Conditional Davis Pricing

We study the set of marginal utility-based prices of a financial derivative in the case where the investor has a non-replicable random endowment. We provide an example showing that even in the simplest of settings - such as Samuelson's geometric Brownian motion model - the interval of marginal utility-based prices can be a non-trivial strict subinterval of the set of all no-arbitrage prices. This is in stark contrast to the case with a replicable endowment where non- uniqueness is exceptional. We provide formulas for the end points for these prices and illustrate the theory with several examples.

Second order stochastic target problems with generalized market impact

We extend the study of [7, 18] to stochastic target problems with general market impacts. Namely, we consider a general abstract model which can be associated to a fully nonlinear parabolic equation. Unlike [7, 18], the equation is not concave and the regularization/verification approach of [7] can not be applied. We also relax the gamma constraint of [7]. In place, we need to generalize the a priori estimates of [18] and exhibit smooth solutions from the classical parabolic equations theory. Up to an additional approximating argument, this allows us to show that the super-hedging price solves the parabolic equation and that a perfect hedging strategy can be constructed when the coefficients are smooth enough. This representation leads to a general dual formulation. We finally provide an asymptotic expansion around a model without impact.

Duality and Convergence for Binomial Markets with Friction

We prove limit theorems for the super-replication cost of European options in a Binomial model with friction. The examples covered are markets with proportional transaction costs and the illiquid markets. The dual representation for the super-replication cost in these models are obtained and used to prove the limit theorems. In particular, the existence of the liquidity premium for the continuous time limit of the model proposed in [6] is proved. Hence, this paper extends the previous convergence result of [13] to the general non-Markovian case. Moreover, the special case of small transaction costs yields, in the continuous limit, the $G$-expectation of Peng as earlier proved by Kusuoka in [14].
