HAF: Adapting Generalist VLAs to Humanoid Whole-Body Loco-manipulation via Hierarchical Action Flow and Spectral Latent RL

Humanoid robots hold great promise as general-purpose agents in human-centered environments, yet generalist vision-language-action (VLA) foundation models are not readily applicable to humanoid whole-body loco-manipulation. The high dimensionality and interdependence of humanoid motions make it challenging for conventional single-stage VLA architectures to coordinate locomotion, waist posture, and dual-arm manipulation effectively. Moreover, policies trained through offline behavior cloning can remain suboptimal during real-world deployment. Although online reinforcement learning can refine policies through real-world interaction, directly tuning large VLA backbones demands excessive computation and may introduce safety risks during real-robot exploration. To address these bottlenecks, we introduce HAF (Humanoid Adaptation Framework), a two-part framework consisting of HAF-VLA and HAF-Steer that transfers off-the-shelf generalist VLA foundation models to humanoid whole-body loco-manipulation. HAF-VLA is a hierarchical action-flow generator built on a pretrained flow-matching VLA. It splits full-body action denoising into three sequential stages with stage embeddings and cross-stage KV caches that retain kinematic dependencies, avoiding incoherent whole-body actions from one-shot generation. On top of the frozen HAF-VLA, HAF-Steer is a latent offline-to-online RL pipeline that leverages flow-matching invertibility and DCT-based dimensionality reduction to restrict RL optimization to a compact noise subspace and train a regularized SAC policy. This avoids updating the large VLA backbone and enables efficient real-world policy refinement. Evaluated on seven real-world humanoid loco-manipulation tasks, HAF surpasses vanilla single-stage VLA baselines and improves whole-body coordination and task performance. Qwen-UI-Agent Technical Report: Toward Next-Generation Real-World Centric Foundation GUI Agents

GUI agents have the potential to become a general purpose executor over existing digital devices. To advance them toward real-world use, we envision agents that operate reliably on real devices, execute workflows across platforms, combine GUI interaction with CLI execution, complete long-horizon tasks, proactively initiate useful services, and autonomously improve their capabilities with minimal human effort. Guided by this vision, we present Qwen-UI-Agent, a real-world centric foundation GUI agent spanning mobile, computer-use, web, and DeepSearch environments. Qwen-UI-Agent combines diverse sandbox environments with a large-scale real-device mobile runtime. Its unified action space interleaves GUI operations with CLI execution and generates batched actions in a single model turn. An AutoResearch-style data flywheel uses agents to construct tasks and environments, diagnose failures, and plan subsequent iterations. Online RL supports training on trajectories exceeding 100 turns, with over 10,000 concurrent environments accelerating rollout. A lightweight harness layer supports proactive service initiation and stateful workflows across mobile and computer. Across a broad suite of evaluations, Qwen-UI-Agent sets state-of-the-art performance on mobile-use benchmarks while delivering competitive performance on computer- and browser-use tasks against frontier models, including Opus 4.8, Gemini 3.1 Pro, and GPT-5.6 Sol. On mobile use, it achieves 82.1% on MobileWorld, 92.2% on MobileWorld-Real, and 97.5% on AndroidDaily. On computer use, it achieves 79.5% on OSWorld-Verified and a 40.0% partial-progress score on OSWorld-v2. On browser use and GUI grounding, it achieves 73.6% on WebArena and 81.5% on ScreenSpot-Pro, respectively.

