Exact Solution of Bardeen Black Hole in Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity

We have obtained a new exact regular black hole solution for the EGB gravity coupled with nonlinear electrodynamics in AdS space. The numerical analysis of horizon structure suggests two horizons exist: Cauchy and event. We also study the thermal properties of this black hole, which satisfy the modified first law of thermodynamics. Moreover, we analyse the local and global stability of the black hole. The $P-V$ criticality and phase transition are also discussed. The critical exponents for the present model exactly match the mean field theory.

The Oscillatory Universe, phantom crossing and the Hubble tension

We investigate the validity of cosmological models with an oscillating scale factor in relation to late-time cosmological observations. We show that these models not only meet the required late time observational constraints but can also alleviate the Hubble tension. As a generic feature of the model, the Hubble parameter increases near the current epoch due to its cyclical nature exhibiting the phantom nature allowing to address the said issue related to late time acceleration.

Shadow of the $5D$ Reissner-Nordström AdS Black Hole

We discuss the shadow cast by the charged Reissner-Nordström (RN) AdS black hole. With the help of Killing equation and Hamilton-Jacobi equation, we calculate the geodesic equations for null particle. With the help of geodesics of null particle, we then determine the celestial coordinates ($α$, $β$) and the shadow radius of the RN AdS black hole. We present a graphical analysis of the black hole shadow and find that shadow is a perfectly dark circle. The impacts of charge and cosmological constant of the RN AdS black hole on the radius of shadow are also presented. In this connection, radius of the shadow is a decreasing function of the charge. Furthermore, we study the effects of plasma medium on the RN AdS black hole shadow. Here, we find that radius of circular shadow increases with increasing plasma parameter. In addition, we also discuss the energy emission rate of RN AdS black hole. The effects of parameters like charge, cosmological constant and plasma parameter on energy emission rate are analyzed graphically.

Metric-Affine Vector-Tensor Correspondence and Implications in $F(R,T,Q,\mathcal{T},\mathcal{D})$ gravity

We extend the results of antecedent literature on quadratic Metric-Affine Gravity by studying a new quadratic gravity action in vacuum which, besides the usual (non-Riemannian) Einstein-Hilbert contribution, involves all the parity even quadratic terms in torsion and non-metricity plus a Lagrangian that is quadratic in the field-strengths of the torsion and non-metricity vector traces. The theory result to be equivalent, on-shell, to a Vector-Tensor theory. We also discuss the sub-cases in which the contribution to the Lagrangian quadratic in the field-strengths of the torsion and non-metricity vectors just exhibits one of the aforementioned quadratic terms. We then report on implications of our findings in the context of $F(R,T,Q,\mathcal{T},\mathcal{D})$ gravity.

Camassa-Holm and M-CIV equations with self-consistent sources: geometry and peakon solutions

In this paper, we study one of generalized Heisenberg ferromagnet equations with self-consistent sources, namely, the so-called M-CIV equation with self-consistent sources (M-CIVESCS). The Lax representation of the M-CIVESCS is presented. We have shown that the M-CIVESCS and the CH equation with self-consistent sources (CHESCS) is geometrically equivalent each to other. The gauge equivalence between these equations is proved. Soliton (peakon) and pseudo-spherical surfaces induced by these equations are considered. The one peakon solution of the M-CIVESCS is presented.
