ARC-STAR: Auditable Post-Hoc Correction for PDE Foundation Models

Partial differential equation (PDE) foundation models are pretrained networks that forecast how physical fields like velocity and pressure evolve from a single reusable solver. On unfamiliar flows their predictions drift step by step, errors concentrate in a few regions, yet retraining destabilizes the network and uniform post-hoc correction overlooks this spatial concentration. To address this, we propose a frozen-solver post-hoc correction framework, Adaptive Risk-Calibrated Spatial Triage for Auditable Refinement (ARC-STAR). ARC-STAR organizes correction into three stages: a global corrector removes broad solver bias, a blockwise local refiner cleans the post-global residual, and, at deployment, a label-free score routes refinement to high-risk blocks under a compute budget. The framework is designed to be (i) frozen-host, preserving the pretrained solver without fine-tuning; (ii) auditable, with global and local stages trained and evaluated separately for measurable contributions; and (iii) budget-aware, using a blockwise interface that either refines the full field or routes limited compute to high-risk regions. Across five flow benchmarks spanning ten regime cells, ARC-STAR is the only method that cuts velocity rollout error by at least 36x over raw Poseidon on every cell. The global stage reduces raw host error by 91-99%, and the local stage further reduces the remaining post-global residual by up to 94.4%.

ASIL: Augmented Structural Information Learning for Deep Graph Clustering in Hyperbolic Space

Graph clustering is a longstanding topic in machine learning. Recently, deep methods have achieved results but still require predefined cluster numbers K and struggle with imbalanced graphs. We study deep graph clustering without K considering realistic imbalance through structural information theory. In the literature, structural information is rarely used in deep clustering, and its classic discrete definition neglects node attributes while exhibiting prohibitive complexity. In this paper, we establish a differentiable structural information framework, generalizing the discrete formalism to the continuous realm. We design a hyperbolic model (LSEnet) to learn the neural partitioning tree in the Lorentz model. Theoretically, we demonstrate its capability in clustering without K and identifying minority clusters. Second, we refine hyperbolic representations to enhance graph semantics. Since tree contrastive learning is non-trivial and costs quadratic complexity, we advance our theory by discovering that structural entropy bounds the tree contrastive loss. Finally, we approach graph clustering through a novel augmented structural information learning (ASIL), which offers an efficient objective to integrate hyperbolic partitioning tree construction and contrastive learning. With a provable improvement in graph conductance, ASIL achieves effective debiased graph clustering in linear complexity. Extensive experiments show ASIL outperforms 20 strong baselines by an average of +12.42% in NMI on the Citeseer dataset.

Cluster-tilted algebras of type $D_n$

Let $H$ be a hereditary algebra of Dynkin type $D_n$ over a field $k$ and $\mathscr{C}_H$ be the cluster category of $H$. Assume that $n\geq 5$ and that $T$ and $T'$ are tilting objects in $\mathscr{C}_H$. We prove that the cluster-tilted algebra $Γ=\mathrm{End}_{\mathscr{C}_H}(T)^{\rm op}$ is isomorphic to $Γ'=\mathrm{End}_{\mathscr{C}_H}(T')^{\rm op}$ if and only if $T=τ^iT'$ or $T=στ^jT'$ for some integers $i$ and $j$, where $τ$ is the Auslander-Reiten translation and $σ$ is the automorphism of $\mathscr{C}_H$ defined in section 4.

Tilting mutation for $m$-replicated algebras

Let $A$ be a finite dimensional hereditary algebra over an algebraically closed field $k$, $A^{(m)}$ be the $m$-replicated algebra of $A$ and $\mathscr{C}_{m}(A)$ be the $m$-cluster category of $ A$. We investigate properties of complements to a faithful almost complete tilting $A^{(m)}$-module and prove that the $m$-cluster mutation in $\mathscr{C}_{m}(A)$ can be realized in ${\rm mod} A^{(m)}$, which generalizes corresponding results on duplicated algebras established in [Z1].

Representation dimension of $m$-replicated algebras

Let $A$ be a finite dimensional hereditary algebra over an algebraically closed field and $A^{(m)}$ the $m$-replicated algebra of $A$. We prove that the representation dimension of $A^{(m)}$ is at most three, and that the dominant dimension of $A^{(m)}$ is at least $m$.
