An Emulation Anchored Digital Twin Testbed for Cyberattack and Defense Analysis in Hospital IT OT Environments

Modern hospitals increasingly rely on integrated Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructures to support critical healthcare services. However, this convergence expands the cybersecurity attack surface and makes safe validation of defensive mechanisms difficult on live systems. Existing testbeds often focus on isolated IT or OT environments and do not capture realistic cross-domain healthcare interactions. This work presents a hospital IT and OT cybersecurity testbed coupled with a digital twin for monitoring, experimentation, and validation of countermeasures. The testbed emulates a central server, Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, SCADA-based infrastructure, and segmented IT, OT, and DMZ networks. It supports controlled cyberattack execution, software-patch evaluation, and training of RL-based defense agents. The testbed is further extended to a digital twin that models the real-time state of the environment using log and network statistics and enables bidirectional interaction through command execution and container lifecycle orchestration. Modbus/TCP and FHIR/HL7 support realistic communication across healthcare and industrial components. Experimental evaluation shows low computation overhead, with average normalized CPU utilization below 0.4 % per container and most lightweight services operating below 0.01%. OpenPLC Modbus TCP operations achieve a median round-trip latency of 0.901 ms. The testbed also captures a multi-stage SSH-based attack propagating from the DMZ to the IT and PLC networks. The framework provides a foundation for extending the emulated environment toward a hardware-enabled hospital digital twin.

Generalized Weighted Composition Operators on Vector-Valued Weighted Bergman Space

In this research article the necessary and sufficient conditions for the norm of composition operator $C_{\Phi}$ on $\mathcal{A}_{\alpha}^2(H)$ to be one are obtained. Moreover, $C_{\Phi}$ is unitary on $\mathcal{A}_{\alpha}^2(H)$ if and only if it is co-isometry. The necessary and sufficient condition for Hermitian and normal composition operators on $\mathcal{A}_{\alpha}^2(H)$ are also explored. Also, the characterization for boundeness of generalized weighted composition operator is obtained under some condition on $\Phi.$

Isometries of the product of composition operators on weighted Bergman space

In this paper the necessary and sufficient conditions for the product of composition operators to be isometry are obtained on weighted Bergman space. With the help of a counter example we also proved that unlike on $\mathcal{H}^2(\mathbb{D})$ and $\mathcal{A}_{\alpha}^2(\mathbb{D}),$ the composition operator on $\mathcal{S}^2(\mathbb{D})$ induced by an analytic self map on $\mathbb{D}$ with fixed origin need not be of norm one. We have generalized the Schwartz's well known result on $\mathcal{A}_{\alpha}^2(\mathbb{D})$ which characterizes the almost multiplicative operator on $\mathcal{H}^2(\mathbb{D}).$

Product isometry of generalized weighted composition operator on general weighted Hardy space

We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the composition and weighted composition operator and product of composition operators to be isometry and unitary on $H_{E}(\xi).$ With the help of counter example we also prove that the product of two non isometric composition operator and weighted composition operator can be isometry on $H_{E}(\xi)$. We also completely characterize the boundedness of generalized weighted composition operators on $H_{E}(\xi).$

Architecture and Security of SCADA Systems: A Review

Pipeline bursting, production lines shut down, frenzy traffic, trains confrontation, nuclear reactor shut down, disrupted electric supply, interrupted oxygen supply in ICU - these catastrophic events could result because of an erroneous SCADA system/ Industrial Control System(ICS). SCADA systems have become an essential part of automated control and monitoring of many of the Critical Infrastructures (CI). Modern SCADA systems have evolved from standalone systems into sophisticated complex, open systems, connected to the Internet. This geographically distributed modern SCADA system is vulnerable to threats and cyber attacks. In this paper, we first review the SCADA system architectures that have been proposed/implemented followed by attacks on such systems to understand and highlight the evolving security needs for SCADA systems. A short investigation of the current state of intrusion detection techniques in SCADA systems is done , followed by a brief study of testbeds for SCADA systems. The cloud and Internet of things (IoT) based SCADA systems are studied by analysing the architecture of modern SCADA systems. This review paper ends by highlighting the critical research problems that need to be resolved to close the gaps in the security of SCADA systems.
