AVSR-Diff: Scale-Agnostic Diffusion Priors for Temporally Consistent Arbitrary-Scale Video Super-Resolution

Diffusion models have significantly advanced video super-resolution (VSR) but remain largely constrained to fixed upsampling scales. Conversely, while coordinate-based arbitrary-scale VSR methods offer scale flexibility, they inherently suffer from severe over-smoothing at large scaling factors. Integrating generative priors with continuous decoding is promising but currently hindered by severe temporal flickering caused by the stochasticity of diffusion sampling. To address this, we propose AVSR-Diff (Arbitrary-scale Video Super-Resolution with Diffusion), a novel decoupled framework that separates scale-agnostic latent denoising from continuous coordinate rendering, effectively avoiding computationally heavy resolution-specific sampling. Our approach introduces a Temporally-Gated Feature Recurrence (TGFR) module to extract strictly aligned, temporally consistent latent priors. Furthermore, we design a continuous video VAE decoder incorporating a Scale-Aware Fourier Refinement (SAFR) module to dynamically adapt frequency components to any target scale. Extensive experiments demonstrate that AVSR-Diff consistently preserves high-frequency details and strong temporal stability across various scales, surpassing state-of-the-art arbitrary-scale baselines. Remarkably, our framework outperforms recent fixed-scale generative models even on their native resolution.

Less is More: Compact-Token Masked Feature Prediction for Skeleton Representation Learning

Current skeleton representation learning paradigms face distinct limitations: Contrastive Learning (CL) often overlooks fine-grained motion details, while Masked Auto-Encoders (MAE) rely on coordinate-level reconstruction. This reconstruction inherently demands dense token sequences and heavy decoders, wasting pre-training computation on discarded components and forcing downstream inference to process dense token grids. To resolve these bottlenecks, we propose SLiM (Skeleton Less is More), a compact-token framework that unifies masked feature prediction and contrastive learning via a shared encoder. By shifting the objective from raw coordinate reconstruction to decoder-free, teacher-guided feature prediction, SLiM breaks the reliance on dense tokenization and enables effective learning with a highly compact token grid. Crucially, to prevent trivial shortcut learning arising from strong inter-joint dependencies of human, we introduce Semantic Tube Masking together with Skeleton-Aware Augmentations to enforce deep skeletal-temporal reasoning and anatomical consistency. Extensive experiments across multiple downstream protocols demonstrate that SLiM achieves state-of-the-art performance while structurally reducing inference computation by 7.89$\times$ compared to dense-token MAE baselines.

FMA-Net++: Motion- and Exposure-Aware Joint Video Super-Resolution and Deblurring

Joint video super-resolution and deblurring (VSRDB) requires both efficient long-range temporal modeling and robustness to frame-wise exposure-duration variation, which changes the extent of motion blur across video frames. We propose FMA-Net++, a non-recurrent, sequence-level framework built from Hierarchical Refinement with Bidirectional Aggregation (HRBA) blocks. By stacking HRBA blocks, FMA-Net++ processes video frames in parallel while hierarchically expanding the temporal receptive field, avoiding the limited temporal receptive field of sliding-window designs and the sequential bottleneck of recurrent ones. To handle exposure-duration-dependent blur, we introduce an Exposure Time-aware Modulation (ETM) layer that conditions HRBA features on exposure embeddings from an Exposure Time-aware Feature Extractor (ETE). The conditioned features guide an exposure-aware flow-guided dynamic filtering module to predict motion- and exposure-aware degradation kernels. FMA-Net++ decouples degradation learning from restoration: the former predicts degradation priors and the latter exploits them for efficient high-resolution restoration. To evaluate VSRDB under controlled exposure-duration variation, we introduce the REDS-ME (multi-exposure) and REDS-RE (random-exposure) benchmarks. Trained solely on synthetic data, FMA-Net++ achieves state-of-the-art accuracy and temporal consistency on these benchmarks. It further shows strong out-of-distribution performance on GoPro and challenging real-world videos, while outperforming recent methods in both restoration quality and inference speed.

PAN-Crafter: Learning Modality-Consistent Alignment for PAN-Sharpening

PAN-sharpening aims to fuse high-resolution panchromatic (PAN) images with low-resolution multi-spectral (MS) images to generate high-resolution multi-spectral (HRMS) outputs. However, cross-modality misalignment -- caused by sensor placement, acquisition timing, and resolution disparity -- induces a fundamental challenge. Conventional deep learning methods assume perfect pixel-wise alignment and rely on per-pixel reconstruction losses, leading to spectral distortion, double edges, and blurring when misalignment is present. To address this, we propose PAN-Crafter, a modality-consistent alignment framework that explicitly mitigates the misalignment gap between PAN and MS modalities. At its core, Modality-Adaptive Reconstruction (MARs) enables a single network to jointly reconstruct HRMS and PAN images, leveraging PAN's high-frequency details as auxiliary self-supervision. Additionally, we introduce Cross-Modality Alignment-Aware Attention (CM3A), a novel mechanism that bidirectionally aligns MS texture to PAN structure and vice versa, enabling adaptive feature refinement across modalities. Extensive experiments on multiple benchmark datasets demonstrate that our PAN-Crafter outperforms the most recent state-of-the-art method in all metrics, even with 50.11$\times$ faster inference time and 0.63$\times$ the memory size. Furthermore, it demonstrates strong generalization performance on unseen satellite datasets, showing its robustness across different conditions.

FMA-Net: Flow-Guided Dynamic Filtering and Iterative Feature Refinement with Multi-Attention for Joint Video Super-Resolution and Deblurring

We present a joint learning scheme of video super-resolution and deblurring, called VSRDB, to restore clean high-resolution (HR) videos from blurry low-resolution (LR) ones. This joint restoration problem has drawn much less attention compared to single restoration problems. In this paper, we propose a novel flow-guided dynamic filtering (FGDF) and iterative feature refinement with multi-attention (FRMA), which constitutes our VSRDB framework, denoted as FMA-Net. Specifically, our proposed FGDF enables precise estimation of both spatio-temporally-variant degradation and restoration kernels that are aware of motion trajectories through sophisticated motion representation learning. Compared to conventional dynamic filtering, the FGDF enables the FMA-Net to effectively handle large motions into the VSRDB. Additionally, the stacked FRMA blocks trained with our novel temporal anchor (TA) loss, which temporally anchors and sharpens features, refine features in a course-to-fine manner through iterative updates. Extensive experiments demonstrate the superiority of the proposed FMA-Net over state-of-the-art methods in terms of both quantitative and qualitative quality.
