Commutativity criteria for prime rings with involution via pairs of endomorphisms

The aim of this article is to investigate central-valued identities involving pairs of endomorphisms on prime rings equipped with an involution of the second kind. Extending the recent contributions of Mir et al. (2020) and Boua et al. (2024), we establish several new commutativity criteria for such rings in the presence of two distinct nontrivial endomorphisms. Our approach provides a unified technique that covers multiple classes of $\ast$-identities and yields generalizations of earlier single-endomorphism results. Moreover, explicit counterexamples are constructed to demonstrate the necessity of the hypotheses on primeness and on the nature of the involution.

On derivations and semiprime ideal of rings

Let $R$ be an associative ring with a nonzero ideal $I$ and a semiprime ideal $T$ such that $T\subsetneq I.$ Let $K$ be a nonempty subset of $R$ and $d:R\to R$ be a derivation of $R$, if $[d(x),x]\in T$ for all $x\in K,$ then $d$ is said to be a $T$-commuting derivation on $K.$ We show that if some specific $T$-valued differential identities are imposed on $I$, then d is $T$-commuting. Moreover, we provide semiprime ideal variant of some known results on derivations.

On centrally extended Jordan derivations and related maps in rings

Let $R$ be a ring and $Z(R)$ be the center of $R.$ The aim of this paper is to define the notions of centrally extended Jordan derivations and centrally extended Jordan $\ast$-derivations, and to prove some results involving these mappings. Precisely, we prove that if a $2$-torsion free noncommutative prime ring $R$ admits a centrally extended Jordan derivation (resp. centrally extended Jordan $\ast$-derivation) $δ:R\to R$ such that \[ [δ(x),x]\in Z(R)~~(resp.~~[δ(x),x^{\ast}]\in Z(R))\text{~for~all~}x\in R, \] where $'\ast'$ is an involution on $R,$ then $R$ is an order in a central simple algebra of dimension at most 4 over its center.

Additivity of Reverse Derivable Maps

Let $R$ be any ring containing a non-tivial idempotent element $e$. Let $\Im: R\rightarrow R$ be a mapping such that $\Im(ab)=\Im(b)a+b\Im(a)$ for all $a,b\in R$. In this note, our aim is to show that under some suitable restrictions imposed on $R,$ $\Im$ is additive.
