On the Reversible Geodesics for a Finsler space with Randers change of Quartic metric

In this paper, we consider a Finsler space with a Randers change of Quartic metric F = $\sqrt[4]{α^4 + β^4} + β$. The conditions for this space to be with reversible geodesics are obtained. Further, we study some geometrical properties of F with reversible geodesics and prove that the Finsler metric F induces a generalized weighted quasi-distance $d_F$ on M.

Constant Curvature Conditions For Generalized Kropina Spaces

The classification of Finsler spaces of constant curvature is an interesting and important topic of research in differential geometry. In this paper we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for generalized Kropina space to be of constant flag curvature.

On the Rigidity of Spherically Symmetric Finsler Metrics with Isotropic $E$-Curvature

In the current paper, first we give the correct version of the formula for mean Berwald curvature of a spherically symmetric Finsler metric given in paper \cite{YCheWSon2015}. Further, we establish differential equations characterizing projectively as well as dually flat spherically symmetric Finsler metrics. Finally, we obtain a rigidity result on spherically symmetric Finsler metrics with isotropic $E$-Curvature.

On the Conformal change of a Douglas space of second kind with special $(α, β)$-metric

The notion of a Douglas space of second kind of a Finsler space with $(α, β)$-metric was introduced by I. Y. Lee [9]. Since then, so many geometers have studied this topic e. g., [14]. In this paper, we prove that a Douglas space of second kind with special $% (α, β)$-metric $α+εβ+ k \frac{β^2}{α}$ is conformally transformed to a Douglas space of second kind. Further, we obtain some results which prove that a Douglas space of second kind with certain $(α, β)$-metrics such as Randers metric, Kropina metric, first approximate Matsumoto metric and Finsler space with square metric is conformally transformed to a Douglas space of second kind.

$\mathbb{R}$-complex Finsler spaces with infinite series $(α, β)$-metric

In the present paper, the notion of $\mathbb{R}$-complex Finsler space with Infinite Series ($α, β$)- metric $\dfrac{β^2}{β- α}$ is defined. The Fundamental metric fields $g_{ij}$, $g_{i\bar{j}}$, their determinants and the inverse of these tensor fields are obtained. Also some properties of these spaces are studied.

Weighted quasi-metrics associated with Finsler metrics

The current paper deals with some new classes of Finsler metrics with reversible geodesics. We construct weighted quasi-metrics associated with these metrics. Further, we investigate some important geometric properties of weighted quasi-metric space. Finally, we discuss the embedding of quasi-metric spaces with generalized weight.

Homogeneous Finsler spaces with some special $(α, β)$-metrics

In this paper, first we prove the existence of invariant vector field on a homogeneous Finsler space with infinite series $(α, β)$-metric and exponential metric. Next, we deduce an explicit formula for the the $S$-curvature of homogeneous Finsler space with these metrics. Using this formula, we further derive the formula for mean Berwald curvature of the homogeneous Finsler space with the above mentioned metrics.

Kropina change of a Finsler space with m-th root metric

In this paper, we find a condition under which a Finsler space with Kropina change of mth-root metric is projectively related to a mth-root metric and also we find a condition under which this Kropina transformed mth-root metric is locally dually flat. Moreover we find the condition for its Projective flatness.

Projective changes between two Finsler spaces with $(α, β)$-metrics

In the present paper, we find the conditions to characterize projective change between two $(α, β)$-metrics, F = $α+ εβ+ k\frac{β^2}α$ ($ε$ and k $\neq$ 0 are constants) and a Matsumoto metric $\bar{F}=\frac{\barα^2}{\barα -\barβ}$ on a manifold with dimension $n \geq 3$ where $α$ and $\barα$ are two Riemannian metrics, $β$ and $\barβ$ are two non-zero 1-forms. Moreover, we study such projective changes when F has some special curvature properties.

Some classes of projectively and dually flat Finsler spaces with Randers change

In this paper, we consider Randers change of some special $ (α, β)- $ metrics. First we find the fundamental metric tensor and Cartan tensor of these Randers changed $ (α, β)- $metrics. Next, we establish a general formula for inverse of fundamental metric tensors of these metrics. Finally, we find the necessary and sufficient conditions under which the Randers change of these $ (α, β)- $ metrics are projectively and locally dually flat.

Four-dimensional Conformally Flat Berwald and Landsberg Spaces

The problem of conformal transformation and conformal flatness of Finsler spaces has been studied by so many researchers $\left[ 6,16,17,20,21\right] .$ Recently, Prasad et. al $\left[ 19\right] $ have studied three dimensional conformally flat Landsberg and Berwald spaces and have given some important results. The purpose of the present paper is to extend the idea of conformal change to four dimensional Finsler spaces and find the suitable conditions under which a four dimensional conformally flat Landsberg space becomes a Berwald space.
