An elliptic analogue of Fukuhara's trigonometeric identities

We obtain new elliptic function identities, which are an elliptic analogue of Fukuhara's trigonometric identities. We show that the coefficients of Laurent expansions at $z=0$ of our elliptic identities give rise to some reciprocity laws for elliptic Dedekind sums.

New trigonometric identities and reciprocity laws of generalized Dedekind sums

We obtain new trigonometric identities, which are some product-to-sum type formulas for the higher derivative of the cotangent and cosecant functions. Further, from specializations of our formulas, we derive not only various known reciprocity laws of generalized Dedekind sums but also new reciprocity laws of generalized Dedekind sums.

Multivariate Meixner, Charlier and Krawtchouk polynomials

We introduce some multivariate analogues of Meixner, Charlier and Krawtchouk polynomials, and establish their main properties, that is, duality, degenerate limits, generating functions, orthogonality relations, difference equations, recurrence formulas and determinant expressions. A particularly important and interesting result is that "the generating function of the generating function" for the Meixner polynomials coincides with the generating function of the Laguerre polynomials, which has previously not been known even for the one variable case. Actually, main properties for the multivariate Meixner, Charlier and Krawtchouk polynomials are derived from some properties of the multivariate Laguerre polynomials by using this key result.

Bilateral zeta functions associated with the multiple sine functions

We introduce two types bilateral zeta functions, which are related to the primitive and normalized multiple sine functions respectively. Further, we establish their main properties, that is, Fourier expansions, analytic continuations, differential and difference equations, special values. By applying these results, we obtain not only some generalization of the primitive and normalized multiple sine functions but also simple construction of the multiple sine function theory.

Multivariate circular Jacobi polynomials

We introduce a new multivariate orthogonal polynomial which is a 2-parameter deformation of the spherical polynomial by harmonic analysis on symmetric cone. This is also regarded as a multivariate analogue of the circular Jacobi polynomial. Further, the weight function of its orthogonality relation coincides with the circular Jacobi ensemble defined by Bourgade et al.. We also obtain its main properties : generating function, pseudo differential equation and deteraminant expression.

Bilateral zeta functions and their applications

We introduce a new type of multiple zeta functions, which we call bilateral zeta functions, analogous to the Barnes zeta functions. The bilateral zeta function is a periodic function and shares certain basic properties of Barnes zeta function. Especially, we prove that the bilateral zeta function has a nice Fourier series expansion and the Barnes zeta function can be expressed as a finite sum of bilateral zeta functions. By these properties of the bilateral zeta functions, We obtain simple proofs of some formulas, for example the reflection formula for the multiple gamma function, the inversion formula of the Dedekind eta function, Ramanujan's formula, Fourier expansion of the Barnes zeta function and multiple Iseki's formula.

Operator orderings and Meixner-Pollaczek polynomials

The aim of this paper is to give identities which are generalizations of the formulas given by Koornwinder [J. Math. Phys. 30, (1989)] and Hamdi-Zeng [J. Math. Phys. 51, (2010)]. Our proofs are much simpler than and different from the previous investigations.
