A Physics-Informed Hybrid Neural Operator for Transient Magnetization Prediction in Power Magnetics

Magnetic components in high-frequency, high-power-density converters are increasingly driven by non-sinusoidal flux-density waveforms with fast transitions, minor-loop operation, dc bias, and temperature variation. Under these conditions, steady-state core-loss formulas and single-valued material curves cannot fully capture transient magnetization responses. This work proposes the Physics-Informed Hybrid Neural Operator (PI-HNO), a compact material-specific neural model with B-H energy-consistency regularization for core-loss-oriented transient magnetization prediction. Given the measured B(t)-H(t) history, the input B(t) series over the prediction interval and operating-condition information, PI-HNO predicts the H(t) series and the corresponding reconstructed B-H trajectory. The model integrates a local recurrent branch for boundary-state representation and rate-dependent response evolution with a Preisach-inspired global branch that extracts waveform-level hysteresis context. Evaluation on the MagNetX transient database using material-specific models for 14 ferrite materials demonstrates that PI-HNO achieves a compact trade-off between sequence accuracy and B(t)-H(t) energy consistency, with the mean and 95th percentile B(t)-H(t) energy consistency errors of 1.92% and 7.60%, respectively, using only 4777 trainable parameters per model. Ablation studies further demonstrate that the local, global, and energy-aware regularized components provide distinct contributions to transient magnetization prediction.

Promoting Shared Energy Storage Aggregation among High Price-Tolerance Prosumer: An Incentive Deposit and Withdrawal Service

Many residential prosumers exhibit a high price-tolerance for household electricity bills and a low response to price incentives. This is because the household electricity bills are not inherently high, and the potential for saving on electricity bills through participation in conventional Shared Energy Storage (SES) is limited, which diminishes their motivation to actively engage in SES. Additionally, existing SES models often require prosumers to take additional actions, such as optimizing rental capacity and bidding prices, which happen to be capabilities that typical household prosumers do not possess. To incentivize these high price-tolerance residential prosumers to participate in SES, a novel SES aggregation framework is proposed, which does not require prosumers to take additional actions and allows them to maintain existing energy storage patterns. Compared to conventional long-term operation of SES, the proposed framework introduces an additional short-term construction step during which the energy service provider (ESP) acquires control of the energy storage systems (ESS) and offers electricity deposit and withdrawal services (DWS) with dynamic coefficients, enabling prosumers to withdraw more electricity than they deposit without additional actions. Additionally, a matching mechanism is proposed to align prosumers' electricity consumption behaviors with ESP's optimization strategies. Finally, the dynamic coefficients in DWS and trading strategies are optimized by an improved deep reinforcement learning (DRL) algorithm. Case studies are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed SES aggregation framework with DWS and the matching mechanism.

A first-principle study of half-Heusler alloys CKMg and SiKMg

The structural, electronic, and magnetic properties of half-Heusler alloys CKMg and SiKMg are studied by using first-principle density functional theory. The calculations reveal the SiKMg alloy is a half-metallic ferromagnet with the magnetic moment of 1 $μ_B$ per formula unit at equilibrium lattice constant. The magnetic moment mainly originates from the strong spin-polarization of $p$ electrons of Si atom and partial involvement of $d$ electrons of K atom. The half-metallic gap is 0.105 eV. The robustness of half-metallic against the lattice constants for SiKMg is also calculated. CKMg alloy is nearly half-metallic with a spin polarization of 99.99 \%\ at equilibrium lattice constant, but it is a good half-metallic alloy when a low pressure is applied. This shows CKMg is a very promising spintronic functional material.

Half-metallic ferromagnetism in the RbSe and CsTe compounds with CsCl structure: A first-principles study

We investigate the electronic structures and magnetic properties of RbSe and CsTe compounds in CsCl, RS and ZB structures by using first-principles calculation. It is shown that these two compounds exhibit half-metallic ferromagnetism with an integer magnetic moment of 1.00 $μ_B$ per formula in all the three structures. Total energy calculations indicate the CsCl phase is more stable than the other two phases. We investigate these two compounds with CsCl structure in detail. The ferromagnetism results mainly from the spin-polarization of p states of anion Se (Te) for the two compounds. The half-metallicities of RbSe and CsTe compounds can be preserved up to 2.5\% and 0.8\% compression of lattice constants with respect to their equilibrium lattices, respectively.

First-principle study on bulk and (1 1 1) surface of MP (M=K and Rb) in rocksalt structure

The electronic and magnetic properties of bulk and (1 1 1) surfaces for MP (M=K ans Rb) in rocksalt structure have been investigated by employing first-principle calculations. The results reveal that the compounds are half-metallic ferromagnets at the equilibrium lattice constants with large half-metallic band gaps of 0.46 and 0.74 eV. The (111) surfaces of KP and RbP keep their bulk half-metallic property. We study the stabilities of the bulk compounds and their (1 1 1) surfaces as well.

$Ab$ $intito$ study on some new spin-gapless semiconductors: The Zr-based quanternary Heusler alloys

Employing $ab$ $intito$ electronic structure calculations, we have investigated electronic and magnetic properties of the Zr-based quanternary Heusler alloys: ZrCoVIn, ZrFeVGe, ZrCoFeP, ZrCoCrBe and ZrFeCrZ (Z=In and Ga). Our $ab$ $intito$ calculation results show that all the alloys are (or nearly) spin-gapless semiconductors. All the alloys have large band gaps, indicating the stability of them at room temperature. The Slater-Pauling behaviours of these alloys are discussed as well. The values of Curie temperature of all the alloys are estimated. And it is found that the values of the Curie temperature for all our calculated quanternary Heusler alloys are higher than that of room temperature.

A first-principle study on some quanternary Heusler alloys with 4d and 3d transition metal elements

In this letter, we investigate the magnetic properties, electronic structures, Slater-Pauling behaviours of some quanternary Heusler alloys with 4d and 3d transition metal elements. The energy levels of the minority-spin electronic band structures for all our calculated alloys are discussed. We have summaried 21 quanternary Heusler alloys. Our calculations indicate that the half metals ZrCoCrSi, ZrCoCrIn, ZrCoFeSi, ZrFeVAl, ZrFeVGa and NbFeCrAl have large spin-flip gaps.

We investigate the electronic structure and magnetic properties of four quaternary Heusler alloys ZrMnVZ and ZrCoFeZ (Z=Si, Ge) by using first-principle calculations. It is shown that ZrMnVSi, ZrMnVGe and ZrCoFeSi are half-metallic ferromagnets with considerable half-metallic gaps of 0.14, 0.18 and 0.22 eV, respectively. ZrCoFeGe is a nearly half-metallic, the changes of properties for this alloy under pressure is investigated, the spin polarization of this alloy is 98.99\% at equilibrium lattice constant.
