Proper Projective Symmetry in some well known Conformally flat Space-Times

A study of conformally flat but non flat Bianchi type I and cylindrically symmetric static space-times according to proper projective symmetry is given by using some algebraic and direct integration techniques. It is shown that the special class of the above space-times admit proper projective vector fields.

Proper Affine Vector Fields in Bianchi Type I Space-Times

A study of Bianchi type I space-times according to its proper affine vector field is given by using holonomy and decomposability, the rank of the Rieman matrix and direct integration techinques. It is shown that the special class of the above space-times admits proper affine vector fields.

Closed Form Approximations for the Trajectories of the Three Body Problem

The problem of describing the free motions of three gravitating bodies under each others gravitational influence is one of the oldest of unsolved problems of classical mechanics. Henry Poincare proved in his dictum that due to the nature of the instabilities involved in the problem, it could not be solved. Yet closed form approximations for the problem can be found and it is on these lines that we will explore the problem. It will be shown that closed form approximations for the associated trajectories can be found.

A Generalized approach for Approximate Solutions to the N Body Problem

An approach is developed to find approximate solutions to the classical Newtonian problem of N bodies. Sets of N gravitating bodies having spherically symmetric mass distributions, small angular velocities (< 1 rad/s) and bounded position vectors have been taken into consideration. In addition, it is assumed that the masses form an isolated system in free space and perform free gravitating motion. Although the problem is not exactly solvable, a new approach will be developed to find approximate solutions using N number of two body motion analogues.

A Generalized approach for computing the trajectories associated with the Newtonian N Body Problem

The Classical Newtonian problem of describing the free motions of N gravitating bodies which form an isolated system in free space has been considered. It is well known from the Poincares Dictum that the problem is not exactly solvable. Sets of N body systems composed of masses having spherical symmetry, appropriate angular velocities (< 1 rad/s) and bounded position vectors are examined. A procedure has been developed which yields expressions approximately defining the trajectories executed by the masses.

Closed Form Approximation Solutions for the Restricted Circular Three Body Problem

An approach is developed to find approximate solutions to the restricted circular three body problem. The solution is useful in approximately describing the position vectors of three spherically symmetric masses, one of which has a much smaller mass than the other two. These masses perform free motion under each others gravitational influence. The set of solutions is found using the lamberts wave function.