MoASE++: Mixture of Activation Sparsity Experts with Domain-Adaptive On-policy Distillation for Continual Test Time Adaptation

Continual test-time adaptation adapts a source-pretrained model to non-stationary, unlabeled target streams while retaining past competence, yet texture-biased backbones risk error accumulation and catastrophic forgetting. Drawing inspiration from the process of decoupling shape and texture in the human visual system, we introduce MoASE, a plug-in mixture-of-experts that disentangles domain-agnostic structure from domain-specific texture using Activation Sparsity Experts with Spatial Differentiable Dropout, forming complementary high- and low-activation pathways, while high- and low-rank bottlenecks diversify representations. The Activation Sparsity Gate produces input-adaptive SDD thresholds for precise token selection, and the Domain-Aware Router assigns per-sample expert weights using texture-sensitive cues. To curb confirmation bias on unlabeled streams and stabilize supervision, we then introduce Domain-Adaptive On-Policy Distillation to constitute MoASE++, with an EMA-anchored on-policy reverse KL distillation and an augmentation policy conditioned on entropy and confidence that aligns predictions across the same views and improves the robustness-plasticity balance. Extensive experiments on classification (CIFAR-10/100-C, ImageNet-C) and semantic segmentation (Cityscapes->ACDC) demonstrate consistent state-of-the-art performance, offering a principled, controllable approach to continual adaptation in dynamic visual environments.

Key-Embedded Privacy for Decentralized AI in Biomedical Omics

The rapid adoption of data-driven methods in biomedicine has intensified concerns over privacy, governance, and regulation, limiting raw data sharing and hindering the assembly of representative cohorts for clinically relevant AI. This landscape necessitates practical, efficient privacy solutions, as cryptographic defenses often impose heavy overhead and differential privacy can degrade performance, leading to sub-optimal outcomes in real-world settings. Here, we present a lightweight federated learning method, INFL, based on Implicit Neural Representations that addresses these challenges. Our approach integrates plug-and-play, coordinate-conditioned modules into client models, embeds a secret key directly into the architecture, and supports seamless aggregation across heterogeneous sites. Across diverse biomedical omics tasks, including cohort-scale classification in bulk proteomics, regression for perturbation prediction in single-cell transcriptomics, and clustering in spatial transcriptomics and multi-omics with both public and private data, we demonstrate that INFL achieves strong, controllable privacy while maintaining utility, preserving the performance necessary for downstream scientific and clinical applications.

Dual-Strategy-Enhanced ConBiMamba for Neural Speaker Diarization

Conformer and Mamba have achieved strong performance in speech modeling but face limitations in speaker diarization. Mamba is efficient but struggles with local details and nonlinear patterns. Conformer's self-attention incurs high memory overhead for long speech sequences and may cause instability in long-range dependency modeling. These limitations are critical for diarization, which requires both precise modeling of local variations and robust speaker consistency over extended spans. To address these challenges, we first apply ConBiMamba for speaker diarization. We follow the Pyannote pipeline and propose the Dual-Strategy-Enhanced ConBiMamba neural speaker diarization system. ConBiMamba integrates the strengths of Conformer and Mamba, where Conformer's convolutional and feed-forward structures are utilized to improve local feature extraction. By replacing Conformer's self-attention with ExtBiMamba, ConBiMamba efficiently handles long audio sequences while alleviating the high memory cost of self-attention. Furthermore, to address the problem of the higher DER around speaker change points, we introduce the Boundary-Enhanced Transition Loss to enhance the detection of speaker change points. We also propose Layer-wise Feature Aggregation to enhance the utilization of multi-layer representations. The system is evaluated on six diarization datasets and achieves state-of-the-art performance on four of them. The source code of our study is available at https://github.com/lz-hust/DSE-CBM.

RoboMIND 2.0: A Multimodal, Bimanual Mobile Manipulation Dataset for Generalizable Embodied Intelligence

