The aim of this article is to find all weight modules of degree 1 of a simple complex Lie algebra that integrate to a continuous representation of a simply-connected real Lie group on some Hilbert space.
In this paper we initiate a study of the relation between weight modules for simple Lie algebras and unitary representations of the corresponding simply-connected Lie groups. In particular we consider in detail from this point of view the universal covering group of SU(1,1), including new results on the discrete part of tensor products of irreducible representations. As a consequence of these results, we show that the set of smooth vectors of the tensor product intersects trivially some of the representations in the discrete spectrum.
The category of all modules over a reductive complex Lie algebra is wild, and therefore it is useful to study full subcategories. For instance, Bernstein, Gelfand and Gelfand introduced a category of modules which provides a natural setting for highest weight modules. In this paper, we define a family of categories which generalizes the BGG category, and we classify the simple modules for a subfamily. As a consequence, we show that some of the obtained categories are semisimple.
In this article we prove a Howe correspondence for a family of representations of sl(2n), which was introduced by Benkart, Britten, and Lemire.
Given a reductive Lie algebra over the complex numbers, we introduce a family of category which generalises the BGG category $\mathcal{O}$. We also classify the simple modules for some of these categories and prove a semisimplicity result.
