Gravitating Dyons in Vaidya Geometry

Gravitating monopoles and dyons in Einstein-Yang-Mills (EYM) or Einstein-Yang-Mills-Higgs (EYMH) systems have been extensively studied for various curved spacetimes, including those of black holes. We construct dyonic solutions of the EYMH theory in Vaidya spacetime using a set of generalized Julia-Zee ansatz for the fields. It is found that the dyonic charge is static in nature and it does not contribute to the energy of the null dust.

Scalar-field Pressure in Induced Gravity with Higgs Potential and Dark Matter

A model of induced gravity with a Higgs potential is investigated in detail in view of the pressure components related to the scalar-field excitations. The physical consequences emerging as an artifact due to the presence of these pressure terms are analysed in terms of the constraints parting from energy density, solar-relativistic effects and galactic dynamics along with the dark matter halos.

Black Hole Solutions and Pressure Terms in Induced Gravity with Higgs Potential

We study the quintessential properties of the Black Hole solutions in a scalar--tensor theory of gravity with Higgs potential in view of the static and spherically symmetric line element. In view of our earlier results, Reissner--Nordström-like and Schwarzschild Black Hole solutions are derived with the introduction of a series-expansion method to solve the field equations without and with Higgs field mass. The physical consequences of the Black Hole solutions and the solutions obtained in the weak field limit are discussed in detail by the virtue of the equation-of-state parameter, the scalar-field excitations and the geodesic motion. The appearance of naked singularities is also discussed together with the dependence of Black Hole horizons on the field excitations, which are themselves dependent on pressure terms which effectively screen the mass terms. A possible connection to flat rotation curves following the interaction with the scalar field is also presented in the weak field limit of gravity, together with a discussion of dynamical effects of scalar fields and pressure terms on mass.

Non-minimal monopoles of the Dirac type as realization of the censorship conjecture

We discuss a class of exact solutions of a three-parameter non-minimally extended Einstein-Maxwell model, which are attributed to non-minimal magnetic monopoles of the Dirac type. We focus on the investigation of the gravitational field of Dirac monopoles for those models, for which the singularity at the central point is hidden inside of an event horizon independently on the mass and charge of the object. We obtained the relationships between the non-minimal coupling constants, for which this requirement is satisfied. As explicit examples, we consider in detail two one-parameter models: first, non-minimally extended Reissner-Nordström model (for the magnetically charged monopole), second, the Drummond-Hathrell model.

Effective metrics in the non-minimal Einstein-Yang-Mills-Higgs theory

We formulate a self-consistent non-minimal five-parameter Einstein-Yang-Mills-Higgs (EYMH) model and analyse it in terms of effective (associated, color and color-acoustic) metrics. We use a formalism of constitutive tensors in order to reformulate master equations for the gauge, scalar and gravitational fields and reconstruct in the algebraic manner the so-called associated metrics for the Yang-Mills field. Using WKB-approximation we find color metrics for the Yang-Mills field and color-acoustic metric for the Higgs field in the framework of five-parameter EYMH model. Based on explicit representation of these effective metrics for the EYMH system with uniaxial symmetry, we consider cosmological applications for Bianchi-I, FLRW and de Sitter models. We focus on the analysis of the obtained expressions for velocities of propagation of longitudinal and transversal color and color-acoustic waves in a (quasi)vacuum interacting with curvature; we show that curvature coupling results in time variations of these velocities. We show, that the effective metrics can be regular or can possess singularities depending on the choice of the parameters of non-minimal coupling in the cosmological models under discussion. We consider a physical interpretation of such singularities in terms of phase velocities of color and color-acoustic waves, using the terms ``wave stopping'' and ``trapped surface''.

Non-minimal pp-wave Einstein-Yang-Mills-Higgs model: color cross-effects induced by curvature

Non-minimal interactions in the pp-wave Einstein - Yang - Mills - Higgs (EYMH) model are shown to give rise to color cross-effects analogous to the magneto-electricity in the Maxwell theory. In order to illustrate the significance of these color cross-effects, we reconstruct the effective (associated, color and color-acoustic) metrics for the pp-wave non-minimal seven-parameter EYMH model with parallel gauge and scalar background fields. Then these metrics are used as hints for obtaining explicit exact solutions of the non-minimally extended Yang-Mills and Higgs equations for the test fields propagating in the vacuum interacting with curvature. The influence of the non-minimal coupling on the test particle motion is interpreted in terms of the so-called trapped surfaces, introduced in the Analog Gravity theory.

