Ohno-type relation for interpolated multiple zeta values

We prove the Ohno-type relation for the interpolated multiple zeta values, which was introduced first by Yamamoto. Same type results for finite multiple zeta values are also given. Moreover, these relations give the sum formula for interpolated multiple zeta values and interpolated $\mathcal{F}$-multiple zeta values, which were proved by Yamamoto and Seki, respectively.

On the $a$-points of symmetric sum of multiple zeta function

In this paper, we present some results on the $a$-points of the symmetric sum of the Euler-Zagier multiple zeta function. Our first three results are for the $a$-points free region of the function. The fourth result is the Riemann-von Mangoldt type formula. In the last two results, we study the real parts of $a$-points of the function.

Connectors of the Ohno relation for parametrized multiple zeta series

The Ohno relation is a well known relation in the theory of multiple zeta values. Recently, Seki and Yamamoto introduced a connector method and gave its succinct proof. On the other hand, Igarashi obtained the generalization of the Ohno relation for parametrized multiple zeta series. In this paper, we give new connectors to simplify his proof.

Generating functions for sums of polynomial multiple zeta values

The sum formulas for multiple zeta(-star) values and symmetric multiple zeta(-star) values bear a striking resemblance. We explain the resemblance in a rather straightforward manner using an identity that involves the Schur multiple zeta values. We also obtain the sum formula for polynomial multiple zeta(-star) values in terms of generating functions, simultaneously generalizing the sum formulas for multiple zeta(-star) values and symmetric multiple zeta(-star) values.

Algebraic aspects of rooted tree maps

Based on the Connes--Kreimer Hopf algebra of rooted trees, the rooted tree maps are defined as linear maps on noncommutative polynomial algebra in two indeterminates. It is known that they induce a large class of linear relations for multiple zeta values. In this paper, we investigate some basic algebraic properties of rooted tree maps by relating to the harmonic algebra. We also characterize the antipode maps as the conjugation by the special map $τ$.

Yamamoto's interpolation of finite multiple zeta and zeta-star values

We study a polynomial interpolation of finite multiple zeta and zeta-star values with variable $t$, which is an analogue of interpolated multiple zeta values introduced by Yamamoto. We introduce several relations among them and, in particular, prove the cyclic sum formula, the Bowman-Bradley type formula, and the weighted sum formula. The harmonic relation, the shuffle relation, the duality relation, and the derivation relation are also presented.

Ohno type relations for classical and finite multiple zeta-star values

Ohno's relation is a generalization of both the sum formula and the duality formula for multiple zeta values. Oyama gave a similar relation for finite multiple zeta values, defined by Kaneko and Zagier. In this paper, we prove relations of similar nature for both multiple zeta-star values and finite multiple zeta-star values. Our proof for multiple zeta-star values uses the linear part of Kawashima's relation.

On a basis for Euler-Zagier double zeta functions with non-positive components

For a non-negative integer $N$, let $\mathcal{Z}_{N}:=\sum^N_{c = 0} \mathbb{Q} \cdot ζ(-c,s+c)$, where the right-hand side is the vector space spanned by the Euler-Zagier double zeta functions over $\mathbb{Q}$. In this paper, we show that $\mathcal{Z}_{N} =\bigoplus^{N}_{c = 0 : \text{even}} \mathbb{Q} \cdot ζ(-c,s+c)$, where $\bigoplus$ is the direct sum of vector spaces. Moreover, we give a family of relations that exhaust all $\mathbb{Q}$-linear relations on $\mathcal{Z}_{N}$.

On variants of symmetric multiple zeta-star values and the cyclic sum formula

The $t$-adic symmetric multiple zeta values were defined Jarossay, which have been studied as a real analogue of $\boldsymbol{p}$-adic finite multiple zeta values. In this paper, we consider the star analogues based on several regularization processes of multiple zeta-star values: harmonic regularization, shuffle regularization, and Kaneko-Yamamoto's type regularization. We also present the cyclic sum formula for $t$-adic symmetric multiple zeta(-star) values, which is the counterpart of that for $\boldsymbol{p}$-adic finite multiple zeta(-star) values obtained by Kawasaki. The proof uses our new relationship that connects the cyclic sum formula for $t$-adic symmetric multiple zeta-star values and that for the multiple zeta-star values.

Linear relations of Ohno sums of multiple zeta values

Ohno's relation is a well-known family of relations among multiple zeta values, which can naturally be regarded as a type of duality for a certain power series which we call an Ohno sum. In this paper, we investigate $\mathbb{Q}$-linear relations among Ohno sums which are not contained in Ohno's relation. We prove two new families of such relations, and pose several further conjectural families of such relations.

$\mathbb{Q}$-linear relations of specific families of multiple zeta values and the linear part of Kawashima's relation

In this paper, we study specific families of multiple zeta values which closely relate to the linear part of Kawashima's relation. We obtain an explicit basis of these families, and investigate their interpolations to complex functions. As a corollary of our main results, we also see that the duality formula and the derivation relation are deduced from the linear part of Kawashima's relation.

Quasi-derivation relations for multiple zeta values revisited

We take another look at the so-called quasi-derivation relations in the theory of multiple zeta values, by giving a certain formula for the quasi-derivation operator. In doing so, we are not only able to prove the quasi-derivation relations in a simpler manner but also give an analog of the quasi-derivation relations for finite multiple zeta values.

Bowman-Bradley type theorem for finite multiple zeta values in $\mathcal{A}_2$

Bowman and Bradley obtained a remarkable formula among multiple zeta values. The formula states that the sum of multiple zeta values for indices which consist of the shuffle of two kinds of the strings $\{1,3,\ldots,1,3\}$ and $\{2,\ldots,2\}$ is a rational multiple of a power of $π^2$. Recently, Saito and Wakabayashi proved that analogous but more general sums of finite multiple zeta values in an adelic ring $\mathcal{A}_1$ vanish. In this paper, we partially lift Saito-Wakabayashi's theorem from $\mathcal{A}_1$ to $\mathcal{A}_2$. Our result states that a Bowman-Bradley type sum of finite multiple zeta values in $\mathcal{A}_2$ is a rational multiple of a special element and this is closer to the original Bowman-Bradley theorem.

Generating functions for Ohno type sums of finite and symmetric multiple zeta-star values

Ohno's relation states that a certain sum, which we call an Ohno type sum, of multiple zeta values remains unchanged if we replace the base index by its dual index. In view of Oyama's theorem concerning Ohno type sums of finite and symmetric multiple zeta values, Kaneko looked at Ohno type sums of finite and symmetric multiple zeta-star values and made a conjecture on the generating function for a specific index of depth three. In this paper, we confirm this conjecture and further give a formula for arbitrary indices of depth three.

Polynomial generalization of the regularization theorem for multiple zeta values

Ihara, Kaneko, and Zagier defined two regularizations of multiple zeta values and proved the regularization theorem that describes the relation between those regularizations. We show that the regularization theorem can be generalized to polynomials whose coefficients are regularizations of multiple zeta values and that specialize to symmetric multiple zeta values defined by Kaneko and Zagier.