While data-driven imitation learning has revolutionized robotic manipulation, current approaches remain constrained by the scarcity of large-scale, diverse real-world demonstrations. Consequently, the ability of existing models to generalize across long-horizon bimanual tasks and mobile manipulation in unstructured environments remains limited. To bridge this gap, we present RoboMIND 2.0, a comprehensive real-world dataset comprising over 310K dual-arm manipulation trajectories collected across six distinct robot embodiments and 739 complex tasks. Crucially, to support research in contact-rich and spatially extended tasks, the dataset incorporates 12K tactile-enhanced episodes and 20K mobile manipulation trajectories. Complementing this physical data, we construct high-fidelity digital twins of our real-world environments, releasing an additional 20K-trajectory simulated dataset to facilitate robust sim-to-real transfer. To fully exploit the potential of RoboMIND 2.0, we propose MIND-2 system, a hierarchical dual-system frame-work optimized via offline reinforcement learning. MIND-2 integrates a high-level semantic planner (MIND-2-VLM) to decompose abstract natural language instructions into grounded subgoals, coupled with a low-level Vision-Language-Action executor (MIND-2-VLA), which generates precise, proprioception-aware motor actions.

Robobench: A Comprehensive Evaluation Benchmark for Multimodal Large Language Models as Embodied Brain

Building robots that can perceive, reason, and act in dynamic, unstructured environments remains a central challenge. Recent embodied systems often follow a dual-system paradigm, where System 2 performs high-level reasoning and System 1 handles low-level control. We refer to System 2 as the embodied brain, the cognitive core for decision-making in manipulation. Although evaluating this embodied brain is crucial, existing benchmarks mainly measure execution success or cover only limited aspects of high-level cognition and task realism. We introduce RoboBench, a benchmark for evaluating multimodal large language models (MLLMs) as embodied brains. RoboBench covers five dimensions: Instruction Comprehension, Perception Reasoning, Generalized Planning, Affordance Prediction, and Failure Analysis. It spans 14 capabilities, 25 tasks, and 6,092 QA pairs. To improve realism, it draws from large-scale real robotic data and in-house collection across diverse embodiments, attribute-rich objects, multi-view scenes, and memory-driven navigation. For planning, RoboBench introduces an MLLM-as-world-simulator framework that assesses whether predicted plans can achieve critical object-state changes under physical and visual constraints, enabling more faithful evaluation of long-horizon reasoning than symbolic matching. Experiments on 18 state-of-the-art MLLMs reveal persistent limitations in implicit instruction understanding, spatiotemporal reasoning, cross-scenario planning, fine-grained affordance understanding, and failure diagnosis. We further analyze how embodied cognitive abilities relate to downstream robotic control. RoboBench offers a comprehensive scaffold for quantifying high-level cognition and guiding next-generation MLLMs toward more robust robotic intelligence.

ProRe: A Proactive Reward System for GUI Agents via Reasoner-Actor Collaboration

Reward is critical to the evaluation and training of large language models (LLMs). However, existing rule-based or model-based reward methods struggle to generalize to GUI agents, where access to ground-truth trajectories or application databases is often unavailable, and static trajectory-based LLM-as-a-Judge approaches suffer from limited accuracy. To address these challenges, we propose ProRe, a proactive reward system that leverages a general-purpose reasoner and domain-specific evaluator agents (actors). The reasoner schedules targeted state probing tasks, which the evaluator agents then execute by actively interacting with the environment to collect additional observations. This enables the reasoner to assign more accurate and verifiable rewards to GUI agents. Empirical results on over 3K trajectories demonstrate that ProRe improves reward accuracy and F1 score by up to 5.3\% and 19.4\%, respectively. Furthermore, integrating ProRe with state-of-the-art policy agents yields a success rate improvement of up to 22.4\%. The source code is available at https://github.com/V-Droid-Agent/ProRe.

