Testing a possible W and Z structure at the LHC/CERN

One of the first channels to be experimentally analyzed at the LHC is $ p + p \longrightarrow l^+ + l ^- + X $. A resonance in this channel would be a clear indication of a new gauge neutral boson, as proposed in many extended models. In this paper we call attention to the possibility that the new resonance in this channel could have spin zero. A new high mass spin zero state could be a strong indication of the composite nature of the standard model particles. We have made a comparison between spin zero and spin one for the new hypothetical heavy gauge particle production and decays and we show some distributions that can easily identify their spins.

The muon g-2 in a SU(7) left-right symmetric model with mirror fermions

We have studied a left-right symmetric model with mirror fermions based in a grand unified SU(7) model in order to account for the muon anomaly. The Higgs sector of the model contains two Higgs doublets and the hierarchy condition $\upsilon_{L}\ll\upsilon_{R}$ can be achieved by using two additional Higgs singlets, one even and other odd under $\mathcal{D}$-parity. We show that there is a wide range of values for the mass parameters of the model that is consistent with the $g-2$ lepton anomalies. Radiative correction to the mass of the ordinary fermions are shown to be small.

Spontaneous parity violation and minimal Higgs models

In this paper we present a model for the spontaneous breaking of parity with two Higgs doublets and two neutral Higgs singlets which are even and odd under D-parity. The condition $ v_R >>v_L $ can be satisfied without introducing bidoublets and it is induced by the breaking of D-parity through the vacuum expectation value of the odd Higgs singlet. Examples of left-right symmetric and mirror fermions models in grand unified theories are presented.

Physics Beyond the Standard Model: Focusing on the Muon Anomaly

We present a model based on the implication of an exceptional E_{6}-GUT symmetry for the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon. We follow a particular chain of breakings with Higgses in the 78 and 351 representations. We analyse the radiative correction contributions to the muon mass and the effects of the breaking of the so-called Weinberg symmetry. We also estimate the range of values of the parameters of our model.

Superheavy particles either for UHECR of for muon anomaly

We show that, according to the scheme of spontaneous breakings starting from a GUT with symmetry E6, it is possible that either a superheavy particle without ordinary interactions is source of ultra-high energy cosmic rays or a not so heavy lepton mixes with muon explaining the recently observed discrepancy of the anomalous magnetic moment of the latter.