Horizon-less Spherically Symmetric Vacuum-Solutions in a Higgs Scalar-Tensor Theory of Gravity

The exact static and spherically symmetric solutions of the vacuum field equations for a Higgs Scalar-Tensor theory (HSTT) are derived in Schwarzschild coordinates. It is shown that in general there exists no Schwarzschild horizon and that the fields are only singular (as naked singularity) at the center (i.e. for the case of a pont-particle). However, the Schwarzschild solution as in usual general relativity (GR) is obtained for the vanishing limit of Higgs field excitations.

Time evolution of the unstable two-fluid density fluctuations in Robertson-Walker Universes

We consider density fluctuations of a two-fluid model consisting of hydrogen plasma and radiation prior to the cosmic hydrogen recombination. As investigation method that of the dispersion relations is applied, which have been derived from the general-relativistic sound-wave equations taking into account the coupling between plasma and radiation carefully. We obtain growing unstable acoustic modes within the mass range 2 \cdot 10^6 M_\odot < M < 6 \cdot 10^{12} M_\odot. In a second step the coupled differential equations for the amplitudes of the unstable modes are integrated numerically with respect to time where the integration extends from the initial time prior to the hydrogen recombination up to the present time. We find a significant increase of the amplitudes up to 4 orders of magnitude, if the Universe is described by a cosmological model with a positive cosmological constant (Λ\simeq 2,2 \cdot 10^{-56} {cm}^{-2}) and a positive curvature (Lema\^\itre-Universe) without an essential amount of cold dark matter. We conclude that the existence of galaxies confirm these statements.

Locally Anisotropic Structures and Nonlinear Connections in Einstein and Gauge Gravity

We analyze local anisotropies induced by anholonomic frames and associated nonlinear connections in general relativity and extensions to affine Poincare and de Sitter gauge gravity and different types of Kaluza-Klein theories. We construct some new classes of cosmological solutions of gravitational field equations describing Friedmann-Robertson-Walker like universes with rotation (ellongated and flattened) ellipsoidal or torus symmetry.

Nonlinear Connections and Nearly Autoparallel Maps in General Relativity

We apply the method of moving anholonomic frames, with associated nonlinear connections, in (pseudo) Riemannian spaces and examine the conditions when various types of locally anisotropic (la) structures (Lagrange, Finsler like and more general ones) could be modeled in general relativity. New classes of solutions of the Einstein equations with generic local anisotropy are constructed. We formulate the theory of nearly autoparallel (na) maps and introduce the tensorial na-integration as the inverse operation to both covariant derivation and deformation of connections by na-maps. The problem of redefinition of the Einstein gravity theory on na-backgrounds, provided with a set of na-map invariant conditions and local conservation laws, is analyzed. There are illustrated some examples of generation of vacuum Einstein fields by Finsler like metrics and chains of na-maps.

Isospin from Spin by Compositenes

We propose a new method to generate the internal isospin degree of freedom by non-local bound states. This can be seen as motivated by Bargmann-Wigner like considerations, which originated from local spin coupling. However, our approach is not of purely group theoretical origin, but emerges from a geometrical model. The rotational part of the Lorentz group can be seen to mutate into the internal iso-group under some additional assumptions. The bound states can thereafter be characterized by either a triple of spinors (ξ_1, ξ_2, η) or a pair of an average spinor and a ``gauge'' transformation (ϕ, R). Therefore, this triple can be considered to be an isospinor. Inducing the whole dynamics from the covariant gauge coupling we arrive at an isospin gauge theory and its Lagrangian formulation. Clifford algebraic methods, especially the Hestenes approach to the geometric meaning of spinors, are the most useful concepts for such a development. The method is not restricted to isospin, which served as an example only.