Orochi: Versatile Biomedical Image Processor

Deep learning has emerged as a pivotal tool for accelerating research in the life sciences, with the low-level processing of biomedical images (e.g., registration, fusion, restoration, super-resolution) being one of its most critical applications. Platforms such as ImageJ (Fiji) and napari have enabled the development of customized plugins for various models. However, these plugins are typically based on models that are limited to specific tasks and datasets, making them less practical for biologists. To address this challenge, we introduce Orochi, the first application-oriented, efficient, and versatile image processor designed to overcome these limitations. Orochi is pre-trained on patches/volumes extracted from the raw data of over 100 publicly available studies using our Random Multi-scale Sampling strategy. We further propose Task-related Joint-embedding Pre-Training (TJP), which employs biomedical task-related degradation for self-supervision rather than relying on Masked Image Modelling (MIM), which performs poorly in downstream tasks such as registration. To ensure computational efficiency, we leverage Mamba's linear computational complexity and construct Multi-head Hierarchy Mamba. Additionally, we provide a three-tier fine-tuning framework (Full, Normal, and Light) and demonstrate that Orochi achieves comparable or superior performance to current state-of-the-art specialist models, even with lightweight parameter-efficient options. We hope that our study contributes to the development of an all-in-one workflow, thereby relieving biologists from the overwhelming task of selecting among numerous models.

SpikePingpong: Spike Vision-based Fast-Slow Pingpong Robot System

Learning to control high-speed objects in dynamic environments represents a fundamental challenge in robotics. Table tennis serves as an ideal testbed for advancing robotic capabilities in dynamic environments. This task presents two fundamental challenges: it requires a high-precision vision system capable of accurately predicting ball trajectories under complex dynamics, and it necessitates intelligent control strategies to ensure precise ball striking to target regions. High-speed object manipulation typically demands advanced visual perception hardware capable of capturing rapid motion with exceptional temporal resolution. Drawing inspiration from Kahneman's dual-system theory, where fast intuitive processing complements slower deliberate reasoning, there exists an opportunity to develop more robust perception architectures that can handle high-speed dynamics while maintaining accuracy. To this end, we present \textit{\textbf{SpikePingpong}}, a novel system that integrates spike-based vision with imitation learning for high-precision robotic table tennis. We develop a Fast-Slow system architecture where System 1 provides rapid ball detection and preliminary trajectory prediction with millisecond-level responses, while System 2 employs spike-oriented neural calibration for precise hittable position corrections. For strategic ball striking, we introduce Imitation-based Motion Planning And Control Technology, which learns optimal robotic arm striking policies through demonstration-based learning. Experimental results demonstrate that \textit{\textbf{SpikePingpong}} achieves a remarkable 92\% success rate for 30 cm accuracy zones and 70\% in the more challenging 20 cm precision targeting. This work demonstrates the potential of Fast-Slow architectures for advancing robotic capabilities in time-critical manipulation tasks.

SpikeGen: Decoupled "Rods and Cones" Visual Representation Processing with Latent Generative Framework

The process through which humans perceive and learn visual representations in dynamic environments is highly complex. From a structural perspective, the human eye decouples the functions of cone and rod cells: cones are primarily responsible for color perception, while rods are specialized in detecting motion, particularly variations in light intensity. These two distinct modalities of visual information are integrated and processed within the visual cortex, thereby enhancing the robustness of the human visual system. Inspired by this biological mechanism, modern hardware systems have evolved to include not only color-sensitive RGB cameras but also motion-sensitive Dynamic Visual Systems, such as spike cameras. Building upon these advancements, this study seeks to emulate the human visual system by integrating decomposed multi-modal visual inputs with modern latent-space generative frameworks. We named it SpikeGen. We evaluate its performance across various spike-RGB tasks, including conditional image and video deblurring, dense frame reconstruction from spike streams, and high-speed scene novel-view synthesis. Supported by extensive experiments, we demonstrate that leveraging the latent space manipulation capabilities of generative models enables an effective synergistic enhancement of different visual modalities, addressing spatial sparsity in spike inputs and temporal sparsity in RGB inputs.

