Berry Phase in Pathangled Systems

We introduce pathangled quantum states, spatially correlated systems governed via production angles, to achieve geometric control of entanglement beyond spin/polarization constraints. By driving the system through cyclic adiabatic evolution of an external parameter in Mach-Zehnder interferometers, we demonstrate that Berry phases and production angles become additional degrees of freedom for Bell correlations. We identify an approximate critical angle $24.97^\circ$ that geometrically manifests the Bell-limit for certain measurement settings, delineating boundaries between local-hidden-variable theories and quantum mechanics. This framework simplifies state preparation while enabling geometry-driven entanglement control, thus providing distinct experimental advantages.

Concurrence-Driven Path Entanglement in Phase-Modified Interferometry

In this study, a novel experimental setup analogous to joint spin/polarization measurement experiments is proposed by establishing a direct relationship between path (momentum) entanglement and concurrence. The results demonstrate that joint-detection probabilities can be governed not only by phase shifts but also by concurrence, which arises from the angle between the motion direction of particles from the same source and the Beam Splitter (BS) axis. This approach aims to set a new standard in entanglement measurement by integrating path entanglement within a concurrence-based framework. Here, we first examine phase-retarder-modified Mach-Zehnder (MZ) configurations within single-quanton systems, subsequently extending this approach to two-quanton systems to establish a connection between spatial correlations and concurrence. Last, by analyzing joint-detection probabilities across various BS configurations, we evaluate the potential of these setups as analogs for spin/polarization measurement experiments.

Time-dependent Aharonov-Bohm type topological effects on dipoles

Exploring the time-dependent characteristics of AB-type effects holds significant importance in contemporary physics and its practical applications. Here, we delve into the investigation of time-dependent topological effects emerging in AB-type experimental setups. We first analyze the topological effects on magnetic dipoles moving in closed trajectories around the time-varying magnetic field source solenoid, then on electrical dipoles around a time-varying electric field source in 2+1 dimensions without any approximation. Last, we discuss the characteristics of the topological effects by considering the identity and dualities between phases from an integrated perspective.

Testing Bell-CHSH Inequalities Using topological Aharonov-Casher and He-McKellar-Wilkens Phases

The effects of Aharonov-Casher (AC) and He-McKellar-Wilkens (HMW) phases on entangled spin-1/2 quantum systems are investigated. We use linear charge distributions positioned at the center of resulting closed orbits, capitalizing on Mach Zender-type interferometers modified with phase retarders to unveil the topological effects. We analyze how AC-HMW phases influence the Bell angles and maximal violation of Bell-CHSH inequalities (BI) without any classical interaction. We incorporate the spin and path of particles in the interferometers as observables to test noncontextual hidden variable theories against quantum mechanics, leveraging the non-local features of AC-HMW effects. Furthermore, we discuss potential implementations of our scheme in physical systems.

On the geometric phases in entangled states

Correlation relations for the spin measurements on a pair of entangled particles scattered by the two separate arms of interferometers in hybrid setups of different types are investigated. Concurrence, entanglement of formation, quantum fidelity, Bures distance are used to clarify how the geometric phase affects the initial bipartite state. This affect causes a quantum interference due to the movement of charged particles in regions where electromagnetic fields are not present. We shown that in some cases the geometric phase information is carried over to the final bipartite entangled state.

Investigation of the Aharonov-Bohm and Aharonov-Casher Topological Phases for Quantum Entangled States in 2+1 Dimensions

Aharonov-Bohm (AB) and Aharonov-Casher (AC) effects are treated fully relativistically in 2+1 dimensions. The influences of the relevant geometric and topological phases on an entangled spin-1/2 system are studied. It is shown that for the AC case the correlation function of the Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt (CHSH) inequality for certain choices of the spin measurements depends on the AC phase explicitly.
