barua metric (Krori and Barua 1975)to spherically symmetric anisotropic star in context of $f(R,T)$ gravity. The masses and radii of compact stars models namely model $1$, model$ 2$ and model $3$ are employed to incorporate with unknown constants in Krori and Barua metric. The physical features such as regularity at center, anisotropy measure, casuality and well-behaved condition of above mentioned class of compact starts are analyzed. Moreover, we have also discussed energy conditions, stability and surface redshift in $f(R,T)$ gravity.