Unidirectional zero-index and omnidirectional hybrid hydrodynamic cloaks constructed from isotropic media with anisotropic geometry

Hydrodynamic cloaking offers a promising approach for manipulating viscous flows by redirecting fluid around an obstacle without inducing external disturbances. By extending pseudo-conformal mappings into potential flow models, we introduce a new isobaric boundary condition that enables the construction of zero-index cloaks using isotropic and homogeneous media shaped into anisotropic geometries, such as elliptical shells. Compared to conventional cloaks, which suffer performance degradation under realistic viscous conditions, the zero-index design significantly reduces such losses by suppressing flow disturbances at the inner boundary. To overcome practical limitations in realizing ideal isobaric conditions, we further propose a hybrid cloak that integrates a raised fluid domain with an auxiliary flow channel above the obstacle. This architecture removes the need for viscosity tuning and, under anisotropic geometries, surpasses both conventional and zero-index cloaks in omnidirectional performance. The design is validated through simulations and experiments. Our findings offer a generalizable strategy for controlling viscous flows and open new directions for microfluidic applications including drug delivery, particle steering, and cell sorting.

UniCTokens: Boosting Personalized Understanding and Generation via Unified Concept Tokens

Personalized models have demonstrated remarkable success in understanding and generating concepts provided by users. However, existing methods use separate concept tokens for understanding and generation, treating these tasks in isolation. This may result in limitations for generating images with complex prompts. For example, given the concept $\langle bo\rangle$, generating "$\langle bo\rangle$ wearing its hat" without additional textual descriptions of its hat. We call this kind of generation \textit{\textbf{personalized attribute-reasoning generation}}. To address the limitation, we present UniCTokens, a novel framework that effectively integrates personalized information into a unified vision language model (VLM) for understanding and generation. UniCTokens trains a set of unified concept tokens to leverage complementary semantics, boosting two personalized tasks. Moreover, we propose a progressive training strategy with three stages: understanding warm-up, bootstrapping generation from understanding, and deepening understanding from generation to enhance mutual benefits between both tasks. To quantitatively evaluate the unified VLM personalization, we present UnifyBench, the first benchmark for assessing concept understanding, concept generation, and attribute-reasoning generation. Experimental results on UnifyBench indicate that UniCTokens shows competitive performance compared to leading methods in concept understanding, concept generation, and achieving state-of-the-art results in personalized attribute-reasoning generation. Our research demonstrates that enhanced understanding improves generation, and the generation process can yield valuable insights into understanding. Our code and dataset will be released at: \href{https://github.com/arctanxarc/UniCTokens}{https://github.com/arctanxarc/UniCTokens}.

MoLe-VLA: Dynamic Layer-skipping Vision Language Action Model via Mixture-of-Layers for Efficient Robot Manipulation

Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) excel in understanding complex language and visual data, enabling generalist robotic systems to interpret instructions and perform embodied tasks. Nevertheless, their real-world deployment is hindered by substantial computational and storage demands. Recent insights into the homogeneous patterns in the LLM layer have inspired sparsification techniques to address these challenges, such as early exit and token pruning. However, these methods often neglect the critical role of the final layers that encode the semantic information most relevant to downstream robotic tasks. Aligning with the recent breakthrough of the Shallow Brain Hypothesis (SBH) in neuroscience and the mixture of experts in model sparsification, we conceptualize each LLM layer as an expert and propose a Mixture-of-Layers Vision-Language-Action model (MoLe-VLA, or simply MoLe) architecture for dynamic LLM layer activation. We introduce a Spatial-Temporal Aware Router (STAR) for MoLe to selectively activate only parts of the layers based on the robot's current state, mimicking the brain's distinct signal pathways specialized for cognition and causal reasoning. Additionally, to compensate for the cognitive ability of LLMs lost in MoLe, we devise a Cognition Self-Knowledge Distillation (CogKD) framework. CogKD enhances the understanding of task demands and improves the generation of task-relevant action sequences by leveraging cognitive features. Extensive experiments conducted in both RLBench simulation and real-world environments demonstrate the superiority of MoLe-VLA in both efficiency and performance. Specifically, MoLe-VLA achieves an 8% improvement in the mean success rate across ten tasks while reducing computational costs by up to x5.6 compared to standard LLMs.

