Galilean relativity and its invariant bilinear forms

We construct the family of bilinear forms gG on R3+1 for which Galilean boosts and spatial rotations are isometries. The key feature of these bilinear forms is that they are parametrized by a Galilean invariant vector whose physical interpretation is rather unclear. At the end of the paper, we construct the Poisson bracket associated with the (nondegenerate) antisymmetric part of gG.

Convolution product construction of interactions in probabilistic physical models

This paper aims to give a probabilistic construction of interactions which may be relevant for building physical theories such as interacting quantum field theories. We start with the path integral definition of partition function in quantum field theory which recall us the probabilistic nature of this physical theory. From a Gaussian law considered as free theory, an interacting theory is constructed by nontrivial convolution product between the free theory and an interacting term which is also a probability law. The resulting theory, again a probability law, exhibits two proprieties already present in nowadays theories of interactions such as Gauge theory : the interaction term does not depend on the free term, and two different free theories can be implemented with the same interaction. The direct use of Gaussian measures allows to generalize the present construction for infinite dimensional spaces equipped with Gaussian measures.

Some convolution products in Quantum Field Theory

This paper aims to show constructions of scale dependence and interaction on some probabilistic models which may be revelant for renormalization theory in Quantum Field Theory. We begin with a review of the convolution product's use in the Kreimer-Connes formalism of perturbative renormalization. We show that the Wilson effective action can be obtained from a convolution product propriety of regularized Gaussian measures on the space of fields. Then, we propose a natural C*-algebraic framework for scale dependent field theories which may enhance the conceptual approach to renormalization theory. In the same spirit, we introduce a probabilistic construction of interacting theories for simple models and apply it for quantum field theory by defining a partition function in this setting.

Feynman diagrams, Hopf algebras and renormalization

This paper gives a review of Connes-Kreimer formulation of perturbative renormalization in Quantum Field Theory. We begin with the derivation of the Feynman calculus, the Hopf algebra structure on Feynman diagrams and we show the natural occurence of Birkhoff decomposition in perturbative renormalization. Most of proofs is added in the present paper.
