G2VD: Generalizable AI-Generated Video Detection via Counterfactual Intervention and Causal Disentanglement

Rapid advances in AI video generation pose increasing security risks and call for reliable detectors with strong cross-domain generalization. Although existing methods perform well under in-domain evaluation, their performance degrades substantially on unseen generators. A key reason is shortcut learning, where detectors rely on domain-specific bias rather than intrinsic forensic cues. To address this issue, we propose G2VD, a generalizable AI-generated video detection framework based on counterfactual intervention and causal disentanglement. First, G2VD introduces a counterfactual intervention pipeline (CFIPipeline) that constructs counterfactual samples through VAE-based reconstruction and subsequent frequency-domain and pixel-domain alignment, thereby weakening spurious correlations between domain-specific bias and authenticity labels. Building on this intervention, we further design a causal disentanglement classifier that combines two domain-anchored branches with complementary objectives and a constraint based on the Hilbert-Schmidt Independence Criterion (HSIC), encouraging the causal and non-causal representations to capture intrinsic forensic cues and domain-specific bias, respectively. Experiments across four public datasets demonstrate strong cross-domain performance and consistent gains over baseline methods. In the challenging GenVidBench setting, G2VD achieves over 90\% overall ACC, with improvements of 0.194 in F1 and 0.104 in AUC over comparable state-of-the-art methods, while using only 10\% of the available training data. PostureObjectstitch: Anomaly Image Generation Considering Assembly Relationships in Industrial Scenarios

Image generation technology can synthesize condition-specific images to supplement real-world industrial anomaly data and enhance anomaly detection model performance. Existing generation techniques rarely account for the pose and orientation of industrial components in assembly, making the generated images difficult to utilize for downstream application. To solve this, we propose a novel image synthesis approach, called PostureObjectStitch, that achieves accurate generation to meet the requirement of industrial assembly. A condition decoupling approach is introduced to separate input multi-view images into high-frequency, texture, and RGB features. The feature temporal modulation mechanism adapts these features across diffusion model time-steps, enabling progressive generation from coarse to fine details while maintaining consistency. To ensure semantic accuracy, we introduce a conditional loss that enhances critical industrial elements and a geometric prior that guides component positioning for correct assembly relationships. Comprehensive experimental results on the MureCom dataset, our newly contributed DreamAssembly dataset, and the downstream application validate the outstanding performance of our method.

CAD 100K: A Comprehensive Multi-Task Dataset for Car Related Visual Anomaly Detection

Multi-task visual anomaly detection is critical for car-related manufacturing quality assessment. However, existing methods remain task-specific, hindered by the absence of a unified benchmark for multi-task evaluation. To fill in this gap, We present the CAD Dataset, a large-scale and comprehensive benchmark designed for car-related multi-task visual anomaly detection. The dataset contains over 100 images crossing 7 vehicle domains and 3 tasks, providing models a comprehensive view for car-related anomaly detection. It is the first car-related anomaly dataset specialized for multi-task learning(MTL), while combining synthesis data augmentation for few-shot anomaly images. We implement a multi-task baseline and conduct extensive empirical studies. Results show MTL promotes task interaction and knowledge transfer, while also exposing challenging conflicts between tasks. The CAD dataset serves as a standardized platform to drive future advances in car-related multi-task visual anomaly detection.

GAT-COBO: Cost-Sensitive Graph Neural Network for Telecom Fraud Detection

Along with the rapid evolution of mobile communication technologies, such as 5G, there has been a drastically increase in telecom fraud, which significantly dissipates individual fortune and social wealth. In recent years, graph mining techniques are gradually becoming a mainstream solution for detecting telecom fraud. However, the graph imbalance problem, caused by the Pareto principle, brings severe challenges to graph data mining. This is a new and challenging problem, but little previous work has been noticed. In this paper, we propose a Graph ATtention network with COst-sensitive BOosting (GAT-COBO) for the graph imbalance problem. First, we design a GAT-based base classifier to learn the embeddings of all nodes in the graph. Then, we feed the embeddings into a well-designed cost-sensitive learner for imbalanced learning. Next, we update the weights according to the misclassification cost to make the model focus more on the minority class. Finally, we sum the node embeddings obtained by multiple cost-sensitive learners to obtain a comprehensive node representation, which is used for the downstream anomaly detection task. Extensive experiments on two real-world telecom fraud detection datasets demonstrate that our proposed method is effective for the graph imbalance problem, outperforming the state-of-the-art GNNs and GNN-based fraud detectors. In addition, our model is also helpful for solving the widespread over-smoothing problem in GNNs. The GAT-COBO code and datasets are available at https://github.com/xxhu94/GAT-COBO.

Cost Sensitive GNN-based Imbalanced Learning for Mobile Social Network Fraud Detection

With the rapid development of mobile networks, the people's social contacts have been considerably facilitated. However, the rise of mobile social network fraud upon those networks, has caused a great deal of distress, in case of depleting personal and social wealth, then potentially doing significant economic harm. To detect fraudulent users, call detail record (CDR) data, which portrays the social behavior of users in mobile networks, has been widely utilized. But the imbalance problem in the aforementioned data, which could severely hinder the effectiveness of fraud detectors based on graph neural networks(GNN), has hardly been addressed in previous work. In this paper, we are going to present a novel Cost-Sensitive Graph Neural Network (CSGNN) by creatively combining cost-sensitive learning and graph neural networks. We conduct extensive experiments on two open-source realworld mobile network fraud datasets. The results show that CSGNN can effectively solve the graph imbalance problem and then achieve better detection performance than the state-of-the-art algorithms. We believe that our research can be applied to solve the graph imbalance problems in other fields. The CSGNN code and datasets are publicly available at https://github.com/xxhu94/CSGNN.