Advancing Mobile GUI Agents: A Verifier-Driven Approach to Practical Deployment

We propose V-Droid, a mobile GUI task automation agent. Unlike previous mobile agents that utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) as generators to directly generate actions at each step, V-Droid employs LLMs as verifiers to evaluate candidate actions before making final decisions. To realize this novel paradigm, we introduce a comprehensive framework for constructing verifier-driven mobile agents: the discretized action space construction coupled with the prefilling-only workflow to accelerate the verification process, the pair-wise progress preference training to significantly enhance the verifier's decision-making capabilities, and the scalable human-agent joint annotation scheme to efficiently collect the necessary data at scale. V-Droid obtains a substantial task success rate across several public mobile task automation benchmarks: 59.5% on AndroidWorld, 38.3% on AndroidLab, and 49% on MobileAgentBench, surpassing existing agents by 5.2%, 2.1%, and 9%, respectively. Furthermore, V-Droid achieves a remarkably low latency of 4.3s per step, which is 6.1x faster compared with existing mobile agents. Expand Heterogeneous Learning Systems with Selective Multi-Source Knowledge Fusion

Expanding existing learning systems to provide high-quality customized models for more domains, such as new users, is challenged by the limited labeled data and the data and device heterogeneities. While knowledge distillation methods could overcome label scarcity and device heterogeneity, they assume the teachers are fully reliable and overlook the data heterogeneity, which prevents the direct adoption of existing models. To address this problem, this paper proposes a framework, HaT, to expand learning systems. It first selects multiple high-quality models from the system at a low cost and then fuses their knowledge by assigning sample-wise weights to their predictions. Later, the fused knowledge is selectively injected into the customized models based on the knowledge quality. Extensive experiments on different tasks, modalities, and settings show that HaT outperforms state-of-the-art baselines by up to 16.5% accuracy and saves up to 39% communication traffic.

Free-form intelligent hydrodynamic metamaterials enabled by extreme anisotropy

Intelligent metamaterials have attracted widespread research interest due to their self-adaptive capabilities and controllability. They hold great potential for advancing fluid control by providing responsive and flexible solutions. However, current designs of passive hydrodynamic metamaterials are limited by their fixed shapes and specific environments, lacking environmental adaptability. These two constraints hinder the broader application of hydrodynamic metamaterials. In this work, we propose a design for passive intelligent metashells that utilize extremely anisotropic parameters to endow hydrodynamic metamaterials with self-adaptive abilities and free-form shapes. Achieving the required anisotropic parameters is challenging, but we ingeniously accomplished this by creating isobaric conditions through increasing the water height in the shell region. We validated the design through finite-element simulations. This approach overcomes the limitations of existing passive hydrodynamic metamaterials, enhancing their intelligent behavior. Our model improves the flexibility and robustness of hydrodynamic metamaterials in complex and dynamic environments, providing insights for future designs and practical applications

Invisible Hydrodynamic Tweezers Based on Near-Zero Index Materials

Manipulating particles, such as cells and tissues, in a flowing liquid environment is crucial for life science research. Traditional contactless tweezers, although widely used for single-cell manipulation, face several challenges. These include potential damage to the target, restriction to static environments, complex excitation setups, and interference outside the target area. To address these issues, we propose an ``invisible hydrodynamic tweezer'' utilizing near-zero index hydrodynamic metamaterials. This metamaterial-based device creates an equipotential resistance zone, effectively immobilizing particles in flowing fluids without disturbing the external flow field and without causing damage to the targets. Unlike traditional active control methods, our tweezer passively captures and releases particles by adjusting the flow channel, eliminating the need for continuous and stable excitation devices, thereby significantly simplifying the setup complexity. Furthermore, these tweezers can be modularly designed in different sizes to flexibly accommodate various application needs. Simulations and experimental validations demonstrated the non-interfering, stable trapping, and precise movement capabilities of these tweezers. This proposed technique holds significant potential for applications in biomedicine, microfluidics, and environmental monitoring.
