Height estimates for surfaces with some constant curvature in $\mathbb{r} \times_{f} \mathbb{r}^{2}$

In this paper, we obtain the necessary equations in a conformal parameter induced by the first or second fundamental forms for a surface that is isometrically immersed in the warped product $\mathbb{R} \times_{f} \mathbb{M}^{2}(κ)$ where $\mathbb{M}^{2}(κ)$ denotes the complete, connected, simply connected, two-dimensional space form of constant curvature. The surface we will consider has either positive extrinsic curvature or positive mean curvature. In each case, we carry out some geometric applications to the theory of constant curvature surfaces immersed in $\mathbb{R} \times_{f} \mathbb{R}^{2}$ under certain conditions on the warping function $f$. Specifically, we derive height estimates for graph-type surfaces with either positive constant extrinsic curvature or positive constant mean curvature. In particular, we classify compact minimal graphs in such warped products. This article extends previous work on the study of constant curvature surfaces immersed in product spaces using conformal parameters, as well as the height estimates for constant curvature surfaces in the warped product $\mathbb{R} \times_{f} \mathbb{R}^{2}$.

Elliptic Weingarten surfaces of minimal type in $\mathbb{R} \times_{h} \mathbb{R}$

In this paper, we study the elliptic Weingarten surfaces of minimal type immersed in the warped product space $\mathbb{R} \times_{h} \mathbb{R}$, when $h$ is a $C^{1}$-function in $\mathbb{R}^{2}$ with radial symmetry. That is, surfaces whose mean curvature $H$ and extrinsic curvature $K$ satisfy a relationship $H=f(H^{2}-K)$ where $f \in C^{1}(-ε,+\infty)$ with $ε> 0$, $f(0)=0$ and $4t(f'(t))^{2} < 1$ for $t \in (-ε,\infty)$. We show, under some assumptions about the warping function $h$, the existence and uniqueness of the rotationally-invariant examples of elliptic Weingarten of minimal type surfaces immersed in $\mathbb{R} \times_{h} \mathbb{R}$ as well as we study the geometric behavior of its generating curve.

Capillary Immersions in E($κ$,$τ$)

In [3] and [11] the authors showed the existence of a Codazzi pair defined on any constant mean curvature surface in the homogeneous spaces E($κ$,$τ$) associated to the Abresch-Rosenberg differential. In this paper, we use the mentioned Codazzi pair to classify capillary disks in E($κ$,$τ$). As a consequence, the results presented in this paper generalize the previous classification of constant mean curvature disks in the product spaces $\mathbb{S}^2 \times \mathbb{R}$ and $\mathbb{H}^2 \times \mathbb{R}$ in [4] and [5].

The Abresch-Rosenberg Shape Operator and applications

There exists a holomorphic quadratic differential defined on any $H-$ surface immersed in the homogeneous space $\mathbb{E}(κ,τ)$ given by U. Abresch and H. Rosenberg, called the Abresch-Rosenberg differential. However, there were no Codazzi pair on such $H-$surface associated to the Abresch-Rosenberg differential when $τ\neq 0$. The goal of this paper is to find a geometric Codazzi pair defined on any $H-$surface in $\mathbb{E}(κ,τ)$, when $τ\neq 0$, whose $(2,0)-$part is the Abresch-Rosenberg differential. In particular, this allows us to compute a Simons' type formula for $H-$surfaces in $\mathbb{E}(κ,τ)$. We apply such Simons' type formula, first, to study the behavior of complete $H-$surfaces $Σ$ of finite Abresch-Rosenberg total curvature immersed in $\mathbb{E}(κ,τ)$. Second, we estimate the first eigenvalue of any Schrödinger operator $L= Δ+ V$, $V$ continuous, defined on such surfaces. Finally, together with the Omori-Yau's Maximum Principle, we classify complete $H-$surfaces in $\mathbb{E}(κ,τ)$, $τ\neq 0$, satisfying a lower bound on $H$ depending on $κ$ and $τ$.
