Vortex dynamics of charge carriers in the quasirelativistic graphene model : high-energy $\vec k\cdot \vec p$ approximation

Within the earlier developed high-energy-$\vec k\cdot \vec p$-Hamiltonian approach to describe graphene-like materials the simulations of non-Abelian Zak phases and band structure of the quasi-relativistic graphene model with a flavors number $N=3$ have been performed in approximations with %of zero- and non-zero values of and without gauge fields (flavors). It has been shown that a Zak-phases set for non-Abelian Majorana-like excitations (modes) in Dirac valleys of the quasirelativistic graphene model is the cyclic group $\mathbf{Z}_{12}$. This group is deformed into $\mathbf{Z}_8$ at sufficiently high momenta due to deconfinement of the modes. Since the deconfinement removes the degeneracy of the eightfolding valleys, Weyl nodes and antinodes emerge. We offer that a Majorana-like mass term of the quasirelativistic model effects on the graphene band structure in a following way. Firstly the inverse symmetry emerges at "switching on"\ of the mass term, and secondly the mass term shifts the location of Weyl nodes and antinodes into the region of higher energies and accordingly the Majorana-like modes can exist without mixing with the nodes.

Non-Abelian Charge Transport in Three-Flavor Gauge Semimetal Model with Braiding Majoranas

Known Majorana fermions models are considered as promising ones for the purposes of quantum computing robust to decoherence. One of the most expecting but unachieved goals is an effective control for braiding of Majoranas. Another one is to describe ${\mathbb{Z}}_2$ topological semimetals, APRES spectra of which testify on eight-fold degenerate chiral fermions with $SU(2)$ holonomy of wave functions, whereas the last can not be reproduced within existing models. Quasi-relativistic theory of non-abelian quantum charge transport in topological semimetals is developed for a model with a number of flavors equal three. Majorana-like quasi-particle excitations in the model are described with accounting of dynamic mass term arising due to relativistic exchange interactions. Such exotic features of $\mathbb{Z}_2$ semimetals as splitting zero-conductance peaks, longitudinal magnetoresistance, minimal direct current conductivity, negative differential conductivity have been calculated in perfect agreement with experimental data. We propose a new scheme of braiding for three flavor Majorana-like fermions with new non-trivial braiding operator. We demonstrate that in this model, the presence of chiral Majorana-like bound states is controlled as emergence of three pairs of resonance-antiresonance in frequency dependence of dielectric permeability.

Quasi-relativistic calculus of graphene monolayer minimal conductivity

We introduce a quasi-relativistic theory of quantum transport in graphene monolayer. It is based on the Dirac -- Hartry -- Fock self-consistent field approximation, assumption on lattice anti-ferromagnetic ordering and an approach [Falkovsky and Varlamov, Eur.~Phys.~J. {\bf B 56}, 281(2007)]. Minimal conductivity of graphene is shown to be $4.83$ (in units of $e^2/h$) when accounting for non-relativistic current only. Allowing for quasi-relativistic corrections to current due to process of pairs production and magneto-electric effects we obtain the results for the minimal conductivity which are in a very good agreement with experimental data for different supports.

Effects of many-electron atom polarization in electron-hole formalism

The method has been developed to calculate effects of polarization not only for a atomic core in a field of valent electron, but also polarization of atom as a whole in the electron-hole formalism. A secondary quantized density matrix for many-electron system was used to find the Green function of a quasiparticle and its effective mass due to many-particle effects.

Variation Principle for Calculation of Many-Particle Effects in Crystals

Variation principle has been developed to calculate many-particle effects in crystals. Within the framework of quasi-particle concept the variation principle has been used to find one-electron states with taking into account of effects due to non-locality of electronic density functional in electromagnetic fields. A secondary quantized density matrix was used to find the Green function of a quasiparticle and changes of its effective mass due to correlated motion of interacting electrons.

A projection operator technique for solution of relativistic wave equation on non-compact group: the case of a charged vector-boson

A projection operator technique for solution of relativistic wave equation on non-compact group has been proposed. This technique was applied to the construction of wave equations for charged vector boson in a potential field. The equations were shown to approximately describe a hydrogen-like atom and allow estimating of relativistic corrections such as a fine structure of hydrogen atom lines with high accuracy.
